There are definitely some very nice "pros" to Casas S Cristovao. First, the air conditioning is the biggest "plus" to the apartment. If you're not aware, the Alentejo heat can be brutal in the summer. Having the AC is a HUGE plus. Second, if you're staying more than a few days, having a washing machine to clean your clothes is also a benefit. Also, the architectural design is wonderful. It is a beautiful apartment, with exposed timber and steel beams. It is a visually appealing. And the hosts are extremely gracious. We had car troubles on our way to Evora, and the hosts allowed us to check-in a few hours beyond our original estimated arrival time.

Unfortunately, there are also quite a few drawbacks to the apartment. The apartment was not as "clean" as we hoped based on all the reviews. There were some small spiders on the bed when we first arrived. Additionally, there was mold inside the shower, which also happens to leak near the toilet. And the toilet button sometimes "pops off" when you flush. The bed linens and towels are as hard and rough as sandpaper. And lastly, some of the other guests also noted the stains on the couch and the broken drawers in some of the rooms.

Newly rebuild house inside the old town with great location. The apartment is big enough for four or five people with comfortable bed. We enjoy our stay very much.

Nothing

It was spacious. The location is good and it was well equipped.

There was no parking nearby. You could only park for a few minutes to unload luggage. For some reason there was a very badly fitting rubber sheet on the bed which crinkled and squeaked, it was like sleeping on a plastic bag! We were not informed that the washing machine is broken although the next day the host did kindly offer to arrange for our laundry to be washed (by that time we had already made other arrangements).

Beautiful, immaculate apartment in a great location.

Absolute nothing. It was perfect.

Very nice and well located accommodation, very clean and with a well equiped kitchen.

The host was waiting for us to give us all the instructions, including tips for the city and region. He explained us everything. And even before getting there, the communication was perfect! The house is clean, has an amazing light, and everything you can look for. I even forgot an item, and they promptly helped me. Hope to be back soon!

There is nothing that I could say that was not excellent...

spacious and light. Coffee machine was a bonus and all the amenities excellent, cutlery etc. It wasn't far to the centre, even for an oldie like me. Heating was good and essential in winter.

I had to go searching for towels, which were on the top floor - not easy for me to climb the stairs.
