Quaint Cottage on Beautiful Torch Lake, Michigan
Das malerische Familienferienhaus verfügt über 120 'von privaten Fassade auf schönen Torch Lake. Klar, Kälte und Bunte beschreibt Torch Lake und hat als dritte schönsten See gemäß National Geographic geordnet worden. Das Grundstück ist schön angelegt. Ein Bach verläuft entlang der Nordseite. ein Dock mit einer Plattform und Treppenleiter ins Wasser, ein Schwimminsel, eine Terrasse mit Gartenmöbeln und einem Gasgrill. . Boot und Jet-Ski-Verleih über den See zur Verfügung. Die Hütte befindet sich am nördlichen Ende des Sees auf der Ostseite gelegen, mit atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergänge vom Deck! Torch Lake Sand Bar ist 15 Meilen nach Süden. Badezimmer vor kurzem renoviert. Master-Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queen-Size-Bett und zusätzliches Schlafzimmer verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten. Schlafzimmer auf Bach Seite, um einen angenehmen und beruhigenden Wiegenlied bietet sich schlafend zu fallen!

Property was a perfect private spot…
Very quiet and peaceful relaxing stay…
It was very clean and I felt very relaxed and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and I sleep like a baby 😊 I will definitely come back to stay again

The outside of the property is lovely! Cottage interior needs updating. Back screen door broken, pull out sofa bed broken and non-functional, kitchen needs updating.
Additionally, there was a miscommunication on their end which was handled poorly by the owner and caretaker.
Very disappointed and won’t be staying here again.

I spent a week here with my two sons, sister, and dog. The house had everything we needed. The boys and dog loved the canoe. We had fun relaxing on the patio and swimming. The landscaping and setting was beautiful and the sound of the creek was very relaxing.

My son’s family enjoyed their stay at the Green Cottage - with close proximity to the larger rental, it allowed privacy but the opportunity to be with the rest of the family. We are looking forward to renting again - thank you for a great vacation!

My partner, myself, and our 2 Frienchies stayed at the cottage the 3rd week of June 2024. We loved it!!! The weather was a bit mixed, and the lake was chilly. Beach is nice sloping sand and the grassy side yard was perfect for our dogs. The beds comfortable and listening to the creek as we were sleeping was soothing. The only wish list we had was not being able to dock a boat overnight. The cottage only has a mooring buoy. This end of Torch Lake is peaceful and quiet and about a 30 minute boat ride to the sandbar. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and are hoping to book again next year.

Property inside was outdated. Cabin had well water, which is fine and expected, except that it was rusty when you took the shower you smelled like rust had to buy bottled water to make tea and coffee. The screens were inefficient and let bugs in the house. Food in cabinets expired. Furnace sounded like a jet engine. Ceiling near the furnace had water damage and was painted over smelled like mold. Would have loved a lighter and fire starter for outside campfire.
Overall outside deck and dock water access was wonderful. Friendly neighbors. Quiet and beautiful sunsets. Outside area well maintained. A few
interior updates would make it perfect.

This was even better than expected! Beautiful sunsets! Right on the water. Hearing the waves lapping up on the shore while sitting on the deck was just so relaxing! Highly recommend this place to stay!

Very clean property on great lot, beautiful lake with big deck for lakeside relaxing. This is a typical northern Michigan cottage and close to grocery stores and farmers markets. Hoping to rent again.

Cabin was great - family also rented larger home nearby - so much of the time we were at the larger house. Nice accommodations and well kept. Looking forward to next year on the lake!

We stayed here for a week in mid July. The place is great in all aspects, clean and comfortable. Beautiful property. Everything we were hoping for.
Our downfall was that the owners were in town while we were there, nice people, however they accessed the property multiple times during our stay, which is not something we expected. we'd round the corner in the yard and people would be unexpectedly accessing the garage...They also used "our" dock (which we did receive a heads up on a couple of the times, but not all) due to their hoist being broke down a few houses down. Unfortunately between the 2 it did disturb our peace a bit and made our stay seem less private so that was a bummer.
Despite that, we would stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. It was a bit cold this week in June, so we didn't spend much time down by the water. The heat worked well but the furnace is quite loud, so consider that if you are visiting during cooler months. The location is convenient to traveling into Bellaire for shopping and meals. Communication was great and the cottage was very clean and comfortable.

