The house is exactly as described. Super convenient to the beach and all restaurants. Highly recommend renting a gas powered golf cart for the week. We enjoyed our stay so much and if we head back to the island, we will definitely stay here.

The home is very cute and so clean! My 3 and 4 year old girls loved all the pink! They called it the Barbie dream house because of all the pink. The home is very well appointed and equipped with absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay on AMI! The beach is a quick 3 blocks away and the back yard is very tropical with great landscaping and a new smaller pool. The pool was perfect for our girls learning to swim as it wasn’t too deep. There was road noise but we played music in the back yard when we were enjoying the pool and it made the road noise very reduced. All in all another great year on AMI!

Cutest pink house exactly as described. Location is perfect! The house is stocked with EVERYTHING. Susan is a five star host. During our stay there was a bad storm that caused the ac to stop working. Susan came over right away and had it fixed immediately. She’s as lovely as her pink house and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. Can’t wait to book this property again.

Our family of 6 comfortably stayed here and enjoyed the pool, games, beach supplies, and short walk to Holmes beach! The owner was super responsive (we only had 2 minor issues which were rectified immediately) We would definitely stay here again.

AMI Family Getaway
House had all the amenities my family could need. Space to spread out, comfy beds, well appointed kitchen, and a pool! I couldn't rate it 5 stars because of the location...its a corner lot on the main street, not included on the listing, and exact address is only provided after booking. We stayed over a holiday weekend and even though there is folage for privacy, there was constant traffic noise. Overall we enjoyed the island and will be back in the near future.

The house was roomy, had all conveniences and the pool was wonderful - spacious and clean. The area around the pool was very usable and even came with a bird’s nest and nesting birds. Loved it.

Home away from home
All the comforts of home with a beautiful patio and pool area and a short walk to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, very comfortable and roomy living space for two couples with everything needed for a day at the beach. We loved the pool most of all and look forward to returning next year.

Beyond Perfect
We had a wonderful stay at this location. Everything matched exactly to the listing on VRBO. Perfect location and space for our family to walk to the beach and a short walk to a few of the restaurants in AMI. Susan is an excellent host and immediately addressed a small issue with one of the showers that we noticed on arrival. We also have family in Bradenton which made it easy for us to get together and enjoy all that AMI offers. We will be definitely be staying here again in the future.

Fantastic House
The house was perfect for a family of four. Plenty of room so we all had our space when we wanted it. We used the outdoor pool several times everyday. The location is a short walk to the beach and you don't have to cross busy roads. The owner is a pleasure to work with and we would definitely stay there again.

Tickled Pink with Tickled Pink
What an adorable cottage! Perfectly themed for Florida Beach. The house was exactly as pictured, and just right for my family of 4. The beach was 2 blocks down the street (exactly 0.25 by my fitbit) with no busy roads to cross. Beach was clean and not too crowded. The pool was a relished haven to return to after the beach. My kids floated and splashed for hours. All the beach things you could need were provided(the cart was a little rusty so we didn't take it out, but truly that was the only thing that wasn't perfect).
The house itself was immaculately cleaned prior to our arrival. We felt comfortable, safe and at home. The kitchen had every pot and pan you would need, and a coffee pot that made the hottest cup of coffee I have ever had (and downright near perfect)! Location was great- quiet neighborhood, easy to get around.
If you want a small piece of heaven in a great location, do not hesitate to rent this property. The owner was super easy to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Perfect Getaway at Tickled Pink
We had the best stay at Tickled Pink. The house was in a great location (short walk to the beach) and Susan (the owner) was super attentive and responsive if we had any questions. The house was clean, had everything we needed for our family of four. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a wagon are all provided which made packing even easier! We would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The location for this home is absolutely perfect. We loved the proximity to the beach as well as its access to restaurants and other places such as grocery stores and shops. We just had a wonderful time at the Tickled Pink Cottage. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was so close to the beach! The pool was perfect for our kids when they were looking for some time away from the ocean. Susan was a great host and very easy to communicate with.

We checked into this beautiful home, that completely embodies the spirit of Florida. The home is clean and the yard/pool is stunning. You are a very short walk to the beach and restaurants. We rented bikes to get around the island, and loved every minute of our week! Looking forward to getting back to AMI soon!

