1 bedroom and bathroom on opposite sides of house. Perfect for 2 separate families. Each bedroom can sleep 4. Very clean. Lots of counter space in kitchen. Openness of living room into kitchen is great.

This house was perfect for us. Plenty of dock space for 2 boats. Nice hangout out side by the dock. Close to the restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back. The house was great.

We love to come here and fish the Homosassa. Quick ride out, great dock, and cleaning station. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly located on the river.

House was great and well appointed. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Cindy is a great host!

Enjoyed the stay and view

My husband and I visited Homosassa for a 2-night stay at this property. I've been visiting Homosassa annually for at least 25 years and wanted to stay in a home along the canal versus a hotel so I could feel the essence of Homosassa. Though we had no manatees in our canal, it was everything I thought it would be - tranquil, quiet, and lots of beautiful birds. The location was ideal - we were mere minutes from the State Park and close to great restaurants and shopping (from artisans to grocery stores). We enjoyed the VRBO - the place was clean, spacious, and the kitchen very inviting with a wonderfully large kitchen table (would be great for a big family). The bed was awesome - I have a tempur-pedic at home and this rivaled that easily. We had a few issues with the rental due to a previous thunderstorm (cable and TV out) but the host was responsive, easy-to-reach at all hours, and did everything in her power to alleviate the problems. That was a real plus and greatly appreciated by us. Because of this, we wouldn't hesitate a second to do VRBO with Cindy again. She is a terrific host, honest and reputable. I've stayed at other VRBOs around the country, but she by far has been the best host I've ever encountered and that is a huge plus and asset to this property.

Ended up staying at the home next door to this original property, as there was a maintenance problem. VRBO owner owns all three properties. Very nice appliances and everything you will need to cook meals. We were able to use the on-property fire pit.

Great stay.

We came for the last day of scalloping. The house was in a great location close to restaurants and nightlife. House was clean, well stocked and in a great location - end of a quiet canal. The dock and screened patio were great for hanging out. Easy ride out to snorkel. We had a Great time

Really easy.

This was our 3rd year back, we enjoyed every minute. It was peaceful and relaxing, rental had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Cindy was very accommodating and helpful. We are grateful and had another year of good family time, scalloping and enjoyed surrounding nature. Looking forward to returning!

Cutest little house absolutely perfect for our weekend!! Fits 6 adults comfortably and one kid the loft in the bedroom to left was perfect for her. Everyone had a great time. Photos don’t do justice! We went boating during the day and sat on the dock in the evening watching the sunsets! The dock also is at a dead end so no boat traffic very quiet and relaxing. Already booked for next year!

Location and house was awesome. We really enjoyed quite nights on the dock. Convenient to the channel. Already considering booking again for next year. Thank you Cindy we loved everything about your cottage ❤️

Very nice and quiet had a great time

A beautiful cottage by a canal and near the springs! We had an accident (hit a dear) and totaled our van on the way there from Ohio so we only got to stay one night. Even so, our family (with our adult children) made the most of it and truly enjoyed the area and kayaking! The home had everything we needed and was so peaceful. The place looks even better in person! We plan to rent this one again in the future if available!

This house has everything you need for a quick stay or a month long vacation. Kayak’s with a boat ramp. Fishing right out the back door.

We enjoyed our brief stay at this charming little cabin on the water. On both sides of this cabin were properties owned and occupied by members of the family that owns the cabin. They were delightful and helpful, directed us to the kayaks and life jackets and gave us tips about the area. We did have a small blip- when we arrived late at night the beds had been stripped and the cleaners hadn't come, but the host made it right by covering the cost of our first night and the cleaners came the next morning. The landscaping was beautiful and the setting serene. I just wish we could have stayed a little longer! If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!

Great access to fishing

The house is big with plenty of room for 4 - 6 adults Stayed here a few times. Never disappointed

The family that rented the property to us was great, friendly, and helped make sure our stay was perfect. Right on the water, manatees swam right up to our docks. We were more than pleased.

Wonderful place to vacation

Manatees and dolphins in the backyard, kayak easily into a wilderness preserve, access to amazing fresh seafood at Shellys fish market, and great burgers at Old Time Mill. That’s just in the neighborhood!! Would highly recommend, don’t hesitate to book this spot. We were also able to meet Cindy and she’s even lovelier in person. Great stay.

Even though it wasnt as warm as we would of liked everythjng was perfect! Some of the sleeping arrangements are better for kids . 5-16 the kids argued about who could sleep in loft. More than enough room . Would defintely stay again.
