Familienfreundliches Skihaus auf 47 Hektar in Andover, VT. Toller Rodelhang im Vorgarten. Haus ist gut für 2-3 Familien zu genießen. Viel Platz zum Essen für große Gruppen und Familientreffen. Es gibt 7 Schlafzimmer. Vier befinden sich im Obergeschoss (K, 2 Q's und Dbl) mit einem Vollbad und drei im Erdgeschoss (2 Dblls und 2 Etagenbetten) mit einem weiteren Vollbad. Erster Stock ist ein offener Grundriss mit 1/2 Bad, großer Sitzecke, Esszimmer und Kamin. Schöne Aussicht auf den Berg Okemo beim Sitzen vor dem Kamin. Große, umlaufende Veranda mit offenen Decks und überdachter Veranda. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine weitere Sitzecke mit Pool, Tischtennis und Tischfußball. Internet verfügbar. Kein Kabelfernsehen, aber HDMI-Kabel für die Anzeige von Fernsehsendungen vom Computer. DVD und Videorecorder vorhanden.

Amazing spot on the mountain looking directly at Okemo. What a view. The home fit us all comfortably and we had a great time outside on the grounds too. Spend some time here you will not regret it.

Large house in a rural setting yet relatively close to Okemo ski resort. It had plenty of space for all 10 of us, yet felt very cosy. One of our party is allergic to nuts and seeds and we very much appreciated that our hostess went out of her way to ensure the accommodation was safe for all of us. Several of us enjoyed the games facilities provided as well as being able to explore the local area and wildlife. The house was dressed for Christmas when we arrived which was lovely and we were able to cook a great Christmas dinner. We had a really enjoyable time, thank you!

Overall great property! Close to the mountains (15 min to Okemo.) Ample beds and bedding. Large property for outdoor games and many board games and foosball and table tennis. Roads are a little tricky with winter weather and a few are quite steep! Need to be mindful of water usage as it is sourced from wells and not city water. Clean and warm property!

This property checked all the boxes for our family vacation. There was enough space to accommodate our large family. The open living area made it easy for everyone to be together while still doing separate activities (tv, cooking, games at the table). The large yard allowed us to enjoy the outdoor space and gave us plenty of room to run. The fire pit was well maintained and we spent every night out by it.
The house itself was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials.
The host was very helpful and checked in multiple times to see if we had any questions or if there was anything that we needed!
This was a great house and we hope to return next year.

Spacious, quiet place with great views
We had 3 families total staying as 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 1-5 years old. The house was large enough for each family to spread out and have quiet areas for sleeping and nap schedules. Large common area away from bedrooms allowed for great indoor play for the kids. A great deck and yard area allowed for outdoor relaxation. It was great watching the sun set behind the mountains next to the outdoor fire-pit each night. Would rent again in the summer and seems like it would be great in the winter as well.

House was nice. 4 wheel drive a must in the winter. Well water was a challenge during our stay.. often without water but owner was responsive & tried to deal with it quickly

Great space for large family getaway
Our family enjoyed a 5-day stay in July at this property. We had many nearby options for daily outings (e.g. Things To Do list at horseshoeacrescampground.com). In the evenings we enjoyed puzzles, board games, ping-ping tournaments, and TV/gaming. The kitchen was adequately furnished for dining in. Joanne was responsive and helpful when we had questions. Lots of bug spray was needed in the yard near dusk.

Great couples ski retreat!
I surprised my fiancé with a long weekend ski trip and invited 3 of his best friends and their partners for his birthday. The house was perfect for our group and there was plenty of extra space for additional people that we didn’t even use! Only about 15 minutes from the mountain too! The living room is wonderful with lots of seating, beautiful fire, and board games galore! We had a blast, joanne was amazing with communication, and we hope to come back to visit soon!

Roomy Home with a Super View
Joanne's house was perfect for our group of 7. The adults had plenty of space to lounge around in the house, and the kids had plenty of room to run around inside and outside. The front yard offers wonderful views of the mountains and of Okemo. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, and the firepit areas outside.

We had a nice week kayaking,
golfing, hiking. Even though the power went out and we had one day at the house it was a very relaxing experience ... maybe because the power went out - it was a more relaxing experience. Contact with the owner was easy even when the power was out. Thank you for everything.

Amazing Long Weekend
The house was perfect for 3 families (12 total- 6 adults, 6 teenage kids) for us to get away and enjoy Vermont. The property is private with plenty of outdoor space with plenty to do only minutes away. We enjoyed activities during the day (hiking, swimming, kayaking, etc) and were able to unwind at the house at the end of the day by cooking out on the grill and relaxing by one of the two fire pits. It was just the vacation that we all needed to recharge our batteries. Joanne was extremely responsive to any questions we had. I can’t say enough about this property. We created memories that will last a lifetime!

Annual Ski Trip
We have been taking this trip for 7 years now and by far this was our favorite rental and we WILL be back. Property was awesome, the privacy was great and only 15 minutes to Okemo. The view of Okemo was more than gorgeous. We would watch the groomers on the mountain at night while sitting by the fire pit. Owner was very accommodating and detailed, checking in and out of the property was a breeze. Plenty of room and beds for 3 families. Adults upstairs, kids downstairs, and everyone meet in the middle by the fireplace in the great room. House was well stocked and well kept. Plenty of wood for fire place and fire pit. Was awesome coming back from the slopes lighting the fire pit and watching the kids sledding in the front yard. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Much thanks to the owner and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a Vermont getaway

Love Shack MLK 2020
We stayed at the "Love Shack" with family for the MLK weekend. The house was set up perfectly for our situation (grandparents, 3 families with 6 children). The main floor was spacious enough and cozy enough to enjoy spending time together by the fire/while cooking, etc. but the downstairs was a great place for the kids to have an area of their own. Our kids enjoyed the hill in the back for sledding and playing in the snow and it was a ~15 minute drive to Okemo. The property owners were thoughtful and attentive. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Joanne was a very attentive homeowner. We loved the downstairs living space which was big enough to support the number of beds that the home offered. Unfortunately our AWD SUV's tires weren't quite good enough to get through some fresh snow on the driveway. Beautiful setting.

Perfect house for a group
We had a great holiday weekend at this house. There was plenty of space for our group of 14 to spread out but also room for us all to be together. Very close to Okemo and The town of Ludlow. The owner was very responsive. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

Great Weekend Getaway of Seclusion
The home was beautiful and easy to find. The views were spectacular! The house was clean and prepared for our arrival, the owner was quick with her responses and ready to help with anything needed. Perfect VT Getaway
Stayed with a group of 6 for some R&R and rafting with Zoar on the West River. Fantastic location...away from it all but just a short drive to Ludlow for any major needs. The house is perfect and Joanne was super helpful throughout the process. The outdoor speakers are an awesome touch for grilling and hanging out on the deck or by the firepit. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Weekend in VT
Had a group of people in need of a place at the last minute for a golf weekend and the owner was exceedingly accommodating. She responded to my request within minutes and was very helpful in setting up the reservation.
The house is awesome, the deck has fantastic views of Okemo, first floor has a nice open layout and there are plenty of bedrooms.
Thanks again for having us and we hope to come up in the winter at some point for some skiing. Highly recommend renting this house.
