Treasure Cay liegt auf den wunderschönen Abaco-Inseln, abseits des Trubels der touristischeren Gegenden von Freeport und Nassau.
Unser Haus liegt direkt am Meer mit Blick auf das wunderschöne Meer von Abaco. Wir haben 4 Schlafzimmer - die Master-Suite mit einem Kingsize-Bett und eigenem Bad, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten und ein Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Bett. Das Hauptschlafzimmer und beide Queen-Schlafzimmer haben französische Türen, die einen inspirierenden Blick auf das Wasser bieten. Es gibt auch ein Queen-Schlafsofa im geräumigen Wohnzimmer.
Das Haus hat einen offenen Grundriss mit einem großen Esstisch, einer Frühstücksbar für 4 Personen und viel Platz zum Ausbreiten mit zwei großen Sofas, einem Liebessitz und einem übergroßen Stuhl. Die Küche ist mit allen Geräten und Geräten bestückt, die für die Zubereitung köstlicher Inselgerichte und kalter tropischer Getränke benötigt werden! Die gesamte Rückwand des Wohnbereichs ist mit 3 Glastüren ausgekleidet, sodass Sie die atemberaubende Aussicht auch von innen genießen können.
Das Hauptbadezimmer verfügt über einen Doppelwaschtisch, eine ebenerdige Dusche und eine Badewanne. Das zweite Badezimmer hat eine große begehbare Dusche. Unser Lieblingsbad ist die Außendusche direkt neben der Terrasse. Es ist für die Privatsphäre eingeschlossen, aber offen für den schönen Bahama-Himmel.
Auf der großen überdachten Terrasse gibt es viele Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien, um sich zu entspannen und eine Tasse Kaffee am Morgen oder einen Cocktail am Abend zu genießen.
Das Dock ist der perfekte Ort, um einige der zahlreichen Meeresschildkröten, Sternfische, Stachelrochen, Delfine und eine große Auswahl an Fischen zu beobachten. Es kann zum Festmachen eines Bootes verwendet werden, wenn Sie eines in der Nähe des Yachthafens mieten möchten. Es gibt auch eine Fischreinigungsstation, wenn Sie einen guten Angeltag hatten. Es gibt eine niedrigere Landung, die den perfekten Ort zum Springen ins Wasser bietet.

We had our four adult children (ages 20-26, a couple fiancés and one girlfriend) meet us in Abaco for a total of nine people in the house. IT WAS FANTASTIC FROM START TO FINISH!! Everyone could eat together at the giant dining table and the kitchen was big enough for several people to prepare dinner together. We spent most of our time (when not on the boat) in the outdoor area which had both shade and sun and plenty of seating for everyone. It is located right around the bend from Treasure Cay Marina where we were able to dock our boat that we rented from Blue Wave in Marsh Barbour. This made it super easy to get every morning! This house also had plenty of bath and beach towels which you need with a big family. This was our first visit to the area and we will definitely be returning. The Crosby’s have a beautiful home in paradise and I would recommend it to anyone!

My friends and I stayed here for my 30th birthday this past weekend. The house photos do not give it justice. The house is perfect for large groups with comfortable beds, couches, lots of towels, and a large dining table for us all to eat at. The view is great and close to the harbor entrance, which was convenient as we had a charter pick us up right at the dock one day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The pictures do not do this home justice. The Crosby’s were so accommodating and responsive. This was our first international trip with the kids and I am so glad we picked the Crosby’s home.
Some words of advice: the entire island is still coming back from hurricane Dorian and is basically a cash only island. Either bring cash, or rent a car at the airport as the closest atm from treasure cay is in marsh harbor a half hour and a really expensive taxi ride away from the house. We ended up doing a boat tour with Captain Mark (actually we ended up with Captain Alton and we are so happy we did) which we should have booked for the first full day of the trip. Highly recommend.
I really appreciate the Crosby’s, and Jackie and Manuletha for talking us through all of the questions we had. We had a great time and are looking forward to visiting Abaco in the future.

