Eine sehr ruhige Craftsman Haus auf 1/2 acre, zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder. Francis Street Haus wurde in der Craftsman-Stil, mit warmen Boden beheizt, mit Familie Favoriten, Möbel, Teppiche, Teppiche, Wireless-Zugang, Dish TV, Telefon und DVR eingerichtet gebaut. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet: Geschirrspülmaschine, Herd, Kühlschrank, Geräte und voller Waschküche.
Von der altmodischen Veranda und Wrap-around-Deck, können Sie die Tierwelt genießen können oder einfach nur entspannen und die Kirschblättern driften nach unten.

We have stayed at Carlos’s many times over the years. We enjoy kibitzing with Carlos, the cool weather, walking to the store, Centerville Beach, the VI, and the North Coast in general. Great Vaca.

The property was beautiful with nature right in your backyard. Super quiet and a short walk to downtown. Plenty of space for family to stay and a quick jump off point for local sights to see. My stayed in Ferndale was to visit with my sister who lives locally.

What a peaceful and beautiful stay. Carlos was an amazing host and we enjoyed sitting one evening with him and his sweet dog, Chica. You can't go wrong choosing this place.

We have started at Francis Street House 3 years ago to meet our Great Grandson and enjoyed it so much we had to go back there.
We loved the big yard there as the kids had a place to play and a creek beside the house. Plus it set back off the main street. The town of Ferndale is a very interesting place. Plus it was close to our granddaughters home.
The owner Carlos was there whenever we needed him. He had lost his wife in January, but he is doing a great job on his own.
If you want a great place to stay this is it.

This home was ideal for us. The beds were comfortable, the home is lovely, the yard is sweet and my grandson loved the play structure, the kitchen was a lovely ammenity for us to make breakfast, Carlos was friendly and accomodating in every way-

The location was perfect, right downtown and close to everything. Carlos was a great host, and I could not have asked for a better stay.

What a wonderful home! Clean and accommodating for our family, including two younger boys. They loved the yard! We have family in the area and have stayed in Ferndale, Loleta, and Eureka many times and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Walking distance to downtown Ferndale and a public park for our kids. We will be staying here every time we are in the area from now on. Thank you, Carlos, for letting us use your home, we had so much fun on our trip!

We really enjoyed our stay in this darling home. It is in a picturesque setting next to the creek we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit outside with plenty of available wood. The husband and wife hosts of this home are attentive and even sent us home with a bag of apples from their trees We would come and stay Here again as we enjoy visiting Ferndale. Make sure you venture out to Fortuna and go to the Double D if you like Italian style meat, centric dining.

The home was delightful. Awesome location . Very convenient and nice to be able to walk to town . Wish we could of spent more time at the house to be able to enjoy the yard and outdoor fireplace. Would definitely stay there again.

Our favorite rental in Ferndale so far. We have rented a few places in town (all we’re good). However this was the best one, the most comfortable, best location, amazing hosts, etc. Carlos and Marylin were very gracious and lovely to meet. We will definitely be back!

House is beautiful and well maintained. It was wonderful to stay in such a lovely home. Ferndale is one of our favorite destinations. Carlos and Marilyn are such excellent hosts who went out of there way to make us feel welcomed and at home during our stay. Highly recommend this destination if you are visiting in this area.

My wife and stayed with another couple. We all had a very nice stay. It's a comfortable, clean home with a great yard and location. Really enjoyed the radiant floor heating too. Look forward to returning someday.

The majority of our stay was spent in the lovely house and gorgeous yard. The Benneman's are most accommodating people; very gracious and kind, as well as extremely flexible. Our first vacation in 8 years and we couldn't have spent it in a better place! It was almost like being in our own little world where we could relax and recharge and occassionally go downtown where the wonderful stores and welcoming locals were there to meet us.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. We were in Ferndale for our Sons Wedding and this was perfect for my husband & I, our daughter & son in law and their two children age 3 and 4 mos. We were greeted by the owners Marilyn and Carlos upon arrival and they gave us the full tour of everything. The location was perfect at the edge of town which was within walking distance to the fun shops and restaurants. We’ve always loved Ferndale so I highly recommend this beautiful property.

What a great property! The yard and privacy are great. If you are looking for modern upscale this isn't the place for you, but if Cozy and Comfy it is perfect. Well stocked kitchen and gorgeous yard. The owners are right next door and so sweet! Great location to walk to anything you need in Ferndale.

Our hosts greeted us when we arrived, walked us through the house. Made us welcome. The house is located in a Victorian village near the ocean. The property is well maintained and equipped.

Soooo Cooool !!! What a place... and just what we needed. Close enough to whatever we wanted to do and so quiet for the times we just wanted to chill. Carlos and Marilyn were very welcoming, easy to talk to and available for whatever needs we may have had. The house was perfect for our needs. It was difficulty to leave and return to reality.

Great location, owners next door
This comfortable home is steps from the scenic downtown of Ferndale. The kind owners live next door and are available to help with check in, any issues, and restaurant recommendations. The kitchen is very well stocked and there are nice outdoor spaces. The yard is not fenced, but there is a grassy enclosed dog run in the back. Be careful with the front door, it can blow open if not locked. The beds in both bedrooms are two twins pushed together and made up separately. We enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful, comfy, and hated to leave!
The house has classic artwork throughout, including a print of a Scottish sheep painting that I loved, above the desk. I'd say that was my favorite thing... but also the solar lights and radiant floor heating was a nice surprise. The windows from the dinning and living rooms are all open to cherry trees and yard - very green and peaceful. The property is in a quiet part of town, off the road, and private. If you plan on doing some baking/cooking, bring your favorite tools/supplies, otherwise the house is perfectly stocked with plenty of blankets, pillows, towels, etc. The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and full of local knowledge and advice. My friends and I would love to stay here again!

Couldn't be better
Carlos and Marilyn were perfect hosts and their home was very well taken care of. It was comfortable inside and out with thoughtful touches everywhere. And having the cherry trees in bloom was almost magical. We would be back for sure.

Everything was Perfect
We both enjoyed our stay at the Francis Street house. The kitchen has everything you will need, the beds VERY comfortable. It is within walking distance to shops, dining. It's just a short drive to the beach as well as exploring the surrounding areas.

Beautiful home in a fantastic location, easily and comfortable accommodated 5 people, and was very dog-friendly. Truly Lovely & Homey
Staying here felt like visiting family. The house feels like a home and Marilyn and Carlos are welcoming. We loved the little almond tarts Marilyn left us as a welcome treat! The kitchen is well stocked (we were delighted to find a scale we used for baking) and has far more than typically found in a vacation rental. You can see Ferndale's world's tallest living xmas tree from the living room windows and it is just a moment's walk to the charming downtown. Quiet and central and cozy and welcoming are how we would would describe this home and our visit. We will surely be back.
