This was just what we needed. A little cottage in the mountains. The host Ann was so sweet. Wants to make sure you have all you need. We were spoiled with home made bread and cookies. The house is very inviting and was bigger than I thought. You can’t go wrong stay ing here. A big plus is, it’s right in the middle of everything to do there.

Nestled just across the road from the entrance to Pikes Peak, this rest space is located to go anywhere yet not be in the middle of the congestion. It had everything we needed to reat, clean up, and head back out! A+

This cozy little suite is a great spot to get away. Far enough away from the city that it's a distant thought, but close enough to hop to any activities you may want. The local food was enough to keep us fed for the weekend. While it is tucked away in a neighborhood and we shared some of the outdoor time with the sounds of others, the labyrinth and the mountain views were more than enough to set the much needed relaxing tone. Would definitely saty here again!

LOVE this place! Amazing stay in Colorado Springs- tucked up by Pikes Peak and away from hustle and bustle of the city. Stayed here for USAFA graduation and it was excellent. Host was very responsive and kind, would certainly stay again!!
Lovely to sit on the porch and backyard patio and watch nature while having coffee and/or wine. Artistic and peaceful vibes, just what I needed. Bedroom overlooks labyrinth, which was so nice to meditate and walk on.
It has a small kitchenette (no sink) but works fine for a few days stay with a small fridge, Keurig and microwave. Cell phone reception wasn’t the best but who cares- it was so nice to get away and relax!

The host is so incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place offers a chance at healing and reflection. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again.

What a wonderful place to stay for my first visit to Colorado. We gave The Sanctuary and Ann a much deserved 5-star rating.
From beginning to end, The Sanctuary was amazing. We arrived to fresh baked cookies, and started the next day with Ann's delicious fresh baked bread and jam. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are well taken care of. She provided all the amenities you will need for your stay. She takes the stress out of traveling due to her attention to every detail.
The Sanctuary itself is truly comfortable and charming, from the bedding to get a good night's sleep, a comfy sofa which is a must when relaxing and a nice patio to enjoy the outdoors.
We are looking forward to our 5-star vacation next year.

My husband and I stayed here due to the proximity of the property to a hike that we wanted to try. The property is lovely and Anne is a warm and welcoming host! It’s obvious by the personal touches and attention to detail that she wants her tenants to be comfortable and have an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again. As a side note, try the Wines of Colorado restaurant located across from the community if you stay here. We ate there twice; the food was delicious and the service is super friendly. Grab a reservation as it seems to be very popular.

This was our second time staying at the Sanctuary of the Rose. Ann is a wonderful hostess! The beautiful little casita was the perfect retreat and gateway for our spring break activities. Ann made us feel like family. And when it snowed, our car was magically cleaned of snow. It was niceties like this that made us truly appreciate their hospitality. The accommodations were very comfortable and charming.

The Sanctuary is a beautiful place and was perfect for our 3 night stay. The property is exactly as described in the listing, was very clean, and in a good location. There’s no kitchen, but the provided space was perfect for coffee and a light breakfast before heading out for the day. The back patio was nice for a glass of wine in the evening. Ann was a great host. She met us to deliver the keys and go through a few things in the home, and was quick to reply with any questions we had. I would highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful Mountain Serenity
The Sanctuary of the Rose was such a beautiful property! The location in the mountains is perfect for a peaceful stay, and close enough to Manitou and Colorado Springs (10 mins to Manitou Springs and about 15 to Colorado Springs). All of the accommodations were very comfortable, and Ann is the sweetest! This location has everything you need for the perfect Mountain getaway!

Is a charming adobe styled guest house built in the 1930s. It is the perfect place to retreat after a day’s adventure in the Colorado Springs area. Your host, Ann greets you upon your arrival and is very welcoming. The Sanctuary of the Rose as it is named is truly that -a sanctuary. Well appointed rooms with Spanish style decor and the comforts of home make this a great place to lay your head while in the area. The hosts made us feel welcomed and shared lots of information about the restaurants and activities to do in the area. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect Vacation at The Sanctuary of the Rose
We just returned from a 3 day stay at the Sanctuary. The pictures and description were 100% accurate. Ann and Chuck were also 100% perfect hosts. The location was within 15 minutes of Manitou Springs, Old Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Flying W Ranch, and Cripple Creek. The furnishings were clean and well-kept. Great little place with beautiful mountain views. It is just outside Colorado Springs (~20 minutes) and Manitou Springs (~10 minutes). Hosts were very nice and the guest house was very charming.

Perfect spot for sightseeing
This little adobe was absolutely perfect, Ann has the perfect location for sightseeing. Away from the city and quiet.i sat on the porch and watched the hummingbird. We were so close to Pike’s Peak,the cliff dwellings, old Colorado, manitou Springs, and the Garden of the Gods. The adobe was super clean ,with lots of information on things around the area.. You could have just stayed here for relaxation as well and would not get bored. Ann has truly thought of everything you need.

The deer were so close and fun to watch. The location is perfect for your Colorado activities. The bed was perfect and everything was very clean. Matt has beautiful flowers. If u don't stay here, you are missing out.

A relaxing experience and a wonderful trip! A private, wooded setting very close to hiking, shopping, landmarks, and restaurants. Lots of amenities including soft towels and bedding, quality personal care products, water, snacks and coffee. We also watched movies from their DVD collection after active days of hiking and exploring. Well organized and professional owners. We had a great time!
