This was the absolute best rental we’ve ever had. I was cancelled on extremely last minute on another platform for a very large group searching for a place to stay for a bowling tournament nearby. I reached out to Bobby and booked this property, and he called me to answer all my questions and was extremely helpful! I am so absolutely grateful that they were able to accommodate our 21 guests on such short notice. We arrived Friday night at various times and got settled in. The property was extremely clean, private enough and had plenty of room for our group to be comfortable. We really had a great time enjoying the dock on Saturday after bowling, and we had a couple first time fishermen (who had never even seen anyone fish before much less done it themselves) who ended up catching their first fish - both decent sized catfish, right off the dock! Both of them are now hooked on fishing and want to go again. We played cornhole and enjoyed each other’s company at the beautiful home. We didn’t end up using the pontoon or kayaks, but the water was definitely warm enough to if we hadn’t spent the whole day fishing! The host also recommended food from a small convenience store nearby the home and it was delicious - if you stay here and want a quick snack or meal, make sure to get some potato wedges and chicken tenders from the Elk Creek convenience store nearby! We absolutely plan to be back next time we’re in the area, and thank you again to Bobby for the hospitality & memories!

We had a great experience. This is a wonderful place, clean, well equipped. Great Lake front location. Secluded. I highly recommend this place. Owner was very nice and easy to communicate.

Had 15 of us ranging from 3 to 75. Tons of room to spread out, adventures for the kids, beautiful home and property, peaceful, quiet, had everything we could have wanted. Kitchen is well equipped, linens are clean and plentiful, beds are comfortable. Bobby was very easy to get a hold of and had everything taken care of before we even arrived.

Wonderful home and beautiful scenery - hope to be back!

We found this lake house very clean and accommodating. The children spent many hours swimming from the beach area near the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards too. The host was very helpful and responsive. We comfortably fit 8 adults and 10 children. Do keep in mind the higher accommodation number is because of quite a few bunk beds. We would definitely come stay again!

Great family vacation home. Very spacious and livable for a large family. The owner was extremely personable, helpful and responsive. The large property allowed our grandkids to play all kinds of outdoor games. The large private boat dock was the perfect launch platform for our boat.

They didn’t disclose that the lake was a cooling pond for the nuclear power plant and the water temperature was 100 degrees, you could not enjoy the water it was to hot.

This place is awesome! We had a family group of 20, ranging in ages from 5 to 87. Everyone had a wonderful time. The lake was a huge hit, with our little inlet being very private. Bobby, (the host) was very welcoming and easy to talk to. If we ever get back to Virginia, we will definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed here for the Fourth of July and absolutely loved the property. The house is picturesque, overlooking a beautiful part of Lake Anna, and the house is well appointed. The owner was very responsive, and could’ve been a more gracious host! We would highly recommend this for families who want the best that Lake Anna offers. We look forward to returning for future trips.

This property was perfect for our family of all ages. The house was well appointed and clean. The linens are done by a service and are folded and individually labeled in bags so you know they are clean. Great room for siblings and cousins. Master bedroom and bath is incredible including porch. Multiple porches for cooking and hanging out. One can see the beach and dock area from the house which is great for watching kids. Located at the end of a channel so there is no boat traffic to worry about with kids swimming. The water depth around the dock is great for swimming and most kids can stand. The beach is fantastic and the house comes with multiple kayaks and paddle boards and plenty of life jackets. The walk to the lake is flat, open (mowed grass) and short. between the house and the lake is a great space to play games, tire swing (awesome)! Plenty of parking and the privacy is fantastic. the owners were great and very responsive to questions. We cannot say enough positive things about this property and the owners. We come to the lake every year and this was the best trip ever and it had a lot to do with the property! Thanks so much for everything!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Anna. The house was clean, check in was easy and the owner communicated with us regarding any questions/concerns we had. The perfect spot for a big family to relax on the lake and have privacy and just minutes from the grocery store! We will be back!

Fabulous week! We enjoyed fishing, bonfires, playing games, cooking and spending family time together. Perfect location for a family vacation with plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space. The owners thought of everything from the well appointed kitchen to outdoor games to a linen service with fluffy towels and nice bedding. This is our second trip and will not be our last.

my family and i were looking for a central location to explore central virginia for a few days that had a large and inviting gathering area. this home was perfect for that. we were able to use the location as a spoke hub during the day and then relax as a group when night fell. loved it thank you bobby

My family and I had a wonderful experience. We spent Christmas together and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The home was very spacious and everything is new. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. It was kid friendly and plenty of different areas to not feel overwhelmed when traveling in large groups. Our host Bobbi was friendly and informative. We felt super welcomed. Everyone raved about how beautiful and cozy the home is. We are so thankful to the host Bobbi and Kattia.

20 members of our family shared a cherished and memorable Thanksgiving together at Casa de Lago. There was plenty of room and everything we needed there for our Turkey feast. The location and grounds were just beautiful, as we kayaked, had bon fires, played corn hole, horseshoes, fished, and ran all around with the little ones. They enjoyed finding acorns and throwing them in the lake, and wagon rides from Grandma. We saw Eagles and Cranes and truly enjoyed the nature around us. The only time we watched tv was to cheer on our Buffalo Bills to victory!! Bobby the owner responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. We all were thankful and blessed by this whole experience, and would definitely recommend to others!!!!!!!

The property is very well maintained, with new appliances. We enjoyed our weekend with friends and family and kids enjoyed the kayaks provided by the owner. Very clean property located at the lake.

This is our 2nd year staying at this property. We stayed during hurricane Ian so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor amenities very much but the house was cozy and nice. We had a wonderful weekend with family & friends, playing games and watching movies. Hope to come back again next year!

The property was even better than expected. It is a beautiful spot on the lake, very quiet, and lots to do. The house was well furnished, well equipped (including recreational equipment for the lake), and very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. We loved it!

Casa De Lago is the third house our family rented on Lake Anna in recent years. The property is beautiful, well cared for and we found everything as advertised. We had 8 adults and 8 grandchildren, from 7 to 16. Everyone was more than comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped and spacious and everything in good condition. We used the decks, the fire pit and the boathouse - all in good shape and comfortable. We rended the optional boat, and that was over the top for the kids and adults. One of the best properties we have used over the years, wether at the beach or the lake. The owner was very responsive, assuring we had a memorable vacation. A wonderful property for families.

We had a wonderful time at Casa De Lago. The accommodations were just grand for our family vacation 2022. It was our first time to visit Lake Anna or the area. We loved it!!! We will be back! Our host was wonderful and attentive to any questions and even extra needs we ask about! The house, boathouse, etc. was all very lovely for our family ranging in age from 2–66. We had Family members join us from two states meeting in VA. The house had everything we needed including most than adequate linens and towels. We enjoyed the canoes; kayaks; and wakeboards. The lake is so beautiful and inviting. The owner is helpful; accommodating and available when we had questions. All things were as described. Kitchen well stocked. I will recommend this VRBO location to my friends and family and hopefully be back ourselves. Thank you!

Great house with plenty of space for our group. Plenty of room in the yard for kids to play sports. Nice peaceful cove was great for fishing off the dock and using the many kayaks and paddleboards to enjoy the water. The owner was so helpful and responsive to any questions or needs we found we had during our stay. Would definitely look to return to this property in the future
