We had a grea time despite the consistant rain. Our hosts were very helpful. The accommodations were perfect for us. We spent a lot of time in the gym. We love New Bern. It was a great stay and it is on our list of top vacations deapite the weather.

This was a nice home to stay in for our holiday away. It was clean, activities on-premise, and close to shopping & places to eat. The beautiful sunrises and sunsets with a great view of the marina. They were very helpful in providing recommendations (BreakDay Charters, Kayaking, food, beach, trails, etc.). Thank you for the ideas and sharing your home!

Our twin sons with a wife and friend and the parents stayed at this lovely townhouse in lovely Fairfield Harbor in New Bern NC. We enjoyed it all even the tremendous thunder storm and torrential rain!

The owners are very kind and patient. We came to New Bern to celebrate my brother-in-laws 75th birthday. We went to Atlantic beach one morning & found lots of shells. The fort was interesting. I would highly recommend the Pelicans Nest to my friends.

We had a lovely stay. The unit was even better in person than the photos! The kids bedroom is on a separate floor which might be bothersome for some with younger children. A short 3 minute walk to the indoor and outdoor pool which our kids loved! Beautiful view. We had all kitchen necessities. Thank you!

This was a definate seaside Marina vibe. The decor was dated and cute. The record player was fun to show my teens. I really enjoyed the private deck off The Master Bedroom. It was a treat to see the Deer come out to graze on a few occasions. The hosts provided many extras and a store was a short drive away for extras we needed. If all elsed failed..."Take Out!"
Lastly, who dosen't rave about the top mini deck, and most of all "The View" :-))

This property was Amazing! We had the best time. It was super clean, very comfortable, wonderful scenery. Anytime I had a question the host responded immediately! They were proactive and on it!. When we checked out my grandson left an item behind. I was immediately contacted with an offer to mail it to him! Now that's customer service. I would highly recommend staying at the Pelican's Nest at Fairfield Harbor

Awesomely beautiful location overlooking marina. Great amenities like indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub. Rec center activities nightly that you don’t want to miss. Everyone was so friendly. Our host, Terri and David communicated quite often via text to check up on us and give us recommendations and answer questions. They did everything they could to make us feel welcome and ensure we enjoyed our vacation. Thank You!
Atlantic Beach is only an hour away, we loved Fort Nacon State Park - free parking! Would definitely pack suits and a lunch and head to Beaufort to take the ferry to Shackleford Island. Enjoy the ocean, Wild horses and beautiful and abundant shells. New Bern itself is a hidden gem. Great shops and restaurants. For local food we absolutely loved Sara’s Pizza. All in all we were extremely pleased with the location, the amenities, our hosts and their gorgeous location.

Nice place, convenient to New Bern, but far enough away to enjoy some quiet time. The home was nice and clean. Harbor view is nice. Outside mosquitos were a little rough, so we didn’t spend much time on the porch. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed here for a wedding at Amelia Grove. Nice home and perfect for us. Bedrooms we’re comfortable and it was much nicer than a hotel-we had a nice common areas to spend time together. A bit far from downtown New Bern (about 15-20 minutes) so keep that in mind.

Wonderful place. There are lots of steps, something to keep in mind if you are older or have children. Our only complaint was that there are stakes outside where you pull your vehicle out and your vehicle tracking device will not recognize them. On the right as you are backing out are stones. The only way to safely back out is to go over the grass on the left. He is the only townhouse with these stakes and they tore up our bumper. Ridiculous they are there!

We were very happy we chose this home to stay in, during our trip to this area. The house had all the comforts we could want in a home-away-from-home. The ample personal and kitchen supplies offered were much appreciated! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen easy to work in. The house was clean and the location perfect, close to the rec center, good walking, fun towns, and relaxing beaches. Our hosts communicated well and seemed quite nice. If we come back to the area, we would consider staying here again! And we highly reccommend eating at Sarah's....

It was very much as advertised. The property is in a very quiet area and about 15 min from New Bern. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and everything was in good order. We had a temporary issue with the AC that David quickly fixed for us. Hope to return one day!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this home. The marina is beautiful and the neighborhood was so peaceful. We enjoyed the pool at the rec center and did some fishing off the pier down the street from the house. Terri was incredibly helpful and an exceptional host! We had such a wonderful time!

Great Get Away - Close to New Bern
We needed a relaxing accommodation for family while we were preparing for and hosting our daughters 30th birthday party in New Bern. Pelicans Nest proved to be perfect. From the very clean and comfortable condo we enjoyed great views of the marina and its many sailboats. The kitchen was well stocked with the tools we needed to prepare appetizers and food trays for the party.
We also enjoyed relaxing in our downtime. The record player and collection of love vinyl records provided background music as we had a glass of wine.
The bedrooms and baths were clean, nicely decorated and comfortable, providing us restful nights. The balconies were perfect for morning coffee.
I would suggest bringing coffee (Keurig or ground) and your food and snacks as you come in. The nearest grocery is around 5 miles away.

East Coast View
Very nice property near the Marina and was very quiet. It took us about 15 minutes to get to downtown New Bern. Golfed at the local course Harbour Point which was a great and challenging experience. The children enjoyed the elevated house and multiple floors (crows nest).

The overall experience was fantastic. Scenery was great. Property owners were exemplary. We inadvertently left a 100 dollar curling brush behind, I reached out to them, offered to pay to have it shipped. But they found it, shipped it, didn’t charge me anything. Great people.

Great Place, Great Hosts!
4 adults and 1 teenager were in our group. The home was very clean and well appointed. The online description is accurate. The bunk beds were pretty small for our 13 year old, but he made it work and being able to use the bike made up for it! The neighborhood is nice and not too far from shops and downtown New Bern. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Check in and check out we’re super easy. The hosts were very nice and quick with all communication. Highly recommend this home!
