The cottage was quaint comfortable and enjoyable! The lanai was perfect for our afternoon meals etc. Plenty of beach chairs and things to use for out entertainment. Would definitely visit there again!

The location of the property was ideal, 1 1/2 blocks to beach, 6 blocks or so to St. Armand's Circle. All our provisions were provided for. In fact, when we asked the owner, Davidson, if there was a wagon to take our things to the beach, he said no, but I'll get you one. Which he did several hours later. We had a great experience.

Very nice house. We enjoyed St. Armands circle for shops and dinner. We were close to many beaches. All we really needed was a beach wagon. But overall a great spot😎

Great home on Lido Key. Very convenient to St. Armand's, downtown and Longboat Key. Beautiful neighborhood! We thoroughly enjoyed our walks around the wonderful homes, parks and beaches. Everything was spotless and the home was stoked with most anything you could need. Great place to stay. Thanks!

The house was exactly as advertised. Bikes, beach gear, everything you need. Very responsive owner who obviously cares for his guests. Would definitely recommend it to anyone

Davidson's place was perfectly suited for our stay in the Sarasota area. It was a family getaway for us (my daughter and her daughters) to visit my mom (their grandmother and great grandmother). The space was really clean and nicely furnished with more TV's than we could ever use! The cabinets were filled with all the dishware and cookware we needed along with lots of products for laundry, dishwasher, etc. The beds were all extremely comfortable and plenty of storage for our clothes. The screened patio was the highlight... breakfast and dinners were always out there because it was so spacious and had a backdrop of huge golden bamboo and other tropical plants that made it really enjoyable to hang out. Proximity to the beach and St. Armands Circle was great. We also did a kayak tour where the "put in" was literally a block away. Our granddaughters loved their first time in a kayak. So all in all, I don't think we could have done any better. Oh and I forgot to mention the array of puzzles and games along with sand/water toys and some bikes (that we didn't use). Loved our time and hope it will be available for our next time visiting Grandma!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location is terrific for walking to dining/shopping at St. Armand's Circle and walking or driving to the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, and it was great to have beach chairs and umbrellas at the ready. (Sadly, only two the bicycles were functional and we got no response from the owner to a question about the bike lock.) We highly recommend this cottage!

Owner very responsive to any and all questions in a timely fashion. Short walk to beach. Unit had everything we needed…even a welcoming bottle of wine!

This cottage was perfect! It was across the street from the beach, the bicycles were ready to go & worked well. So close to St Armand’s & traffic was easily avoidable. It was clean & big, fully stocked & everything was in great condition. We really enjoyed it & had friends come join us!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was close to the beach (I recommend walking to the public beach with the parking lot) and St. Armands Circle (~12 minutes walk). There were plenty of towels, linens and toiletries too. There were also a good amount of chairs and umbrellas for the beach. This house is unit 5 at the end of a narrow alleyway but we could comfortably park our vehicle. It is narrow so if you're bringing a larger vehicle be prepared to make a K turn to get in and out. It was not an issue after the first time and we had a Honda Pilot. Patio was a great place to sit at night with a beer and family.

Unfortunately, we learned of the red tide problem in the area after we booked. We couldn't go because we were concerned for the health of family members, as the air quality was bad. The owner promised us in writing to switch our stay to a different week he did not honor his word. After a week of trying to get calrification on a solution, he finally he changed his mind and wouldn't return the money or book a different week for us. It was a very frustrating experience!

Very cozy house with a great location.

The property sits at the end of a long driveway so you are not on the street with cars going by. It is very quiet at night. The excellent location is within walking distance to the public beach and to St. Armand's Circle. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well equipped. In fact the condo was supplied with everything we needed. The only negative that I can think of is that being an older woman, I found the 2 steps down to the 2nd bathroom troubling at night. My family and I enjoyed our three week stay at this condo.

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying here, as the property is located just a short walk to the beach and St. Armand Circle. Plenty of room for us all to sleep and relax after a long day enjoying the Florida sunshine! The den doubled as a bedroom for our oldest son and the washer and dryer were very helpful to have! The sunroom was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella which made our beach experience even more awesome! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great home.....walking distance to beach & town. They have bikes for use and we enjoyed bike riding. House set up is very comfortable...very clean! History to the house was fun to know. Highly recommend!

