The house is roomy and only 1 short block to the path to the beach—close enough for older kids to run back for drinks, etc. The deck and gathering area are comfortable with plenty of seating. Kitchen is well furnished. No ice maker, but several ice trays.

Went with both our kids and their families so 12 of us altogether! Yes we did have to put an air mattress up for two of our little ones. We found the house to be very well equipped, everything you could need. Location is fabulous just around the corner from beach, although there could have been some fine cleaning ( such as cleaning fronts of kitchen cupboards and wiping around door handles) for the most part this was certainly just like home ( unless you are a clean freak!!!!) I don't understand the negative reviews! This house is in a multi million dollar neighbourhood and we all had a wonderful time! Kitchen was so well equipped everything you could possibly need. Personally I would not hesitate to go back! Eric was very quick to respond to any questions.

we spent 7 days at this place the location of the house is perfect very very close to the beach the beach is perfect now let's talk about the house we have to pay for the cleaning but the cleaning must not have been done for a very long time because there was food in the sofas which leads to the proliferation of harmful insects (ants, cockroaches, wasps) we must have killed several of them some household appliances not working (microwave in addition) sorry for his bad comments but hey, things have to be said as they are we still had a very pleasant week, Virginia is ideal for having a good tim

Overall my family and I had an amazing stay at this property! It was in a great location close to everything the beach, the boardwalk just a short drive, and any stores that were needed. There were a few minor issues, but nothing that couldn’t be worked around. The owner, Eric, he was amazing at communicating with us with questions or if the was a an issue. Would definitely stay at this location again!

Overall, the location was great and the house had plenty of space for all of us. Issue with check in that prevented us from entering the house for about two hours. Other than that, great place.

We new property was rustic but that does not mean dirty. Floors were dirty, not cleaned for awhile. Air conditioner vent was filthy and looked like it was covered in either dirt or mold. Lots of bugs came out when we opened cover to grill. Would not recommend to a friend.

We arrived at the house after a long drive with 2 young children and the house was close to being uninhabitable that night. The entire house was filthy. The rugs and couches in the living room were soiled. There was so much dust in the house that it hung from the ceiling in places. Both of my kids have dust allergies... The house says it has 5 bedrooms. But the kids’ bedroom has a technical closet with a heater/AC unit inside of it (not locked or anything) with a bedroom door going out to the street! All of the air vents/filters were full of dust that was protruding forward. Mold was framing the vents, and pieces of the wall were falling off in places. The lower level was freezing cold and there was a note near the AC to not adjust it. There were cockroaches in the house. Many of the electrical outlets were loose and did not work. The water temperature in the bathrooms was not properly regulated and scald hazard. The blankets were all dirty. The closets/cabinets in every single room were full of the owners’/previous guests’ stuff and all sorts of rubbish. Most bedroom/bathroom doors did not lock. WiFi was useless upstairs or downstairs and was slow on the main level. The kitchen had very minimal cookware. The dishwasher was not properly installed and came out of the wall/counter each time we opened it. Halfway through our stay, it stopped working altogether. The handle from the freezer fell off too, it was glued with construction foam to the freezer before. The vacuum cleaners were useless and full of dust. The little rusty tile table in the living room had broken tile so we decided to move it to the side to keep our kids from running into it and cutting themselves but the table started falling apart as soon as we touched it so we had to take it out to the patio altogether as it became a hazard for the kids in the middle of the living room. The owner is now charging us over $200 in damage for that old table. The outside shower had boxes of electrical wires right next to the shower. I got shocked slightly one time trying to open the water so we stopped using the outside shower for the fear of getting electrocuted and used the hose to wash off sand instead. The patio table is broken and the umbrella is not securely attached. The house is run down and in need of safety inspection, serious repairs, and cleaning. It is not a safe house for people to stay in (let alone vacation and rest) in its present state.