Home with no stairs which was great for our 13 month old baby. Pool was perfect with large bench stairs that the little kids could sit and play on. Home had beautiful landscaping and a nice shaded front porch and was a very close walk to the beach. No baby accessories but local rental company was able to provide a pack and play directly to the home and it was waiting for us when we arrived. Kids loved the pink flamingo decor!

We have been coming to AMi for the last 4 years and love the island. We enjoyed tickled pink cottage. The home was clean and had Everything we needed. The pool was great however we were disappointed it lacked outdoor lighting to enjoy the deck and pool in The evenings. Overall it was a great location and home.

The house is very well located, walking distance to the beach. Very well equipped, has everything you need for cooking and serving (what was great during COVID times...:-). The pool is amazing!
The only downside was the check out time. I understand the new cleaning rules, but having to leave the house at 9AM was sad...

What a beautiful well decoratd home!
This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with lots of room for all of us. The open floor plan is great. The whole house is tastefully decorated and very bright. Everything was very clean and everything needed was provided. The pool with its private backyard is to die for. Getting to the beach is only a 10 minute walk from the house. We visited most of the local restaurants while we were there for a month. So very easy to get around the island. We plan to visit again next year. Thank you, Susan.

We had a lovely stay at Tickled Pink! The home and pool is very clean and has most everything you need to enjoy the island. Susan is very prompt to answer any questions and make repairs. Traffic can be loud as the home is next to a busy street. Overall a wonderful experience!

Stressful Setting Does Not Equal Relaxing Vacation
We were very excited about visiting and vacationing on Anna Maria Island. Read all the posted reviews and thought Tickled Pink Cottage would be a relaxing setting to enjoy with our family. We have traveled all over the world and unfortunately we were disappointed. We wanted a nice vacation that was stress free and from the moment we arrived it built very quickly and was with us our entire stay. We admit we arrived 45 minutes early to a clean empty house and brought in our suitcases only to be confronted 15 minutes later by an angry owner’s husband who preceded to yell at us. After verbally chastising us we left only to be called immediately by the owner and told we needed to pay an additional $200 fee or forfeit our entire vacation. We paid the fee and returned at the proper time…not a minute early!! Okay, we made a mistake going into the house but the reaction by the owner was uncalled for…it could have been handled in a more civilized way on the owner’s part. So, not a good start….

So many rules – the refrigerator was covered with house rules, book with house rules, and Post-It notes throughout the house with more rules - even what brand of toilet paper and how to flush….
Dirty BBQ – notified owner – was told the previous tenant had no problem using it, but they never cleaned off the crusted on food and grease…we didn’t bother grilling like we had planned.
Noise – although numerous notices about noise ordinance violations and the threat of fines, the house is next to a busy street with considerable traffic noise even late into the evening. We believe the noise level was well above the maximum daytime limit of 65 decibels and nighttime noise limit of 50 decibels that was spelled out in the house rules. In those rules the owner noted a whisper is 30 decibels. Bring your sound meter to make sure you abide by the rules. We were afraid to even sit in the backyard at night!!
Pool – it very nice but the owner said it would be cleaned and that was never done throughout our stay (and we did notify the owner about the pool debris).
Ceiling fan in living room – could not turn down the speed from max and the after notifying the owner the response was they would not fix it because of our early arrival.
We made sure we followed all the rules and left the house per all the rules. We were "Tickled Pink" to finally go home!

Perfect place for family memories❤️
I have stayed at Tickled Pink Cottage for the past 2 years now. It is everything you need when visiting Anna Maria Island. It’s nestled right in the heart of the island. Close enough to walk to the beach or hop on the trolley to enjoy some of our favorites: Donut experiment, Poppos, The Sandbar restaurant and the pier! The house has an awesome layout that gave our family of 5 plenty of space. Anything you can think of, from dishes, condiments, laundry and even beach chairs and toys are available for use. The pool is one of the best accommodations. There is a nice, private backyard with an outdoor shower. Nothing like coming back to the pool after a long day at the beach. We just love this house and have made some great memories there! House is always clean and fully stocked with essentials. Susan is so easy to work with and always gets back to you if you ever have any questions. I am so glad that Susan trusts her beautiful home with us and we can’t wait to come back next year!!

Holmes Beach gem
We stayed here as part of a family trip. The property is about 2 blocks from the beach. A delicious restaurant is walking distance also. It is located on the corner of a main road but this didn’t bother us at all since the backyard is gated. The noise and traffic were not bad at all. It’s a small island after all. The size and distribution of the house and pool were perfect. The house was very clean and had all the supplies you could think of. Susan was very accommodating as well. In summary, we would love to stay here again.

