We fell in love this this property. There were 10 of us ranging from infant to age 70. There was plenty of room for us to spread out puzzling, playing games, plenty of sleeping space and we could all fit at the dining room table. We loved the big entryway for our outdoor gear. Sledding on the hill was fun! Beds were comfy. The kitchen was exceptionally well-appointed and we made all our meals but one. (Bierhall was fun for our one meal out!) Beds were comfortable and we appreciated how everything was labeled. Wow, attention to detail was remarkable. Thank you for providing the perfect place that helped make our extended family weekend so special and allowed us to focus on being together. Checkin was easy and communication was easy. Location was so convenient between skiing and town. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for getting back and forth to Stowe to ski as well as dining out. The house is spacious and comfortable. Towels and bed linens are great quality which is not what you always find at rentals. The kitchen had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed cozy fires. Highly recommend!

Lovely home with plenty of space in a very nice neighborhood in Stowe. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. A breakfast room with a fabulous view of the garden, woods and a pond.

Awesome property! Such fun was had by all sledding down the hills and enjoying the beauty of it all. Nice big house to accommodate all of us and great location- minutes from downtown Stowe and the ski resort. Would love to come back again!

We had a great time staying in Annette's family home. Very welcoming and comfortable everything was there including sleds and snow shoes for our grandkids to use and have fun. Very nice views comfortable beds. Everything is easy to find. well equipped. I'd return in a heart beat.

The house was very cozy and full of fun items and decor making our trip really feel like we went back in time to vintage Vermont. The location was very close to the mountain with pretty view. Annette was very easy to contact. Clean and very well stocked kitchen. We would go back.

We went in the hopes of skiing but the snow didn’t cooperate as we’d hoped (one good day on the slopes is still a good day.) The house was super comfortable, snuggly beds, and really convenient to town and the mountain. Very well stocked for all your baking/cooking needs. A real gem!

This property was a home away from home. It was a warm yet spacious home for our family of 5 adults and 4 children. Close to skiing and town. Great property for sledding and playing in the snow. Property owner was very responsive as well.

This was the perfect home for our family to get away together and experience some snow. The house was great with lots of space for everyone in our group (8 in all.) We had plenty of room to eat or play games together and also to be able to separate into smaller groups so everyone could do their own thing. We got lucky with the weather with lots of snow and having the sleds and snowshoes to try was so nice. Sledding down the hill was a blast for everyone, as we live in the south where we've never really had the opportunity to experience true winter. It was also super convenient to the charming town of Stowe. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this property!

The home was very cozy & well kept. Everything was clearly labeled & did not require much assistance. Excellent location for skiing, large enough rooms for comfort. Could not pick a more beautiful place to spend a Thanksgiving away from home!

This property far surpassed me and my families’ expectation. It provided old world charm, privacy and much needed solitude. The property was exactly as described with everything anyone could need as well as simplicity which is very important to us as a family. Would happily stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The property itself and surrounding areas are beautiful. If you are a nature lover then this is the perfect spot for you. There are even hiking trails just down the road at Wiessner Woods. The house is centrally located for all the activities and sights of Stowe. Annette is a fabulous source of knowledge for the Stowe area and kept us well informed during our stay. The house itself is very comfortable and cozy. We felt right at home. The master bed was very comfortable and we slept very well during our stay. Those windows overlooking the beautiful views of the property were are favorite feature. We also enjoyed the library fireplace. It was very hard to leave here! If we come back to Stowe we will definitely want to stay at this beautiful house again! This is THE place to stay! The house and property were absolutely perfect for our family vacation in Stowe. Amazing views on the property and just steps from the driveway. I'd argue the best in Stowe. The home was beautiful and provided the perfect amount of space with common areas for us to play games and sit around the fire. I could not recommend this property enough and we will certainly be back. The host is one of the best I've experienced. Very communicative and welcoming. I will be recommending this property to everyone!

All the amenities were there and drawers and closets were labeled. Annette is a great host and the property is outstanding and convenient to almost everything.

Beautiful Home - Convenient Location
We loved our stay in Annette’s beautiful, roomy and cozy home! The size of the house was perfect for our annual family ski getaway. In addition to being minutes away from the ski resort, there was plenty of other things for our adult children and us to do. One day the “kids” even took advantage of the sledding hill and did some snowboarding/sledding. A few also went hiking through Wiessner Woods, which is right down the street. It was our first visit to Stowe and I do not anticipate it being our last! Thank you so much Annette for offering your home as a vacation rental!

Amazing Winter Wonderland!
We absolutely loved our stay! The house is truly stunning and everything was perfectly labeled, so it was easy to find what we needed. We really enjoyed the sledding hill, and Annette provided sleds! Our family had a fabulous time. We'd love to stay here again.

Magical stay in Fall
What a great place for a Fall family get away. We had tons of fun in the backyard and despite the rainy weather were blessed by the lovely view of the pond surrounded by colorful trees. The house was perfect with several sitting areas and four spacious bedrooms. It was the perfect location close to Stowe yet convenient for day trips to other locations. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent location to immerse oneself for a summer stay in Stowe, VT. Accommodations were clean, well stocked with paper products, towels, misc. games for my grandson, etc.. In addition, if given the opportunity, we would stay there again.

The best family getaway ever!
With no exaggeration, this property and owner provided EVERYTHING our group needed and wanted, and more! We are a family of 7 adults and our beloved dogs, and we were all thrilled with our accommodations. The house is beautiful- thoughtfully and lovingly furnished and SO user-friendly! We felt at home the entire time. Plenty of space for everyone to eat together, an amazingly well-stocked kitchen and comfy and clean living spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms (that even had a designated space to put all our stuff!). Everything worked well and all is well maintained. The grounds are incredible, with gorgeous views and plenty of space to run, including a pond and a sparkling/babbling brook at the end of the yard where we all splashed! Enjoyed our outings to Von Trapp Family Lodge (loved the views, cows and new lambs!), Bierhall (great food and views), walk on the Stowe Rec path, the Sunday farmer's market and the great food and service at Salute italian restaurant. We will be back!!!

The house was cozy and comfortable with tremendous views and beautiful property. Plenty of room for two families and a dog.

Family Ski Month
We rented this house for a month to ski during Covid and it wonderful! The home is perfectly situated between the town of Stowe and the Mtn to ski. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and we enjoyed the 2 wood burning fireplaces in the home every evening while watching a movie of show. The land surrounding the home is great for kids to play. They can sled, hike in the woods, etc all right outside the home. Plus the added fun of dog sledding, snowmobiling and sleigh rides within 2-10 minutes of the house made plenty of adventures possible. We had a blast and hope to return again in the future!

Beautiful house and property
We had a wonderful weekend away with our two dogs at Annette’s house. The house and property is even more beautiful in person. The house is very clean and cozy and Annette stocks it with everything you could need to enjoy your stay. We especially enjoyed the swimming pond and listening to the brook while we sat out on the deck in the evenings. We can’t wait to go back and stay there again soon.

Magical setting, wonderful home
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Annette's property. She was a terrific host - available for help any time, but very respectful of privacy also. The house is roomy and comfortable - it feels like you're staying with a beloved relative or friend. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you need. Very comfortable beds and lots of roomy bathrooms. Fabulous deck with a view of the mountains and sunsets, spacious lawn and lots of toys. A really cool brook to explore, a swimming hole for hot days, forest trails to wander - it was wonderful!

This is a fantastic property. It is all that it is described to be and much more! Extremely well equipped, comfortable in an absolutely beautiful and convenient location.
