Perfect girls or couples getaway weekend location! Hiking in gorges and exploring little towns in proximity to the property. Also, the kitchen was perfection and had all the necessary tools for any meal prep!

The property is beautiful, inviting and is in a peaceful setting. We love to cook and found everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The wineries and breweries is easy to get to and fun most with gorgeous views as we enjoyed our libation. We recommend this home to all who come this way! I would love to return for another stay!

Jill’s beautiful home is just as described and everything we hoped for our 1st time in the Finger Lakes!! Close proximity to Cayuga Lakes west shore wine trail, Seneca Lake, & beautiful Hammondsport!! Super easy checkin/checkout process & the view is to die for!!

We had a great time staying at Jill’s house, wished we’d had a couple of more days. The view from the property was fantastic and the house had all that we needed to make our stay feel like we were at home. From making dinner in the kitchen to then enjoying our meal on the deck.

The house is beautiful and well maintained farm house. We fell in love with it immediately. Jill thought of every detail and each room was well thought out and planned. The location of the property is ideally situated between the two lakes Cayuga and Senaca and only 20 minutes to Ithaca and few state parks. We will definitely come back again and highly recommend to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed this summer weekend in the finger lakes. House is about 6 minutes to seneca lake and sits on a number of acres. Very peaceful. Owner Jill even acted as our Uber for the weekend as we were up for a wedding. looking forward to coming up again next summer.

Jill's house was in a very peaceful location. The house was very clean and comfortable; it was clear that Jill took a lot of joy in decorating and keeping it looking nice, with fresh flowers all around the house. The wrap around porch was great for morning coffee and butterfly viewing. Some of the logistics of our stay were a little more complicated than typical, but Jill was very communicative and quick to respond. I would definitely recommend!

We stayed for a week and really felt at home! Great location in the finger lakes - easy access to 2 lakes, wineries, and parks. We were able to be out and about enjoying our days in the area with a quiet relaxing place to come back to in the evenings. We enjoyed camp fires stargazing, eating dinner in the porch, and watching the hummingbirds and butterflies that were attracted to the garden areas! Slept with windows open and enjoyed the cool breeze and the sound of the nearby stream!

This beautifully decorated home is perfectly situated near Cayuga lake and in close proximity to Seneca Lake. My friend and I spent the early part of our days hiking at one of many parks in the area and our afternoons enjoying wineries. We cooked all but one dinner at home. I can't say enough great things about our stay. My plan is to come back to the finger lakes in the fall with my husband and stay in this beautiful house again.

We appreciated how well supplied the kitchen was and how the property allowed us to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Also appreciated how nice the appliances were throughout the house. Was such a perfect location, only about 30 min drive or less from all the parks we wanted to visit.

We loved the location of the house! Great central location for exploring the Finger Lakes.

It was very modern and super clean. The porch was gorgeous and the star gazing was breathtaking!

We enjoyed a great week relaxing in the quiet location. We were within 30 minutes of multiple state parks/waterfalls, wineries, breweries, and just a mile from lake cayuga. The house was a great place to spend our evenings with young children going to bed early. Jill was a great communicator and very accommodating to make sure we had a great stay. Our stay here was lovely. The house is beautiful, well-appointed and very much in the country. Over two weeks, we took advantage of farm stands that were very close to the house, and cooked just about every night, making frequent use of the grill. The kitchen was very well set up and eating on the porch and watching the birds and chipmunks (and occasional deer) was a very relaxing experience. The bedrooms on the second floor are very nice and the bathroom is huge. We worked from “home” for part of the time and the internet connection was strong. One magical experience was the making a fire in the firepit and watching hundreds of fireflies appear across the field and in the trees by the creek as evening descended. Also lovely was our trip to Sheldrake Point Winery which is about 5 minutes away. We would certainly consider staying again.