The home was great! Close to the beach a minute walk, close to park for kayaking and close to st Armand’s circle for restaurants, shops and entertainment. Perfect location, calm, safe. Everything you would need at the house.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was wonderful. Everything you ever need was in the kitchen. I'd give the place 10 out of 5 stars. I would call this a 3 bedroom as the den can function as a third bedroom. 1 block from beach. Book it!

This cottage included so many thoughtful touches and fit our needs extremely well. It was very clean, had a private screened-in lanai and a very well equipped kitchen (e. g. blender, ice bucket, a variety of utensils, pots, pans, etc.). It was very helpful to have the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for us! We love Lido Key and would be very happy if we were able to book this bungalow again!

On the whole this is well appointed cottage with top quality appliances, TVs, and WiFi. The color scheme reflects the soft colors of the palm trees, sand, and water. In a town known for its arts it is a delight to see original art everywhere in the cottage. The king size bed in the main bedroom and twin beds in the guest bedroom are very comfortable. We could have used more space for clothing—there is space there but the owners have done such a good job of ensuring that plenty of extra bedding and linens are available that storage spaces are sometimes filled. One drawback is that the only real dining area is out on the lanai. In cold or rainy weather the only other option is a breakfast bar with 3 stools. This is difficult for some to use and almost impossible for entertaining. The lanai itself is screened in and would be a lovely place to be if the enclosed back yard were as beautifully landscaped as the entrance. The two steps from the entrance hall into the main cottage and the configuration of the bathrooms may be a challenge for those with mobility issues. The public beach is a few blocks away and great shopping and dining are just up the street on St. Armand’s Circle.

We loved celebrating the holidays here. The cottage is well-stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Fully-fenced yard is perfect for dogs. Short walk to the beach or town. Very peaceful, laid-back island feel. Owners were very easy to work with.

As always, we loved our stay at Lido Key. The location is perfect as it is only few minutes away from the beach but also really close to all type of activities. The house is equipped with everything you'll ever need. The owner is extremely nice & really quick to respond. It was a wonderful 10 day vacation for our family.

Just a short walk to the beach ! The cottage was super clean and pretty well equipped in the kitchen ! A brand new outdoor grill , we used everyday ! The air conditioner worked great ! Very important in July !! I highly recommend staying in the little yellow cottage !

My husband, daughter and nephew stayed in this cottage for a week recently and it was perfect for our stay. The decor is cute, and the cottage was clean. I was there to visit my mom who had just gotten home from rehab and lives nearby. The location was perfect because my daughter and nephew (teenagers) were able to ride bikes to the beach, St. Armand's, etc. while I was with my mom. My husband spent a lot of time at the cottage reading, and it’s a very relaxing spot for that. My brother even joined us for the weekend and slept on the sleeper sofa, which he said was the most comfortable he's ever slept on. There was a brand new grill, which we used as well once or twice. The cottage is stocked with everything you need –well stocked kitchen with basics like spices, olive oil, sugar, cutlery and paper products, beach towels, chairs, a beach umbrella, etc. There are board games and books too, and 2 large TVs in the living areas, plus a small TV in each bedroom. There are even travel sized toiletries in case you forget something. The large lanai has a dining table that seats 6 or 8 and there are 2 lounge chairs out there too. We were there in June and it was pleasant out there in the mornings and evenings. It might get a little too warm in August, but there are fans out there so you may be able to enjoy it all year. We loved having a washer/dryer too. The only problem for us was that my mom couldn’t visit us at the house because there are a couple of steps to get into the main part of the house (you don't see this in the picture). I’m only pointing this out for people who have mobility issues and might have trouble with steps. That notwithstanding, we loved the cottage and would definitely stay there again.

This was a lovely home - even lovelier than the photos. The spacious yard was great for our 2 dogs. It slept 4 people comfortably, and 2 full bathrooms were great. The house was stocked with everything we might need, including plenty of towels and beach chairs. Because of inclement weather we ended up spending more time inside the home and we had a lovely time on the lanai and on the comfortable couches. If we are in the area again, we will stay again. The homeowner was attentive and left clear instructions on everything regarding our stay, including plenty of recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The house was on a quiet street, close to the beaches, a park, and St Armand's and downtown. Couldn't think of a more ideal stay!
