Unser Ferienhaus in Strandnähe ist ein Haus mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 3 Bädern auf drei Ebenen, wobei jedes Schlafzimmer und jedes Bad auf separaten Ebenen liegen. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat Zugang zu einem eigenen Badezimmer.
Wir haben es vor ungefähr 10 Jahren gekauft und es innen und außen komplett umgestaltet. Die Küche hat neue Schränke, Granitoberflächen, rostfreie Gasgeräte. Das Haus ist natürlich sehr hell mit allen neuen Doppelglas-Vinylfenstern, -türen und -oberlichtern. Die Badezimmer haben neue Schränke mit Granitoberflächen, neue Waschtische, Lichter und Spiegel.
Wir bieten viel Spielzeug für drinnen und draußen! Fahrräder, Boogie Boards, Liegestühle, Sandspielzeug! Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Flachbild-TV, einen DVD-Player und Kabel-TV. Wir haben viele Spiele, Karten für die Familienzeit! Es gibt 3 Decks, auf denen Mama und Papa morgens ein Glas Wein oder Kaffee genießen können. Wir haben auch eine Terrasse mit Blick auf die Gasse mit einem vollen Tisch und Stühlen. Vergessen Sie nicht den Weber Gasgrill.
Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und eine eigene Terrasse mit Blick auf Mission Bay. Das mittlere Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelstockbett mit zwei Einzelbetten oben und ein ausziehbares Ausziehbett unten. Das untere Schlafzimmer hat zwei Doppelbetten.
Alle Matratzen und Bettwäsche sind von hoher Qualität und die Matratzen sind Sealy Pillow Tops. Wir haben Travertinfliesen in den Eingängen, in der Küche und in den Bädern. Es gibt 3 Decks und eine Außenterrasse, auf der Sie Kaffee oder ein Glas Wein genießen können.
Die Garage für 2 Autos bietet direkten Zugang zum Haus. Die Garage ist mit 4 Erwachsenenfahrrädern, 5 Boogie-Boards, Liegestühlen und Handtüchern ausgestattet. Das Erdgas Weber Gas BBQ befindet sich neben der Küche auf dem Küchendeck im zweiten Stock. Wir bieten eine doppelte 2. 4 Ghz./5 Ghz. Kabelloser Highspeed-Router, kabelloser Drucker, Fernseher mit DVD-Player in jedem Schlafzimmer und Filme (mindestens 25). Die Waschmaschine / Trockner befindet sich in der Doppelgarage. Auf Anfrage können wir zusätzliche Kinderfahrräder, einen Kinderwagen, ein Babybett und einen Hochstuhl zur Verfügung stellen.

Great house in the perfect spot in Mission Beach. Close to restaurants and bars, and of course the ocean and bay! The beach toys and bikes were great. Outdoor terrace was fun for evenings, and the bikes were great.

Great tri-level home. Lots of privacy for multigenerational family vacation. Generous amount of towels, and supplies for kitchen and bath. Lovely decor.

Opening Lockbox: difficult, Texted host. Got it open after a few tries. Updated lockbox would make things easier.
Shower fixtures need upgrades. Basement shower unit was very tight and needed a 'tug'. We used the shower in the kitchen area.
Kitchen: Nice upgraded well-lit kitchen. Could have stocked trash bin, bags, and disinfectant wipes in pantry. A recycling container in the garage would have cleared clutter in the kitchen.
Exit from rental: Any nuggets of information on street access, parking, and other to renters would ease the process.
Troubling experience: Got the car out and another family member closed garage, locked front door and waited outside to secure key in the lockbox (difficuly on entry)
I noticed in the rearview mirror that another car is parked behind us. Motioned this car to go around us - the driver did not move. Said to driver that we will move in a minute. This person did not respond. We did not know who is this person parked behind us. Immediately, another family member drove the car several streets over and double parked outside another home.
I waited in the car while he rushed to the house front door and got the key securely in the lockbox and rushed back. My sister said that the person entered the garage and went inside the house! Only then we realized that this is the cleaning person. This person could have mentioned she needs to enter. I texted the host that we have exited. The whole experience was extremely troubling.

We enjoyed the property very much. We were three couples and a baby, having each bedroom on a separate level with it’s own bath was ideal. Loved the very short walk to the beach and garage parking.

Me and my family really enjoyed out stay at this house. Location was amazing. One block one way was the Santa Barbara Cove and the other side of the road was beach & Pacific Ocean. Awesome because the other three with me had never been to a beach or seen ocean. They loved it.
We found a small convenience store that was like 5 minute walk from house (Little Sam's Market). Was able to get snacks, sodas, beer & liquor from this store.
Then we ate at Single Fin Surf Grill, which was right across the street from the house & so good. Then we did couple UberEats delivers from local places SandBox Pizza and EarlyBird Breakfast Burritos. Both places were so good.
The main reason we came to town was to attend San Diego Padres games. The stadium was around 20 minutes away from house in Uber ride. The food selections around the stadium are good and the food inside the stadium were also great!
Airport was also around 20 minutes away from the house in Uber ride.
The only downfall and something I thing the owners should upgrade is the TV in the living room. It only offered Spectrum cable and was pretty limited on the channels available. It was missing most of the sports channels. And didn't have apps like Netflix or Hulu or YouTubeTv available. Might be time to upgrade that TV.
But other than that the house was great.

