The house was very clean and comfortable. We stayed with 8 adults and a toddler and had room for everyone to be together or enjoy quiet time in separate areas, playing pool downstairs or sitting on the deck. The view from the deck was breathtaking. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked - we had everything we needed. We did have to reset the hot water heater multiple times, but instructions were provided and hot water was available right away after reset. The neighborhood was quiet and the drive to the property was beautiful. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful Black Hills!

Suzanne was very responsive when the hot tub needed a little tlc. Thank you so much for sharing your special home. We will book again one day for sure. We're thinking of a winter trip one day.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. My grandkids enjoyed playing pool. We spent a lot of time on the deck watching some wild life.o It was stocked ok for a family that likes to cook. There is need for more pots and pans. Also the racks in the oven kept falling down like they were the wrong size. The light under the microwave didn't work so you could see what was cooking on the stove top. Plus the light in the oven didn't work either. Parking is limited. We had a lot of troubles with the hot water and with family pictures we had to shower at other locations. Called the host on a Friday afternoon and she returned my call on a monday night. She apologized for not returning my call and for all the troubles we had. We did use the hot tub twice and there was a lot of instructions they want you to do daily. I don't know much about a hot tub and it was kind of confusing. I read the reveiws before booking and I felt the need to give an honest opinion.

Property was perfect for our family getaway. We enjoyed the game rooms, hot tub and beautiful view/sunsets. Even had a couple deer pass through the back yard.
Plenty of room allowing everyone to have their own space but also room to hang out together.

We absolutely loved this cabin. It was very clean and in a beautiful location. Our family of 4 and a set of grandparents stayed for a week and tried to see everything SD has to offer. We had plenty of room and really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub.
Most of the main attractions (Rushmore, Custer, etc) are an hour to an hour and a half drive. Don’t plan to be in a hurry, take your time and enjoy the scenery. Our kids didn’t mind driving around at all. Spearfish canyon is close and is a must see as well.
Be careful in Lead, the local police will send you home with an extra souvenir if you’re not watching your speed!
Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and look forward to heading out there again at some point.

This place had everything you needed and was absolutely gorgeous!! View was spectacular. So much to see around the area and qasn’t too far to Custer State park and all the places that way to see. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved spending time with family of 5 here! Plenty of space and we loved the hot tub after riding the trails during the day! Also the place is well stocked with dishes, spices, pans, etc!

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, the kitchen especially well equipped. Hot tub, pool table and football were enjoyed by all. Would definitely recommend this property.

Absolutely beautiful location, less than a 1/2 mile from the front doors of Terry Peak Ski Lodge.
Breathtaking views for miles, with gorgeous sunsets.
Plenty of room to spread out and still enough to gather and enjoy everyone’s company (7 of us).

We stayed at this house the week of my son's wedding. Him and his bride had decided on getting married at Chapel on the Hill for their destination wedding. Mom, sister auntie and stepdad along with brother and his fiance of the groom all had a wonderful week here.

We loved the cabin and the breathtaking views! We spent the days running to various sites and enjoyed relaxing evenings at the cabin. It was a great experience for our first real family vacation.

Vacation to the black hills
This place was beautiful. Well kept, and fully stocked with most of your needs. Location is ideal Mt. Rushmore, badlands, devils hole and much more. The view is beautiful from the house. We did struggle with altitude a little bit. The house it at 6400 feet and we were use to 300 feet. I would highly recommend staying here! Thank you!

Beautiful cabin
One of the better VRBOs we have stayed at. The home is comfortable and the view is gorgeous - saw several deer from the porch. Everything was clean and very well stocked. We had one question while we were there and Suzanne quickly responded (and had I looked harder, the information was already in the welcome book). The house was easily accessible from the highway, and a quick drive to Lead and Deadwood. Our kids (13 and 16) loved the pool table and hot tub. Would easily recommend to others. Thanks for a fun week!

We stayed at this property during New Years Eve. It is so close to Terry Peak that we could run to the house for lunches or even breaks from the hill. It was clean and well stocked and had good entertainment for our teens. The hot tub had a nice view and was a great way to relax at the end of the ski day. I would stay here again anytime.

Fantastic get-a-way for our family
House was exactly as described. We rented the house for a long weekend to get the kids up in the mountains and out playing. It was a perfect set up and very cozy. Proximity to Terry Peak ski resort is great as well. We will be back! Thanks much Suzanne.

Enjoyable start to 2022
We stayed at this property during New Years Eve. It is so close to Terry Peak that we could run to the house for lunches or even breaks from the hill. It was clean and well stocked and had good entertainment for our teens. The hot tub had a nice view and was a great way to relax at the end of the ski day. I would stay here again anytime.

FYI: It was beautiful and we so enjoyed the million dollar view. I want to report that the toilets on the main and upper level are extremely difficult to flush. I felt sometimes that I was going to break the toilet with the amount of strength needed to flush. Also, the toilet on the main level was grossly dirty under the rim. You can see this when standing at the sink. I personally didn't check the other toilets. We loved the showers.
Also, we did not use the hot tub. The day before we left we found some instructions for the hot tub in the lowest level. It looks like these instructions belonged in the 3 ring binder and this is where I expected to learn about the hot tub. I'm glad we didn't use the hot tub as we wouldn't have done the necessary things before getting in, since we didn't have instructions. Also, the oven door was very dirty.
We truly had a wonderful time at your property! It is a lovely place with comfortable beds, furniture, and decorations. The star gazing is awesome! Thank you!

My family and I stayed at this house at the end of August. The house was absolutely incredible. We've stayed at a handful of VRBO homes and this was by far the best stocked home we've stayed in. They had everything you could possibly need. Lots of movies and board games in the lower level - for all ages. My daughter loved the foosball table and we all enjoyed the hot tub. When we weren't sitting on the deck enjoying the views, the loft was a perfect place to relax and unwind with a good book. If we are ever are in the area again, I will definitely stay at this house again.

We came for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and the road to access the cabin was a steep, dirt/caleche hill with rocks. Slippery and scary on the motorcycles. The guys seemed to get use to it after a couple of days but still didn’t feel comfortable with the girls on the back, so we paid for a week’s parking at the resort at the bottom and every time we left, the girls would drive down in the car, park, & then get on the bikes from there. Then reverse that on the way back to go up the hill. Again, the cabin itself was amazing. I would stay again, sans motorcycles.

The cabin was great. Gorgeous view. Nice & clean and had everything we could possibly need. We had an amazing time! Our cabin was perfect for our family of 6. The view was amazing! The deck was perfect to view the scenery as were the windows from the cabin. We truly enjoyed our stay and would come back!!

Great place, clean, exactly as advertised. Location was ideal for taxi'ing into and out of Deadwood. Quiet neighborhood with little traffic because it's a winter ski spot. Would return.

What a beautiful cabin in the scenic Black Hills! We enjoyed our stay and had great weather. Saw deer everyday from the patio. Enjoyed the nearby parks and great water park in Spearfish. Everything was great and the owner was easy to work with. This place is awesome and we hope to return some day!