Tickled Pink was exactly what we were looking for! We love the location and the short walk to the beach. The layout of the home was perfect for our family and I really enjoyed all the decor. Everything we needed was provided and then some!!!

Great cottage!
Our family loved our stay at Tickled Pink Cottage and enjoyed every part of our stay on Anna Maria Island. We spent lots of time at the beach down the street, and also visited the beach at Bean Point, Coquina Beach, and checked out Greer Island (Beer Can Island). We took a boat tour of the bay with Paradise Boat Tours and saw a ton of dolphins! Our kids loved having their own pool at the house, and loved taking the trolley up to Pine Street. It was a great start to our family vacation and the kids were still talking about how much fun they had there when we visited Disney World. The cottage was just the right size for us, well equipped, clean, and an all-around perfect "home base" for our time on the Gulf.

Tickled pink about Tickled Pink Cottage
We stay on this part of Anna Maria every other year or so. We had a lovely stay here and would be happy to return again! Prior to our arrival, Susan was very accommodating and we appreciated the prompt communications. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked with appliances/essentials/beach gear. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms had plenty of closet space. We appreciated the clear and complete notebook of household and local information. The pool was too cool for us, but we still enjoyed relaxing by it and dipping our toes. The house is centrally and conveniently located. It is a five minute walk of several quiet blocks to the beach. Although it is on the corner of a busier road, the traffic did not bother us.
Our one suggestion would be to check basic cleaning/house supplies (paper towels, laundry soap, bath soap, trash bags etc.) between guests arrival as a "use it/ replace it" policy is encouraged and apparently the folks before us did not replace several items. Again Susan's on site manager was right on it. Thank you Susan for sharing your home!

Perfect Beach Getaway House in Central Location of AMI
My wife and I stayed at the Tickled Pink Cottage along with our 9 month old baby in March of 2018. We could not have been happier with our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 3 and could easily support a larger group. Susan and Larry are awesome and were quick to respond to any questions we had. They are great people and couldn't have been nicer. The house itself is an easy 2 block walk to the beach which we did every day. The neighborhood is also great for walking or jogging as we took the baby out for walks in the stroller at least twice a day. The house had everything we needed from kitchen supplies, to towels, to beach gear. We didn't do much cooking because there are so many great restaurants in the area but the kitchen could easily have handled cooking in. The house also has a front porch and a rear pool and patio so we sat outside at every night after the baby fell asleep on one or the other. Overall our stay was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and we are already trying to figure out when we can come back!

Perfect!
Our family of four with 14 year old twin girls loved our stay! The house was immaculate and just as described. We enjoyed walking to the beach every day with a cart to haul things that was provided, chairs included. Sunsets are a daily ritual. The pool was great for afternoons and even though it's not heated we found it refreshing and enjoyable in February. The location is great and really liked the Ugly Grouper down the road. Good food and entertainment and the staff was top notch. A great local find. Bridge street was a fun stop as well and bike rentals from Beach Bums. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. We left the island once and got stuck in terrible traffic. No need to leave, just enjoy all that Anna Maria has to offer. We can't wait to come back again! Thanks for the memories.

Amazing time at Anna Maria Island & the Tickled Pink Cottage
This was our first time renting a house through VRBO & we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The cottage was lovely, clean & exactly as pictured. The location was perfect & a very easy walk to the beach even for our 2 year old. The added bonus of a beautiful, private pool & outdoor shower made the experience even better. The house had everything you could need for a comfortable stay & plenty of beach items for both kids & adults. The section of beach near the house was very nice & never crowded. We also took a dolphin boat tour through Bradenton Beach Marina which we also highly recommend. We spent our last day at Bradenton Beach where we were lucky enough to experience Mantees swimming right by us.
Susan was responsive & so helpful during the booking process & to answer any quick questions during our stay. Our security deposit was quickly returned. We would definitely stay here again and are happy to recommend the cottage to anyone!

Had a wonderful time
We absolutely loved the tickeled pink cottage! It was perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. Nice and clean. Had a minor hiccup during our stay, Susan is very very prompt and had it taken care of in no time. We would absolutely stay again. Really enjoyed our time.