This is a good location with both the ocean and bay within walking distance. Place was clean and just the right size for our group of four single adults. Sadly, there are several items that need renewing or repair in order for it to be top notch. Owners are very helpful and responsive! We would stay here again.

Perfect location between the bay and the beach with everything a family needs to have fun! Bikes, chairs, umbrella, beach toys, stroller, walking distance to amazing restaurants. Couldn’t have asked for anything else.

The location is perfect. There are great restaurants within walking distance. Rosemarie’s (across the street) was delicious. The Olive Cafe is great for breakfast. Arslan’s was a hit, too. The rental was clean and very nicely appointed. The hosts responded quickly to questions. Everyone in our party was thrilled with the rental. Truly a five star experience.

I was visiting San Diego for the first time to tour collleges with my kids. This was a perfect home base. Plenty of space for all. The neighborhood had easy restaurant access and was a block from a great walk along the beach. We were a quick drive to everything we wanted to see.

We were in San Diego for a wedding about a mile away. The resort that is was being held at was pricey so we found this place. WOW! It was perfect and had everything we needed. We'll definitely stay here again. The place was clean and quiet and had room for us to spread out. Had we needed it, the kitchen and grill were ready for us to cook. The beds and pillows were comfy. Loved it!

This is the second time that my family has stayed at Tom & Joanne's wonderful beach house. The house is clean, has all the amenities you need to feel at home. The location is fantastic, the BBQ is great, patios get awesome sun and the beds are comfortable! We hope to be back for a third time and would recommend this house to anyone, especially families, the layout is perfect!

Great place to stay. Was right in the area we wanted to be. Having a garage was nice, tight fit but works. Top floor bedroom has a skylight though so bring an eye mask if planning on sleeping in.

This was an exceptional VRBO experience. The listing was accurate. Easy access to both bay and beach just a few steps away in either direction. We loved the kitchen and it was well equipped with just about anything an aspiring chef would wish. Rooms on all three floors were comfortable and with each floor with its own bathroom made things easy.

Everything was great from communication to location to a well-stocked kitchen for our Thanksgiving meal. We’ll be back!

The location was perfect for what we needed. Close to the beach and the bay.
The beds were comfortable and plenty of space for our group of 7. As noted by previous reviews and the host, the garage is small. We had a suburban that we were able to park- however switched it out with two smaller SUV’s. It was definitely a tight squeeze for the cars but manageable!
If we ever find ourselves back in San Diego, we would love to spend our time here.

The place was in an awesome location. Walking distance to the bay, shops and of course the beach. There are lots of local convenience and grocery stores. Beach towels, toys and chairs were provided by the host. Everything you would need to cook and clean with are all there to use. Lots of private balconies and much nicer in person than the online photos.

Great location for Mission bay and Ocean surf , got a lot of use out the bikes for beach rides, with 2 families the layout and 3 bathrooms make it a nice stay for 2 families, worked perfect.

The place fit our needs perfectly. Our group was able to each have their own room and bathroom. Place is well stocked, plenty of cookware, blankets and pillows and TP, paper towels and trash bags. Plus plenty of beach accessories. We have always stayed on the oceanside of Mission Boulevard, this house is on the bayside. Was not inconvenienced at all walking across Mission to oceanside for the short walk. Walked to breakfast and lunch at local restaurants. Drank coffee on the patio every morning. Very quiet neighborhood. We are already our return next July.

Our group was grandparents, one adult daughters and her teenaged daughters. The sleeping space was perfect for everyone with the added bonus that each bedroom had its own bathroom. There were all the necessary appliances and utensils. The availability of beach chairs, towels, and beach toys was appreciated. Our interactions with the owners were 100% satisfactory. We met the cleaning ladies in the alley as we were packing up and they were delightful. All in all, this was a good selection for us this year. We recommend this home for a vacation stay.

Some of the furniture is showing signs of age but overall it was a nice place to stay. An issue is the parking in the garage, as one of the parking spaces is pretty small - we could not fit two sedans . The owner was pretty helpful at finding parking somewhere else in the neighborhood.

The property was centrally located—walking distance to the beach and close to San Diego attractions. The house provided privacy because of its three levels of sleeping quarters. It was clean and equipped with more than sufficient linens, towels, and other necessities.

Overall it was very nice place to say. But not the cleanest the fridge has left over food it in, every dish or anything we need to cook with we needed to cleaned first, the high chair was so gross has to be scrubbed down, the pack and play had a broken leg but was still useable . The host were great at communicating. The location was amazing but the garage is definitely made for cars and cars had a suv so it did not fit so trying to figure out parking was a joke.

Location was amazing - close to the ocean, the bay and shops/restaurants. You don’t need a car because everything is so convenient. Also the house had all the beach toys and towels you need.
House itself needs some updating as it’s pretty run down and furniture is crowded. The pillows are all out of life, couch isn’t comfy, broken tiles, bathroom sink is water damaged. Kitchen table is crammed into dining area so you can’t even move the chairs. Kitchen itself is very nice.
If you don’t mind a house that needs some TLC then this is for you. The location can’t be beat.
