Über diese wohnungUnterkunft
Ski-in & ski-out on Aspen mountain. One block from town.
Beste Aussicht und höchste Wohnung im gesamten Kernbereich Aspen. Aber es ist eine Wanderung dorthin. 70 Stufen - dritte Etage.

Had a great time at this Vrbo. The host was communicative and friendly! She provided recommendations for food and hikes! The location is fantastic and walking distance from downtown. Will be going back :)

Carols place exceeded all expectations and was a perfect home base for a weekend in aspen

This small condo met all our needs as planned hiking daily our main focus. Location to downtown was great to allow easy walking access to evening dining & all of downtown activities. The condo had a great master bedroom with private bath. There was limited closet & drawer space. The loft with twin beds was a difficult access for us. The small tight spiral staircase to the loft was a difficult traverse & bathroom far away. The owner moved one of mattresses to main level making easier access to 2nd bathroom opposite the door to master bedroom which was down about 8 steps below main level. There were the air conditioners floor units, one on the main level & one in master bedroom. Only fans were available in the loft. The condo air conditioning was adequate & the units were attached to plexiglass covering the only windows that would open, thus preventing the ability to open the windows. The units did keep it cool but fresh air would have been nice. This wouldn’t be a problem in the winter. The pool & jacuzzi were spectacular. The 70 steps up from parking lot were manageable & covered for weather protection. All appliances were new & kitchen well stocked, except no toaster oven but oven broiler worked fine. For two solo guys it met ALL of our needs and comfort with the moved loft mattress to main level. The condo complex was small and quiet. We did occasionally use the TV which had All of Xfinity channels. WiFi was flawless all week. This condo gets 4 stars overall.from 2 hiking guys

We stayed at this property for a summer wedding. The unit comfortably slept four, is neat and clean, and is well represented on the site. Our host was gracious, friendly and responsive. She communicated all the important details, and made our stay feel like a vacation.

Carol was a LOVELY, available and honest host! The condo was in a great location, close to town, yet a trek uphill to get there. The condo was a great size for two people and good amenities. The climb up the stairs multiple times a day is NOT for the weary! Be aware, please.
I wish in 12 days there, we had been provided housekeeping. I did enjoy very very much and had it have been on a lower floor or had an elevator, I would rent again.

This 3rd floor condo has great views, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, thoughtful amenities and is close to restaurants, the Saturday Farmer’s market and all that Aspen offers. It is also very quiet for being so close to everything. There are 2 room air conditioners that were very welcome during our stay. The pool/hot tub was great and the parking lot is more than adequate.
The owner communication was excellent and we were well aware that the building does not have an elevator. The steps are wide, covered and after the first day or so, not an issue. We would definitely return and enjoyed our stay immensely.

The condo was walking distance to the town, and the gondola. The neighbors were delightful too. We had a wonderful experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carol’s place! The condo is in a perfect location for walking Aspen. We were easily able to walk to City Market for groceries, all the dining spots, coffee, gelato, everything! The condo is on the top floor and as stated, it’s a hefty climb to get up there with your luggage. But so worth it! Views are fantastic!!!! The condo was incredibly clean when we checked in! Getting our parking pass was an easy process and plenty of spots right outside the building. We stayed with our two teenage boys, 13 & 15. There is a loft up stairs with two twins. Perfect for them. They had a separate bathroom downstairs which was great. The portable a/c units Carol provides were a huge bonus. There is one in the master bedroom which kept us very cool at night, and one in the living room. And there are extra fans provided. We cooked in a few nights and had everything we needed.
And Carol was amazing! She communicated so quickly from the beginning, answering all of my questions!! We will definitely be back to stay here!!!! Thanks for having us!

