Great beach across the street, comfy bed and a nice quiet lanai for morning coffee!

We had a great time! The location was perfect and being right across the street from the beach was even better! Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly family upstairs. All in all, five stars!

We found the property to be nice and clean and well supplied. Loved being across from a perfect beach for swimming and family play. the grocery was near by and many good eating places in the area so we didn't cook in the unit. Nice outside eating area and car parked inside locked gate.

Many popular tourist attractions nearby, and a beautiful beach across the street. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing time being hosted by Kelly and wonderful and kind family. We felt so welcome and cared for. Looking forward to revisit and fish, hike and experience the Oahu North shore

Loved it! It was spotless and had every amenity—towels, hangers, dresser space. The location was unreal. Kelly was so responsive and kind. Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. The apartment is very nicely updated and quite comfortable. Also, it is extremely secure and private, as it is on a locked property. The owner was easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions and inquiries. They have several sets of beach chairs, snorkel gear, and other beach accessories available for guests to use, which was great since these are not cheap to buy in that area. Overall a great place for a couple to stay, and just a few steps from the beach across the street, and very close to the famous beaches of the north shore. What would be useful in the future is perhaps an extra hot plate for cooking, as it was a bit challenging to cook with only one, as well as some extra pots/pans. Would stay here again!

You can’t ask for a better place, small but perfect for 2-4! Perfect spot on the island and just great!

Kelly and her family were super accommodating. We loved that she had beach gear for us to use as getting on the beach was the first thing we wanted to do upon our arrival. We couldn't have asked for more for our stay. The house was clean, beds comfortable and we love the huge shower that awaited us after being on the beach. Parking is a big issue on the island so being able to park in their property and have the vehicle secure is an added bonus! We will recommend all our friends and family to stay here if they decided to visit the island!

The place is clean, comfortable, has all the amenities you need, and it’s right across the street from my favorite beach. What more could you ask for?! No stovetop, but a hot plate that worked just fine for us. There were even beach chairs and toys that made it more enjoyable. The hosts communicate in a timely manner and are very accommodating. Loved our time here, would stay here again!

This apartment is in a really great location in Laie, with a beach right across the street. The PCC is just a few blocks away! It's easy to go up north like to Turtle Bay and not too far when you want to go to Honolulu. The apartment is very small, we had 3 people and I would recommend only 2. There is AC in the bedroom and living room, but the kitchen and bathroom get pretty warm as there is no vent in the bathroom. The AC was out upon our arrival and after a few hours of it not cooling down I texted the owners and they changed the unit within hours. After that it cooled very nicely. There is no washer/dryer so keep that in mind if you are staying very long. They must not provide any fresh towels because I texted the owner several days into our stay asking to trade out towels and got no response. The patio is wonderful to sit outside and enjoy a meal, and the backyard is beautiful and private. They provided snorkels and boogie boards, but we were expecting paddle boards since they were shown in the pictures. It is a nice, clean little apartment that is nicely updated. Plenty of kitchen equipment as well. The did rent the upstairs to the house while we were there too, so parking could have been an issue with their 5 cars plus mine, but the renters were very nice to make sure to leave me one of the parking spots. It was overall a good stay!

This is a great apartment. It was actually a little bigger than I expected. The only downside was no microwave in the kitchen bit there were other appliances. The owners were responsive with questions and it was a great location. It was really nice to have some beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, umbrella, and boogie boards.

Nice, clean and quiet for a couple. Right across the street from a great beach. Easy parking for rental car. Lots to see and do in northern Oahu. Nice change of pace from busy Waikiki area. Close to Polynesian Cultural Center, a must see!

We loved out stay here. The only recommendation I have is screens on the windows for when it's nice enough to not use the ac. And a fan for the middle of the apartment bcuz the bathroom/kitchenette gets hot. And maybe some signage or directions to the apartment once you arrive. I wondered around a little lost for a few minutes We loved the location and the coziness of the apartment. It was a great home base for us and close to everything. I wish we could have stayed there longer.