The farmhouse is extremely relaxing, comfortable and nicely decorated. We completely unwound. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the hummingbirds, toads, and other wildlife singing a beautiful chorus all with the gorgeous waterfall/creek in the background. Grabbing wine and cheese for our charcuterie boards before dinner with a cider house and winery less than 5 minutes from the house only added to the charm. We had trouble leaving and We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time at Jill's property. Everything is super clean, well-appointed, and spacious. Beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. The kitchen needs a mention: never have I stayed at a rental property that had a kitchen so well-equipped. High-quality pans and an excellent stove made all the cooking we did a pleasure. The grounds around the house are well-maintained with vistas of fields and trees. Just at the edge of the property is a mini-gorge and waterfall. Very Finger Lakes! We had a relaxing and super time. You will too.

We enjoyed the setting as it was so close to the lake, wineries, and trails. Cornell and Ithaca were 22 miles and a nice drive through the rural setting to town. We especially enjoyed all of the flora and fauna around he property: flowering shrubs, birds galore, rabbits, a woodchuck, deer, etc.

I cannot say enough positive things about this location and house as a whole. From watching the sunrise on the porch to cooking dinners in the chefs kitchen, our stay was ideal. The character of the home is not lost in the modern updates and it is only a short drive to wineries and restaurants on both Cayuga and Seneca Lake. My wife and I, along with the other couple who joined us, are already planning a return trip for next year. Beyond the property, the house, and its location, the owner is wonderful and very accommodating. We have been visiting the finger lakes for several years and this was our best experience to date.

Three of us had the pleasure of staying in Jill's farmhouse for four days. I chose her place based on the good past review history and its central location. It was our base for several bike rides and sightseeing trips in the region. The house is immaculate and it is nicely decorated by Jill. Sitting on the huge wrap-around porch we enjoyed relaxing and viewing the beautiful, spacious property. Jill is a very hospitable hostess who met us promptly upon our arrival. (She also had a plan for us to get in if the meet-up timing had been a problem...) Much of the house is newly remodeled. In particular, the new porch was a highlight for us. There was a place to sit on the porch and just chill, and there's a nice table on the porch where you can eat. With our cycling, we used the washer/dryer often and they worked perfectly, as did all of the other applicances. We are glad we chose Jill's property for our trip.

We enjoyed staying at the house very much. Clean house, comfortable beds, nice setting in quiet location, lots of trees in front of the house, birds singing ( there was a bird nest and a mom bird was busy to take care of little ones). The owner of house provided with some fresh farm eggs for us and we enjoyed them very much.

We are a family with 2 kids and we vacations at Jill's house in August 2017. The property is conveniently located within short drives of wineries, hiking trails, kayaking, horseback riding, and many other activities. The house is spacious and comfortable, but best of all, Jill was a wonderful host. Her recommendations were great and she was easily reachable if we needed her. The stay far exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

We shared the house with another couple and the house was amazing and extremely beautiful. The space is all new and the grounds were kept perfectly. We had everything we needed and more! Jill is an amazing hostess.

We loved everything about our stay at Jill's remodeled farmhouse. The house has been beautifully updated and decorated, making you want to stay for as long as possible. Jill was an amazing host and welcomed us on our first day, showed us around and had everything set up for us. As a group of 4, we had plenty of space and tried to take advantage of all the amenities of the house and property has to offer: from the beautiful porch over the remodeled kitchen and living room to the fireplace which is located just outside by the barn. And to top it all off, everything was perfectly clean. We are definitely planning on coming back.

Jill was a fantastic host with a perfect farmhouse getaway. The house is beautiful, cozy, and in a perfect location. Located within 15 mins of the Cayuga's wineries, distilleries, and Taughannok Falls state park. The Seneca Lake wineries and restaurants are only a 30 min drive. Favorite Wineries: Cayuga - Sheldrake & Cayuga Ridge Estate Seneca - Atwater, Lamoreaux Landing, Finger Lakes Distillery