We lucked out with this bright & open floor plan. My wife and I are active 59 yr olds and we did not find the stairs to the top - 3rd level location to be an issue...especially compared to the amazing hikes 😊 The location is amazing as you look out huge windows or from your nice porch chairs toward a beautiful mountain. We walked .25 mi for a wedding at the Nell and 10 minutes to all the restaurants & bars. Parking was convenient in the lot. It was .75 mi jog to the John Denver Sanctuary & start of Rio Grande Trail (one of best town running/biking trails ever seen). It looks like you can ski right up to place. It took us :30 to drive to the Maroon Bells Trail (get a park pass in advance). The kitchen is great with a nice island and chairs. We liked the multi-level feel and made it seem even bigger. Great shower. We were too busy for the pool/hot tub but saw just the right of people enjoying it. This place blew away the hotel rooms of our friends that were twice the place. It could be the best value in Aspen.

We can’t say enough about Carol’s generosity, thoughtfulness and upkeep of her condo. It was fully communicated that her condo was up a few flights of stairs and there was no elevator but you don’t realize what that means until you’re dragging 50lb luggage up the stairs. :) When we got to the top it was beyond worth it. Breathtaking, literally and figuratively. Two weeks before our arrival she began communicating/sharing information about the town and the condo. The day we checked in we asked about a water filter and umbrellas and she brought them over within an hour. I appreciated her dropping the items off outside the door when we were into town. It made us feel like our privacy was considered (because clearly she had the ability to leave it inside). The condo itself is more spacious than we could imagine and if we came back with our kids it would be perfect. The loft upstairs and the two extra beds were a nice surprise. My husband and I loved having our own bathrooms next to each other. The shower was powerful and felt great after a lot of walking/hiking. The architecture was unique. Perfect location about .5 miles from downtown. All in all, we would absolutely stay here again.

We loved the location, about 5 mins walk from the center of town, and the views on the balcony were beautiful. The apartment itself was clean and more spacious than I was expecting from the photos.

Thank Carol! We hope to stay at your place next time we’re in Aspen.

Nice condo right in the core!

This was a wonderful condo within walking distance to the Aspen Ajax lift and to the Rubey Park bus terminal where you can catch a free bus shuttle to the other 3 mountains. Aspen itself is such a convenient and safe town and this place was at a great central location to experience it all. The place was clean and comfortable. It is on the third floor without elevators so there is a climb of three short flights of stairs which can be tough after a long day of skiing and with those not accustomed to altitude. But that gives you a great view of Aspen.
The place would not be ideal for little kids or those with disabilities due to the stair climb to the front door and there is also a spiral stair case to upstairs bedroom along with a short set of stairs from living room and bathrooms.
Otherwise it is a lovely place and would be a great spot for families with older kids or adults.

Nicely appointed condo with hottub for apres ski. Only a 200 yard walk to aspen/ajax gondola. Be sure to read the owners description about the 70 steps you need to climb to reach the condo. Toting luggage up the stairs was a challenge but otherwise nothing not to like

Ok…now that that’s out of the way…aside from the incredible location in the heart of downtown Aspen, this property is an incredible choice for your Aspen adventures! It truly is conveniently located close to the bus stop to easily jump between the other mountains, just a couple blocks from Belly Up and many other great restaurants and bars, and a ski in/ski out for AJAX mtn. Carol is truly a top host! Her communication was above and beyond, her unit was super clean, comfortable and accommodating and the amenities (hot tub and heated pool, free firewood, ski lockers downstairs, etc) were top notch. I would absolutely seek out this space for my next trip to Aspen! Thank you again for having us!

Carol’s property was just what we needed! We could walk to town, enjoyed the hot tub, and the view of downtown Aspen. Tons of stairs as described but was not an issue for us. Great stay!

We loved Carol’s condo! The views of Aspen and the ski in/ski out access can’t be beat. The condo was so clean and inviting. We had a chance to meet a Carol upon arrival and she was the sweetest! Can’t wait to stay here again!

