Book this place. Host with the most and a fabulous location. My husband, dog and I will def be back. Brilliant starry nights and wildflower mornings, situated next to a classic cherry stand. Flathead Lake is incredible, surrounded by charming tiny towns. Glaciar NP is amazing in every sense of the word. Decent beer. Good grass. We can't wait to visit again (and hopefully stay here with few friends next time!) Thanks so much, Chad!!!

We have found it more challenging to find places to stay that accomodate a 'blend' of families, ie grandparents, parents, kids, infants and 2-3 larger dogs. Pros: One of my favorite things about this place- the 3 bedrooms are all separated from each in different sections of the house so there is a sense of privacy when anyone needs some 'space'- lol...however, even with that separation, the 2 bedrooms neareast the kitchen can hear pretty much everything- like a crying baby since they share a wall. The living room is still a central hangout area with 3 couches, TV w/ lots of video choices. LOTS of parking space! It is a quite different layout wrt lots of spaces separated by doorways and walls, but you don't feel cramped. It is an older/dated home but we thought that kind of lent to its charm in such a rustic outdoor area. A special bonus was the swingset, little jungle gym and tether ball with picnic table and fire pit. The little ones really enjoyed it and it's a nice option for any adults that want a change of scenery from being indoors. Very large and spacious yard with lots of shade. Finally, one of the key features of why we chose Wildflower Cottage was the indoor/outdoor dog area- the most unique feature I've ever seen which allows the dogs to ingress out to the fenced area and also lay around in a fenced area just inside the backdoor off the LR. I think the dogs really appreciated that, too! Very easy to communicate with owners- Very responsive and pleasant to deal with. And the location of the cottage is right next door to a cherry orchard and less than 3 miles to downtown Big Fork. All pluses. We were trying to find a walk path to the water since on the maps, it looks like there is one. But no luck there. Cons: as some have already noted, no toiletries or hair dryer. Size of the bathrooms are quite small and there is only one tub/shower for the entire house. The kitchen is a bit cramped primarily due to the large pub sized table right in the middle. None of these are deal breakers and we would stay here in again

Place was quaint and very clean lots of room big yard for the family . Spent most of time out and about place was supplied with fans only. So if ur dont mind some day time warth it was perfect nights were wonderful thank you for our lil vaca

Great location for staying around flathead lake. We really enjoyed our stay here. Great value for a 3 bedroom place in the area. The yard was fantastic for hanging out in the evenings. Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again!

Quaint home large enough for four adults and two dogs. Large yard with lots of parking space and set up for families to play and entertain. House had everything needed to stay in and cook plus being centrally located to access the lake and visit the area.

Property owners had all amenities, including precut firewood to have fire pit and roast marshmallows.

I did not realize how big this place was when I rented it. It was very clean and had everything I needed. The yard was big and had several sitting areas. It was close enough to Glacier without being near a busy are. It was nice to have the privacy. They even had a tether ball pole. It would be. Great place for kids with the big yard. The host even brought me firewood and offered to start a bonfire for me. I would definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant location and fairly easy to get to. Close to all things to see in Bigfork and Kalispell.

Great communication with the owners, and they allowed a last minute request for an hour late check out due to my work necessities. I really appreciated their flexibility. Great location and comfortable beds and pillows! Nice to have a smart TV. Kitchen is fully equipped with whatever you might need. Very cute place!

This property was clean and wonderful. It was very easy to get to Glacier National Park. It was just my wife and I, but this place has everything you would need for a family with children. Lots of outdoor things right in the yard. The fresh coffee beans we very nice touch. This property has everything you would want while stay away. It is private, very close to the lake, and the host are very nice and helpful.

It was a perfect home base for all the stuff we had planned in the area. Everything was as described, nice and clean, easy check in and out. My only complaint is there is no AC. When we were there the temps were in the 90s and we were hot! To be fair, AC is not listed in the amenities, which is why I didn’t take off any stars. GREAT setup for a dog, although ours didn’t come with us.

Wildflower Cottage was just what we were looking for. It was a great place for a family vacation in the Flathead area. The yard was especially nice for our dogs and little grandson.

