Had a great time with my family celebrating our Mothers 80th Birthday wonderful home with breathtaking views. Large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. Great stay great trip would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a exclusive serene getaway with plenty amenities. We will rent again for our next family vacation.

Eleven family members spent 4 nights at this oasis and except for a wedding and a grocery run we didn't leave the property. It is so unique and so much to enjoy. Although the property is close to a major highway, shopping, and restaurants, it's totally isolated. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor area; even in the misty rain we could all gather under the gazebo/bar area. The indoors was comfortable with enough room for all. Clint was easily accessible and right on top of the few issues we had. This is a great place for large groups. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, clean, beautiful, special. Plenty of room for large groups and lots of spaces for more intimate gatherings. Packed with unique features that keep everyone interested and entertained. Just made some wonderful Thanksgiving memories with our 15 member family. Highly recommend!

This was a fantastic property that exceeded my expectations. I will attempt to stay here whenever I return to the Burlington area!

My whole family was in from out of town for my daughter’s wedding. We loved having space for everyone but still all together. This property was ideal, spacious, and so comfortable for our multi generational group. Everyone wished we were staying longer to enjoy the on-site and nearby activities.

Not a good experience!!!! Pool Not usable, house need a good cleaning and extermination and the basement with 5 beds smells like mold. A hallway room off of the basement had pieces of wood and junk, a definite hazard.

The pictures on the app do not do this property justice. The way it’s situated, in a bamboo forest, you’d never guess you’re right by the highway. Our group had 13 (11 adults, a 4 year-old & an infant). We all slept very comfortably (my bed might be one of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in at a home share). The kitchen was very accommodating for our group, but I think the outside space was the best part. There’s plenty of outdoor seating with an amazing view of the pond. Our own private pool was amazing, and we used it every day. I’d highly recommend this property.

Our group of 11 and one small dog had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space, and such a peaceful, serene property! Our group enjoyed the wonderful pool everyday. We took a few day trips to go hike, grab a meal, or find an ice cream cone - but mostly we played board games and enjoyed a relaxing week with friends and family. The owners were very communicative when we had questions. If you are looking for together time on a property that has much to offer this is a great option.

We were excited to find a property that not only had a pool, but was located on a lake for catch and release fishing. The gazebo and tiki bar area located next to the pool was great for hanging out in the cool evenings while grilling out on the barbecue. The house comfortably slept the 11 of us, giving everyone their own space to stay up late or go to bed early without disruption. The pool table downstairs was enjoyed by all! The kitchen was well equipped with anything and everything we needed for our stay. There were more than enough towels in every bathroom, and even pool towels in the sunroom. Other than a trip to the grocery store we had everything we needed for our stay. If we had a negative thing to say it would be that the house is older and shows its age, and the second exit from the basement was not accessible in case of fire. However, it did not keep us from making some of the most amazing family memories. We cannot wait to stay again in the future.

This home is absolutely stunning from top to bottom. The private drive leading up to the house is magnificent, sporting a gorgeous bamboo forest on either side. The house itself is HUGE and amply fit all of our needs. The absolute best part of the whole experience was the outside pool area. There is a beautiful gazebo next to the pool and lots of space to relax. Nighttime is gorgeous, stunning views everywhere you look. We had a few issues with the fans and locks, however the hosts were very quick to respond. They were very easy to communicate with. There are other rentals around the area but we felt right at home and had a much needed friends getaway that was relaxing and full of fond memories. We will be back for sure to visit this lovely place!

My family stayed a week at the York's property as the Greensboro/Burlington, NC area was a good central meeting place for us coming from different areas. There were four families in total (12 of us overall) and the home had more than enough room for all of us. The positives: The entire property that also is shared with a few other rental properties is great and very beautiful. (The bamboo forest is no joke and makes the entire property feel miles away from anything). The flowers, landscaping, and gardens all over the property are beautiful. We spent nearly all of our time outside enjoying all the different outdoor spaces, canoeing on the pond, playing games in the large field, and relaxing by the large pool which was a hit with the kids. Carl and Rebecca were great hosts and responded almost immediately to any questions we had, and helped troubleshoot a few minor issues that came up during our stay. The house inside is overall very spacious, and the bedrooms are well equipped, however as others have mentioned the interior is a bit outdated and some rooms, furniture and appliances could definitely use some refreshing (especially the basement which was a bit dark and cold and didn't quite offer as comfortable a sleep/ indoor playing area for the kids as we had hoped from the pictures). Overall, though, nothing was too big a negative and you can tell that the owners have been making some recent improvements to the home (especially outside). All in all, we had a great and relaxing week and would recommend the home to any large family groups looking for a place in the area.

We take a family vacation every year and this was one of the very best . Great people to work with . A beautiful place to relax for us older folks, lots to do for the kids.The pool was awesome and we caught some nice bass and bluegill that we released. We hated to leave and we all agreed that we would definitely stay there again .

We were in town for my sons wedding and I wanted a place where all of my family could stay. The house is large and there was plenty of room for the five couples that were staying there. We really enjoyed the pool and outdoor areas. Thank you for a great stay!

The grounds are lovely and the layout of the house was great for the 12 ladies attending our retreat but the furniture and furnishings could definitely use an upgrade and the light fixtures and countertops could have used a better cleaning.

Lovely property! Spacious enough for four families. Comfortable beds. Plenty of parking. We loved it… We travelled to Burlington for a difficult occasion, and the owner very accommodating and helpful. Secret Garden - Hidden Treasure!

This home was perfect for our group (which included adults and teenagers) in town for a competition - plenty of room inside and out, beautiful and peaceful outdoor space. Would highly recommend!

We were a group of 12 staying at this property. We had a wonderful stay- fun to eat outside in a peaceful setting. We enjoyed canoeing around the pond. The hosts were attentive to our communication. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful and peaceful! My entire family had a wonderful time fishing, canoeing, kayaking, walking, swimming, reading, bird watching and bbq together. Another kayak or canoe would be awesome. A reminder to bring charcoal would be nice as we were expecting a gas bbq. The very large house met all our needs and was clean. The pond and pool views from inside the house or deck was gorgeous. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect home for our family from all over for a Holiday visit - plenty of room, beautiful outdoor space even in the winter. We will be back

Great Host

The view is idyllic and the space inside and out is wonderful. The kitchen, dining, and sleeping space was excellent. Owners were very quick to respond and answer our questions or needs.

A quick two night stay with friends meeting up from several different areas. The house met our needs as we were really only there at night. Outdoor space is great, however it was a little chilly this time of year to fully enjoy. House condition is pretty good and clean, however we noticed a few light switches didn’t work for the outdoor patio area. Also, I believe there was only one TV in the house. Not a big deal, but it could be nice to have a couple more in the bedrooms. Overall, great experience!

The home was large so everyone could have their own space. The beds and linens were extra comfortable. Lots of parking space but didn't look like a runway :) The covered parking was extra nice. The pool was so nice! Perfect for all ages and perfect temp for the end of September! The nature around the property made the spot even more relaxing. I recommend!!
