Neu renoviert! Ich habe all die "konstruktive Kritik" meiner letzten Gäste auf mich genommen und an diesem Haus gearbeitet - drinnen und draußen!
Ich habe Verbesserungen und Upgrades an meinem Haus vorgenommen, darunter ein Umbau des Badezimmers, neue Verbesserungen / Ergänzungen der Innenausstattung, verbesserte Küchengeräte mit neuen Utensilien und Essgeschirr sowie ein neues Außenverkleidungselement, Fenster und Türen. Das Ganze wird innen und außen mit einer gründlichen Reinigung abgerundet - von oben bis unten - und gibt dem Haus das echte "brandneue" Erlebnis. Und dann... Ich habe meine Preise gesenkt.
Warum sollte ich meine Preise senken? Weil ich möchte, dass meine Gästebewertungen in alle 5-Sterne-Bewertungen umgewandelt werden! Und Sie, der Reisende, profitieren von einem schöneren Zuhause zu niedrigeren Preisen.

Das Stadthaus ist komplett möbliert. Sie müssen nur eintreten und Ihre Koffer auspacken, und schon sind Sie zu Hause.
Die Küche ist voll möbliert mit Geschirr, Töpfen und Pfannen sowie allen Küchenutensilien, die für die Zubereitung kompletter Mahlzeiten zu Hause benötigt werden. Die Geräte sind modern und funktionieren hervorragend. Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine und Trockner, alles, was Sie brauchen, um für die Dauer zu Hause zu sein. Badezimmer in voller Größe hat eine Stufe in der Dusche / Badewanne-Kombination. Und dann gibt es das gemütliche Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett und das Schlafzimmer mit Etagenbett mit zwei Doppelbetten und zwei Einzelbetten.
Machen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt zu einem längeren Aufenthalt und Sie müssen nicht am Wochenende auschecken.
Das Townhouse liegt zentral an der Autobahn TN 62. Hier ist, wie bequem Einkaufen, Essen und Spaß zu mir nach Hause ist. Fahren Sie auf dem Oak Ridge Highway, TN 62, weniger als 1,6 km in östlicher Richtung. Dort finden Sie einen Walgreens und einen brandneuen Ingle-Supermarkt. In der Nähe befindet sich der Highway TN 162, eine Autobahn in westlicher Richtung von Knoxville, auf der Sie gleich neben der Autobahn gehobene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und einen Kroger- oder Publix-Supermarkt finden. Und schließlich, wenn Sie nach Nordwesten in die Stadt Oak Ridge fahren, die mehr als 10 Minuten entfernt ist, strotzt es auch vor guten Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Der einzige Transport- / Logistiknachteil, dem wir uns bewusst sind, ist, dass der Oak Ridge Highway, TN 62, während der Hauptverkehrszeiten (vormittags und nachmittags) sehr voll ist. Mit ein wenig Planung Ihrer Abfahrten und Ankünfte können Sie jedoch Unannehmlichkeiten vermeiden.

House was very comfortable. The pictures don’t show all the improvements to the home and furniture and we were pleasantly surprised at all the differences. All the beds, the king bed and the bunk beds have super comfortable mattresses. The bunk beds have 10 inch adult mattresses. And the home was spotless. This is the third house that I have stayed at in this neighborhood. It is clear to me, that this location is very safe with kids outside playing and primary made up with hard working families. The covered back porch is where we sat and had morning coffee. Not certain when I'll be back to Knoxville, but I will be checking to see if this house is available again when I do.

Nice size rooms. Lots of hooks for hanging clothes, towels. Really liked the openness of the living room and dining room. A plus to have coffee provided. Kitchen was well equipped.
No hair dryer, body wash/bar soap, dish cloth to clean dishes or ice.

Clean. Smelled great. Some modernizing made it feel like home. Nothing fancy but for $81 a night we cannot complain! Extra quiet neighborhood. This is 1/2 of a two unit duplex...there was no one in the next door location while we were there so we can't comment on what that would be like but the amenities were great for an extremely affordable price. Completely accessible to UT and great food! Tecommend Corner16 restaurant BIGTIME! Also Honeybee Coffee was fantastic and if you want flowers for your sweetie "Flourish Flowers" was in Front of Honeybee Coffee in a 1967 mini-econoline truck and is adorable!!

The location was perfect. The duplex was clean and tidy. The ONLY thing that was an issue - and it was my fault for not checking on this prior - is there's only one bathroom. This made it a bit difficult to get ready and out the door in a reasonable time. Again, this is MY FAULT for not checking. Regardless. I would have still booked the property.

Nice place. Only 2 small complaints: there was a bleach-y smell in the kitchen when we arrived that I found rather gross, and there was no laundry soap provided. Otherwise the house was fine. Nothing fancy but fine.

When I pulled up to the property i couldn't find the code to get in. It was hidden in the welcome message. The owner answered and instead of just telling me the code she made me search thru the message to find it.
As we were going up the steps we noticed they were cracked and crumbled. My aunt who traveled with me had a hard time getting up and down them for fear of falling on the steps.
The freezer had mold in it. I had to clean it in order to use it. We checked the washer and it was filthy. I reached out to Sheila about it and she never responded. We went to Walmart to buy bleach and cleaning supplies to clean up. The bathroom was clean. The kitchen was clean outside of the freezer.
Some of the furniture was not the same as in the photos.
There were bugs as well as a smell. No matter how much my aunt sprayed there was a smell.
I was disappointed with my stay. It wasn't as it seemed on the pictures at all.

The Karns VRBO was the perfect location for our family to visit relatives living in the Oakridge and West Knoxville area. We we’re grateful that there was a grocery store, pharmacy, and restaurants within a few miles. Leaving snow behind in MN we welcomed the TN spring weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck and exploring the back yard with our two preschool age children. The yard was partially fenced in and open to the front yard and the street. Fortunately the VRBO is located in a quiet neighborhood so there wasn’t any heavy traffic.
The VRBO had everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking meals and we definitely appreciated having a laundry room with washer and dryer! There are steep steps to get to the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms, so if you have toddlers you may want to bring a baby gate! We found this VRBO to be very clean, we had plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. Our only concern was that the master bedroom carpet, that was covered by a beautiful area rug, was stained and had a strong smokey smell. The owner quickly responded to any questions we had related to adjusting the thermostat. Her guidance was helpful and the temperature in the VRBO was always comfortable. Our family definitely would stay here again and we enjoyed our stay.

The last day we had no hot water. We also had to move the microwave to a different plug because it would not work where it was originally located. I contacted the owner and she said she would have someone come the next day, they never came but with it being on a Sunday I understand that. Definitely hoping the owner can get these things addressed and fixed because it’s a very nice place.

The townhouse is accurate in photo and description. The owner promptly answered our questions and concerns. It is a very quiet neighborhood for sleep at night
The cleaning people should dust better as I cleaned cobwebs off the blinds and windows. There's a musty smell on the first floor maybe from being closed up a while. The bath towels should be replaced with newer ones.
The beds proved to be comfortable however, and we slept well.

I say young or healthy because the sidewalk up to the townhouse is a little steep and a large last step to the porch surface. The stairs are definitely steeper than most. I have knee problems, so it was slow going, when using the stairs, which also made it very inconvenient for the bathroom being upstairs. I made it work by going down, sideways.
AC started acting up the last night we were there. Owner answered immediately, and got the maintenance man to come out, but the AC didn't stay working, but finally cooled things off in the morning. There is a window AC unit blowing in the upstairs big bedroom.
As for updating, could use some different carpet in bedrooms and maybe some paint inside.