We enjoyed the fire pit the first night, even after a long car ride. The kitchen had all the utensils and dishware we needed. The beds were very comfortable. The only caution to be aware of the steps going into the house. They are steep. We enjoyed the four nights we were there.

We were in the Kalispell area for a memorial service and the cottage was a perfect place to stay. It was spotless, well appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and we did not lack for anything as far as pots/pans/utensils. There were even filters for the coffee machine! I especially liked the fact, in the main bathroom, the shower head was placed high on the wall, so I could actually stand up in the shower! (I'm 6'3"). The cottage is decorated in a rustic, whimsical way, full of charm. Chad was a great host: quickly responding to our email questions, and leaving the lights on at night when we checked in. He even invited us to pick some raspberries from his raspberry patch! We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in Kalispell area in the future.

Cozy, comfortable, beautiful. Includes everything you need for the perfect Montana vacation. Beautiful yard that has you feeling surrounded by nature while still being centrally located to easily get to grocery, town, restaurants, two beautiful beach accesses and close to the West side of Glacier National Park. Cottage has anything you need: kitchen supplies if you want to eat in, laundry, grill, nice play area for kids, cozy gas fireplace, firepit and picnic tables, nice tub and shower to relax in after a hike in the park. The owners are the kindest, friendliest, and most helpful people you could meet and are willing to help with tips on local attractions and hiking and park experiences. There is a wonderful list of suggested entertainment provided as well. We loved it!

Absolutely loved this place! Definitely will come again! Woods bay is our new favorite place in the valley. Thank you Chad and Rhonda for allowing us to experience your awesome home. The fireplace was a bonus!

This was a great place to stay near Big Fork. So many nice things about this property to mention. We loved the fact that we had our own little county cottage but close to all the things we wanted to do. Our 3 yo kids loved it, I mean truly loved it. Huge yard, their own play set and roasting marshmallows at night. When we left they said they did not want to leave their “Big Fork home”. The hosts were great as well, very responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was located very near to central Bigfork. The beds were very comfortable and had more than adequate supplies of pillows and extra blankets. The towels were thick and again very plentiful. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make any meal. There was a great supply of videos/DVDs. We enjoyed the outside gas grill and fire pit. We awoke one morning to find three deer romping around the front yard. The only negative for us us that us is located right on a busy road, we hadn't expected this. We were able to close the gate to the road, it did offer more privacy, but we still heard clearly every car that went by.

Great time and a great property, the renters were very helpful and even brought in new firewood to burn after the first night.

We stayed 3 nights, and wished we were there alot longer. Lovely spacious 3 bedroom cottage, set well back from the busy road, with delightful and nostalgic touches of '50's decor. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good facilities if you have a dog. Chad the owner can advise on best places to swim in Flathead Kake, nearby walks, and other activities.

The property was exactly what we needed for our trip. It gave us a place for everyone to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was clean. As a bonus their was a fire pit and BBQ. The whole area and experience was great.

The wildflower cottage will not disappoint. Lots of room for everyone, big front yard with an apple tree, playset and a firepit. Definitely a great place to get away and relax. Chad and Rhonda definitely take the time to make sure your stay is comfortable. Thanks so much!

This property was a very nice little cabin close to Flathead lake and two miles south of Bigfork. The Felts have done a great job of making the cabin a pleasant place to spend our time. There was a complete complement of appliances, including washer, dryer and blender (indispensable for blended margaritas!). Their very friendly pets (a cat and a dog) had the run of the property but were no problem whatsoever. The property is next to the highway, so there is some traffic noise during the day but little to none at night. One thing to know is that the entry is a little hard to spot the first time. As soon as you spot the red fence, slow down or you will miss the turn! I highly recommend that you consider this rental!

First, I want to say that the owners were very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, when my wife and I went to bed, we heard at least one mouse, or some other animal, running around in the ceiling. Our two children were already asleep and it was much too late to be dealt with. This may have been an unfortunate, isolated incident, but it really made us not want to stay there for the second night of our two-night stay. I emailed the owners and they promptly refunded our second night.