What I am looking for when I book a vacation rental is that the property is more than just a place to spend the night, for that, I just book a hotel. Some properties become part of the overall experience. When this is the case, memories of the trip always INCLUDE aspects of the house we stayed at. THIS HOUSE is one of those which become part of the whole experience. From the location, the design, the decoration to the practicality and the multiple things to do just by staying at the house alone is amazing. And all this is just before you explore the area which HAS to include renting a boat. Another chapter can be written about that but I'd definitely recommend this house to stay in Treasure Cay. There's a reason why it has 5/5 stars.

Perfect house for a group 7 adults, 3 children. Amenities were top notch. Right on the water, short paddle from nice little beach. Owners were quick to respond with any inquiries.

Our family of 8 were able to enjoy this little slice of heaven for 6 days. You can kayak to the little private island across the way and enjoy some peaceful beach time.
You will need to rent a car if you plan to venture outside of town. But, if you don’t, Mr. Jackie can get you anywhere you need to go. And make sure you rent a golf cart to get around town. It makes it so much easier and more convenient.
We also rented a boat for the day and fed sharks, turtles and the kids swam with stingrays. We also went to see the pigs but the pigs were not all the hype.
Mr, Jackie also recommended a sweet lady, Ms. Brenda, who came to cook for us 2 nights. The absolute BEST food you will eat while there! Do yourself a favor and try her at least once.
My husband is not a big vacationer but he loved this place so much, he says we’re going back next year. (Fingers crossed)
The Crosby’s could not have been more hospitable and were so sweet to work with. If you choose this rental, you will not be disappointed with anything!
Oh, and we all loved the beds! The most comfortable mattresses to sleep on.

This was our 3rd trip to Treasure Cay, 2nd time staying at the Crosby’s. We love this house, and owners are great to work with. House has everything you need. The kids love the loft, such a cool thing to have in the house. House has beach chairs, beach towels…..we brought fishing poles and fished off the dock, we saw turtles every day; we all had so much fun. Beach is a short drive from the house, honestly the beach will leave you speechless. Kids found sand dollars every day. We’ll be back!

This property was incredible and I honestly feel the pictures don't do it justice! We had plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 children and could even fit two more couples if we had wanted. The home was well stocked, beautifully cleaned, and comfortable enough as if it were our own home. We met the gentlemen who manages the property and he was incredibly helpful as well as kind! We traveled by boat to the property. It was quite easy to find, the dock was perfect for our 34' Jupiter. We encountered dolphins, sea turtles, eels, a plethora of fish. It was a pleasant canal to kayak (kayaks were provided) as well as paddle-board (which I brought myself). We swam across the canal to enjoy the beach areas esp after a long, hot boating day. All of us were overjoyed with how great our stay was. We will, without a doubt, request this property again on our future abacos trips which we hope to plan every other year. Our visit included deep sea fishing, traveling to see the pigs, going to hope town lighthouse, firefly, nippers, grabbers, bakers bay, man-o-war cay and we also had one of the locals come in to cook up an amazing Bahamian style dinner with the fish we caught. It was perfection! Thank you to the Crosby family for sharing their home with us! 🇧🇸💕

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Crosbys' place - for good reason! The house is fully stocked and beautiful, the dock is perfect for tying up our boat, and the weather is sublime! The caretakers are always accommodating to our needs (a/c unit needed some TLC and was repaired the next day). We love it and will be back for stay #4!

Everything was as advertised and better. The owner communicated with us when we had questions and was very helpful. The house could not have been more comfortable and the back patio at night, with views of the tide coming in and out was unforgettable. We rented a boat at the nearby marina and conveniently docked it at the house each night. I highly recommend.

We loved spending our vacation in the Abacos.The vacation home was in a great location as the beach was close and we rented a boat to explore. My children, 5 kids ages 16-8, loved swimming across to the beach, looking for shells and exploring the clear waters each day.
The house was clean and well stocked, minus toilet paper. There is a market close by so we were able to take care of that. We were unable to access the wifi but disconnecting always lends to exploring more.
This was our first time in the Bahamas. Things that we found helpful were,
Rent a golf cart early
Rent a boat early or we did go with GusT and enjoyed our day. It runs about 1500 for the day.
We rented fishing poles and snorkling gear at Island Boys Tackle and Marine. They were extremely helpful.
Purchase food at Maxwells before leaving to Treasure Cay.
The bakery by the marina is amazing!