This unit is in an excellent spot on Torch Lake. It is clean, beautifully landscaped, and perfectly positioned on the lake. We used the ceiling fans a lot as there is no AC but we really didn’t need it. We used mostly paper plates and throw away drink cups as there is no dishwasher. We took our own hand soaps for bathroom as we read they are not supplied. This unit is dated but adds to the charm. One bathroom and no ceiling exhaust - just know that ahead of time. We also took our own frying pan and coffee pot which we were happy about. Also there is no exhaust for kitchen cooking. We loved sitting outside on the deck in mornings and evenings and overlooked Torch Lake which was awesome. Our doggie really enjoyed his stay and swam every day. Overall this cottage provided us with what we wanted for a week on the lake. We would stay here again if just us two and doggie.

We had a great time with family and our dogs at this property. Some things are dated, but everything seemed clean. The lake was beautiful and the landscaping was immaculate. There was plenty of firewood to enjoy the cold nights around the fire pit. However, the furnace is very loud and is hard to sleep at night with it running. We did not have any hand soap in the bathrooms and could not find any under the sinks. There was only one kitchen garbage bag provided. We had to make a trip into town to buy our own soap and bags. Overall, we loved it here and we will be back. Thank you for providing us with a great family memory!

The entire exterior was great. Beautiful deck, dock with a platform, grassy area well landscaped, etc. I would rate the exterior a 5. Due to cool temps and rainy weather, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked.
The interior is clean but very dated. But we needed a puppy safe property and it met that need. Handsoap in the bathroom would have been nice, and the bedrooms could use curtains that close for privacy. (They have a valance only). Some of the bedding should be replaced. I grabbed a spare blanket out of the closet and was surprised to find it had many stains and was ripped badly. (It went right back in that closet!)
The furnace was extremely LOUD! We wore coats inside just to minimize turning on the furnace...that's how loud it was. But with high temperatures in the mid 40's to mid 50's, it was freeze or turn on the furnace long enough to take the chill out of the air.
If you want to rent in warmer weather and don't mind a very dated interior, I would recommend this property for it's great location and wonderful exterior options. I wouldn't recommend in cooler weather due to that furnace or if you prefer a more updated property.

We had a fabulous week in early September at Dawn’s place. Dawn was extremely communicative before and during our stay. Highly recommend for a peaceful time away on the water. Our dog loved it too!

Amazing house, beautiful lot/beach area, gorgeous lake! Host was responsive and helpful. Anything you could need is available in the kitchen, lots of outdoor furniture to enjoy the view. Lake is chilly, but so clear and beautiful it's almost unreal. Great beach area and dock. Our dogs loved fetching tennis balls for hours! Definitely recommend!

A few little things wrong but I couldn’t remember my vrbo password to contact owner, I did try a password on last morning and it worked! I reported what was wrong (I think other guests should have noticed and reported but didn’t?) and received wonderful response and apologies. I would highly recommend renting this, we enjoyed the beautiful setting and relaxed! Just what we needed!

We loved the cottage and the location which was right on the lake. It was clean and not updated recently but we were happy with the property. It was just what we needed to chill and relax by the water. We loved using the canoe and fire pit at night. The cottage was private and quiet with beautiful views for the large deck. I highly recommend it! Communication was great and manager answered all my questions promptly. Problems with Wi-Fi and tv so we had to wait a couple days for it to be fixed but it was fixed promptly in 2 days.

We absolutely loved this place! Owner was very nice, cabin was clean & just simply perfect. We loved that we could bring our puppy dog. He loves running up & down the beach. Beautiful place & would & will stay again…. 5stars!!!!!

Great location with beautiful sunsets. Big yard for the dogs. The property is secluded, no worries about neighbors. If I had to say on negative thing it would be that the beds were uncomfortable. Had to drive to Charlevoix to buy an air matress. Would still recommend and rent this property.

We realize property on Torch Lake is higher priced than many other locations but we would not rent this property again at this price because:
•The VRBO site said there was a canoe/kayaks and there was only a canoe with one of the oars missing a handle
•First impression was "quaint". Combination old and new but some of the important things were old
•Attention to details missing like toilet paper holder not connected to cabinet, handle off of closet door, no shelves or drawers in the bathroom to put stuff, the access to WIFI did not work, THE FURNACE IS BEYOND LOUD! AM I SHOUTING? WHY YES, CUZ THAT'S WHAT WE HAD TO DO TO HEAR EACH OTHER! :-o
•Garage was locked. No place to store our bikes or to access the washer or dryer (brought the bikes into the living room)

As noted the property was clean and bright. Swam in Torch lake and also Lake Michigan which is a short distance away. The sunsets were fantastic! The kitchen had every thing you could want. Used the grill quite often and it worked fine. Had a great week,Patty and Frank.

This is the 2nd time we’ve been able to spend a week at this home! Great for small groups. The owners are so great to work with and they welcome our pups who love the lake as much as we do. Our family loves Torch Lake and travel here every summer. The Hearns make it even more memorable.