Great location and was exactly as advertised. What we didn't expect was mold in the shower, no smoke detectors (and no one offered to come and replace it) and only two towels (someone did come and bring more towels after I contacted the property manager). And while the place was exactly like the photos, I didn't expect about 24 bottles of hotel shampoo, three large bottles of cheap shampoo (one is plenty) and a fridge full of used condiments and other stuff in the pantry. For some reason, the cheap bottles of shampoo and dozens of hotel soap was insulting to me. I don't use them when I stay at a hotel. Why would I want hers?? If the owner wanted to leave some shampoo, no problem. Leave one cheap bottle of shampoo/conditioner. But the tiny bathroom was FILLED with half used bottles of various products. I couldn't find space to place my toiletries. Another problem is the musty smell. I suspect the owner may not live in the upstairs (this was a basement studio) and contracts the housecleaning. Maybe the homeowner is unaware that the cleaning crew is doing such a lousy job. So to summarize our stay, we were pleased with the location and the AC, but we were terribly disappointed in the musty smell and lack of attention when we contacted the property manager. As a property owner, I'm quite surprised that no one rushed over to get us smoke detectors. There is a whole house above this unit. And I assure you, if a renter dies in a fire and the fire dept determines there are no working smoke detectors, the family would own that place. I'm hoping the owner was just unaware of these issues. We didn't contact her as she sent us a message telling us to contact her property manager as she was away from the home. We left feeling like the red headed step child tucked away in the basement.

We enjoyed our stay and the place is perfect for two people! Few things we had issues with....The entrance door to our room would not lock so we had to leave it unlocked every time we went out. The code works but the lock does not. You can manually lock it from the inside. Kelly was out of town and the number to call for help no one answered and I left a message but no return call. The upstairs AC drips over the entrance door so you had a wet mat and dripped on every time you walked in. The bedroom closet is broken and comes off the track. There is a sewage vent leak in the bathroom that needs to be fixed. AC filter in living room was dirty so had to clean it after that it cooled really well. Guess were in the main house so there was some noise at night. We loved having the beach across the road, secure parking, and very nice backyard to relax in. We would stay again and recommend this place but need to fix the things listed first. Access to a washer and dryer would be a plus.

Nice stay. Living room and dining are quite small but the bedroom and bathroom are full size. Had problems with the WiFi most of the time we were there. Wouldn’t recommend for more than two people. Overall a good experience, though.

I enjoyed the property very much, it suited my needs to a T! everyone was friendly, location was perfect for the beach. All beach supplies necessary in condo.

This is a super clean, and close to all the North Shore attractions. (Laie) PCC, BYU H etc. This was the perfect place for my wife and I. It maybe a little cramped with 3 + adults but Doable. The living room area is a little small, but you are never in the house much.( its Hawaii) It had everything we needed, most importantly a clean bed and a nice size bathroom. The gated parking is a very nice bonus!!

We loved everything about our two week stay. Location was perfect to North Shore beaches and 40 minute drive to Honolulu. The owners were very accommodating and so nice. Will recommend to family and friends!

The house is in a great location! It's right in the north shore located with beautiful look out points, beaches and tons of great food! The house itself is perfect! There is an outside shower when coming home from the beach. There is charis, umbrella, biggie boards, and snorkel gear!! Great place to stay!! We can't wait to come back ❤️🌴❤️

We stayed here a week while attending a wedding on the North Shore. Conveniently located, this place was perfect for the two of us. It was very well kept, comfortable, and fairly priced. There is a nice beach right across the street. I would recommend this place to anyone staying on the north shore who wanted more of a home-like setting.

Fantastic location right in front of Hukilau Beach. Very cute, and very clean. There were two rooms, one with a double/queen where I slept, and my daughter slept on the pull-out couch, which she thought was very comfortable. I was so incredibly impressed with so many details put into it - all kinds of products in the bathroom in case you forgot something - even sunscreen and bug spray! The beach chairs provided, and snorkel equipment, were incredibly useful for us. Adorable property with gate that made me feel secure. Wall and portable AC that cooled the place down right away. Walking distance to Huklilau Cafe, and short drive to Polynesian Cultural Center and LDS Temple, which was important to us. Family-oriented, quiet, nonsmoking property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My friends and I stayed here while exploring the North Shore and absolutely loved it! The rental accommodated 3 people comfortably. Everything you needed for the beach was there for you to use, and we were so grateful for that! Right across the street from the beach and short driving distance to all other amenities, which was very convenient. We were there in July and A/C was a life saver during the humid, hot weather. Wish I was back in Laie across the street from the Hukilau Beach. Had a great time in this simple, yet elegant, one bedroom condo.