We enjoyed our stay. The pictures were accurate. I loved the view of the ‘lost beach’ across the canal from the house and the wide open view out over the sea. The blue colors of the different beaches there can’t be described in words. Beautiful
The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture and beds comfortable and very tastefully decorated. My favorite spot was outside in the shade sitting in the great outdoor furniture morning noon and night and grilling at the house but we did end up excursioning to the nearby cays Elbow Cay, Guana, Man Jack, Man o War and Green Turtle thanks to a dear friend there with a boat and tge ferry rides. Loved another excursion on Abaco to Cherokee and Pete’s Pub nearby. We truly enjoyed meals at Bahama Beach club and visiting the beautiful beach there. Golf cart was a must. It would have been great to rent bikes if we could have. Rebuilding in Treasure is happening and construction there is a sign of progress. Love this place. Thank you for sharing your oasis with us!

The Crosby house was very comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The only drawback is it’s 40 minutes from a grocery store so make sure you stock up before leaving Marsh Harbor. I would definitely recommend going to the seafood shop to get fresh lobster, crab, fish and tuna. This was a highlight for us! Having a golf cart is a must to see the area. I would also recommend renting a car if you want to see more of the island as the Taxis can be expensive. Overall a wonderful relaxing trip for our family! Thanks so much for having us.

Beautiful property, great hosts! The property is well stocked and has everything you would need on vacation and more. The views are amazing with lots of wildlife. The beaches are magical. This is the ultimate rest and relaxation spot and is highly recommended. We will be back for sure!

Treasure Cay get away
The Crosby House is a wonderful property for relaxing and rewinding as well as a staging location for off-shore adventures. The house was fully stocked including a Margaritaville blender that we took full advantage of! The house fit our group of seven nicely. The 2 youngest (11 & 12) loved the upstairs loft for hanging out and sleeping. Jackie and his wife were wonderful caretakers and provided transport to and from the airport. The Crosby's were also available by phone and text for questions throughout the trip and were INCREDIBLY accommodating to us as our flights were cancelled and they let us remain throughout the day and were going to change their plans to allow us to stay a few more days if needed. Great communication and accommodation. The only request would be more hooks in the bedrooms and bath. Except for the Master, none of the bedrooms had closets but there is ample wall space so would suggest putting hooks in these rooms for additional options with clothes, etc. Thanks for a great experience!

This is our second stay at this property. Last year, we vacationed with our children, but this time, it was just us adults. :) The house had everything we needed, from beach towels and snorkeling gear to every imaginable kitchen utensil! We rented a boat and hopped from cay to cay, enjoying great food and spirits at each! It is, by far, a perfect vacation home for the Abacos! We will definitely be back next year (or maybe even this year)!

Great week in Treasure Cay
The house way great. It had everything you could need. Lots of supplies and necessities. Was very clean and the owners were very helpful. We could not of asked for a better place. We spent 7 nights and had beautiful weather and great outings to the boarding islands. I hope the rest of Treasure continues to repair the destruction of Hurricane Dorian. Love Treasure Cay and we will be back soon.
Recommendations would be maybe kayaks or bicycles.

Missy & Richard’s home was better than the pictures depicted! Very clean & super comfortable. Treasure is a quiet town & afforded us the much needed week to reset & return home refreshed. The home is very well appointed, communication with Jackie the caretaker was a breeze & we only wish we had more time (& a little less breeze so that we could have utilized the boat rental more often) . You won’t be disappointed if you book this home!

We loved it, hours of night time entertainment feeding the fish and watching all the random creatures come to the light. We went for my 40th birthday (7 of us with plenty of room for at least 3 more people) and it was an adventure that i will never forget. Thank you Rickard for the amazing Accommodations and we cant wait to come back.
