The view of the beach from the 8th floor.
A small pop up screen continuously popped up in the TV. I called it in and the maintenance guy couldn’t remove it from turn TV. He did advised that a couple of other rooms were complaining of the same thing. The maintenance guy took a picture of what was on the screen and advised that he was going to research it but I never heard back from anyone about that issue. I was there for 3 nights. Also the shower pressure was very weak. Also, after flushing the toilet, the chain inside of the bowl would catch the flap and wouldn’t allow it to close and after realizing the water wasn’t filling the bowl you have to slightly jiggle the handle for the chain to allow the flap to close so the bowl can fill with water. Lastly there was a Thanksgiving buffet that I didn’t know anything about at check in. I go down to the Compass Lounge ands was advised by the waitress that we had to make reservations to be allowed to enjoy the bigger. My guest and I were seated away from the reserved tables and ordered from the menu. After about a 45 minute wait, I advised the waitress to cancel or order. It appeared that the people with reservations were a priority. Again, I didn’t know that I had to make reservations when we checked in or I would’ve made reservations when I checked in. We checked in on November 26th and checked today, November 29th.

I didn’t like the fact that the two rock piles by the pool were not spouting a water fountain. We were wondering if they were broken or if they were only used during peak season?!

The breakfast buffet couldn't be any better. The food was excellent and was hot and extremely clean, with so many people eating around the same time.
Our room was 1219 and the barndoor for the restroom would not close, which took away privacy. However, the room was spacious and beds were comfortable.

I like the security features built into the facility. Took a little bit to get used to but after a couple trips from the room to the pool/beach it was really top notch. Also it was in a great central location--handy to just about everything we wanted to do while in PCB. The place was also super clean!
The double queen suite had 2 full size beds rather than 2 queen size beds. Wasn't a big deal since there were only 2 of us, but would have been a little cramped if there were more (say 4) of us. I also thought $20 per night parking fee was a little steep. Over all though, it was a really good stay.

The maid service was non existent. Half way through my stay I had to call the front desk for toilet paper and towels. The trash was overflowing to the point I had to start using the floor trash by the elevator. They really should have more than 3 elevators for the size of this property. I felt like my whole stay was waiting on an elevator. They do not disclose that parking is $20 per night . The ask you if you need a pass and then it is on fine print on the back of the pass. They have birds roosting in their garage that will leave a mess of your car. The pool chairs are so uncomfortable. Can’t sit in them more than a couple of hours. I could go on. Very disappointing

The view from the 12th floor was nice but that's it.
You have to rent everything.. floaters for the pool and all. The waterfall in the pool didn't work. No live entertainment, as they say. The whole time, we fought with the toilet being clogged from previous people that they left us a plunger. Getting ahold of the front desk was impossible. Had to go down to get toilet paper and towels.bwds were very hard. Frig was super small and couldn't stay cold would freeze up. Just a total train wreck

The pool was awesome. The beds are comfortable and room was very clean.
We tried to eat at the Compass Restaurant but waited 5 minutes and no one waited on us, we left. We gave up on the elevator after waiting 10 minutes and carrying our luggage took the stairs. This was not easy for me, I am 64 years old.

The entire facility was clean and welcoming! All the staff welcomed us with smiles. We arrived well before the standard check in time (10am) and were given a card to access the pool and other facilities until our room was ready. Which they were able to get us with in just a couple hours (which was a pleasant surprise!). The breakfast was fantastic and the staff kept it well stocked and cleaned. The atmosphere seems very open and geared towards catering to everyone's needs. Overall, just a wonderful experience! Will definitely recommend and return in the future!
Only issue (very minor) was the A/C unit seemed to have a small leak, and wet the carpet around it. It did not affect our stay and the room still cooled properly. We notified the cleaning staff as we were leaving, who informed maintenance.

Breakfast was decent. The pool was great. And the daiquiris were great.
Some of the staff was not friendly. They did not explain charges. Never saw housekeeping, we had to pile trash up. Our doorknob was half hanging off and we came back to our room door not being shut. There was a assumed homeless man who kept riding the elevator all night. The beds and pillows were horrible. I kept having random holds put on my card. I just did not love the stay for the price I paid.

I didn’t like it when the room next to us was blaring their music, screaming profanity words, and they were running up and down the hall screaming.
It would be nice for the front desk to tell customers that they have to scan their room key to access the floor their room is on.
I also think a different choice of meet for breakfast would be nice. Not everyone eats turkey sausage.

The hotel is nice and clean. The best part is the beach right out the back door! We’ve stayed here before and the stay was nice.
Not necessarily a dislike, but the free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Very limited. Eggs. Sausage. Grits. Waffles. Repeat. The dislike. Breakfast closed down daily at 9:30am! Come on now!