We had such a fantastic stay! This was the perfect condo for our family of 4. It’s a great location in the heart of downtown Aspen near the Little Nell. During our stay in Aspen, we had our daughter in ski school at Buttermilk, which was a short 10 minute bus ride. The bus stop is conveniently located about a 5 minute walk from the condo. We enjoyed the easy ski out to the Aspen Mountain gondola, which was up a quick flight of stairs from the condo. We also spent a day skiing at Snowmass, which had a quick direct bus route from the same station by the condo. The buses are free and they have easy ski holders on the side of the bus.
We are most of our meals at the condo. There is a grocery store about a 5-10 minute walk from the condo and the prices are super reasonable.
The condo was just as advertised and I must say was ridiculously clean. Even the floor grout looked like it had never been walked on. The owner was always super responsive. The condo is on the third floor of the building, which only has stairs, but it wasn’t bad at all getting up and down during the stay.
I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Great stay and great location in Aspen. The condo was truly ski in/out though the trip back is definitely not a green run so you have to be comfortable with sharp narrow decent or side slide. Location was fantastic in terms of access to groceries, restaurants and shops. Pool and hut tub facilities were very nice. The condo is on the third floor which offers fantastic view of Aspen as well as the mountains across town. The third floor is a definitely hike up the stairs, but pace yourself and all is well.

Had a wonderful stay at Carol’s property in Aspen. Very spacious condo in a wonderful location that was walking distance to everything. Property was clean and had everything we needed. Carol was extremely helpful throughout the booking process and very communicative. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip :)

The unit was very clean when we arrived. We got all necessary info before our arrival. Unit was well stocked with extra towels/pillows, paper goods, and even humidifiers!
Getting the parking pass was easy, and even though the lot was small we always found a spot.
The unit is on the third floor, so plan for stairs (wasn’t an issue for us, but we are used to the altitude).

Great location, great property, and very personal service from Carol. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the heart of Aspen. Thank you, Carol!

The unit is clean, in a fantastic location and very helpful owner, with great communication. The unit is a little quirky in its layout and the stairs up to the unit are indeed not for the feint of heart, but those are small details.

Carol’s property was in a great location, easy walk to downtown (hilly, but a short distance). The condo was clean, cute, and had everything we could need. Carol was quick to respond to our requests and very accommodating. We would stay here again.

From the accuracy of the listing's description/photos to the host's superb communication, this was an absolutely perfect stay. The condo was pristine. The views and location great (easy walks to everything). The bed/linens super comfy. The hot tub & pool were toasty terrific (temps outside in 30s & 40s). And the host is among the best I've ever encountered. Immediate response, helpful, and friendly. Yes, the steps are a real thing. But you get better with each trip, so there's that. :-) And most of us are in Aspen to get outside and exercise, so consider the steps a private gym.

Condo was great, she is not kidding about the stairs though, you get used to it but they are tough! The three flights makes for a gorgeous view though so it was totally worth it. The condo was perfectly situated, the stairs up to the loft are spiral stairs and very narrow so I would be cautious with kids. They were carpeted though so, a slip might not be as bad. I stayed up there one night due to a snoring situation and it was very comfy.

Comfortable accommodations a few blocks from downtown Aspen. Great view across the Roaring Fork Valley. Never had to move my car during the entire stay.

We had a great stay. Property was perfectly located. Carol was quick to answer any questions.

There were a lot of stairs up to the condo, but the views were worth it. The location couldn’t be better with easy walking to the lifts, restaurants, and grocery store. My kids loved the pool and we found some nice biking and walking trails nearby. Also, I loved the high water flow rates from the shower.

We had a great stay- the place is comfortable and had everything we needed for a great several days. The stairs up are no joke but it was fine for us, and you can’t beat the view!
5.0 / 5.0
Carol was great to work with and the condo was very nice and clean. We greatly enjoyed the easy access to the city of Aspen and the close proximity to Ruby Park and the free bus service. If you are not familiar with Aspen’s altitude, definitely be aware of the uphill walk and three flights of stairs. They were less of a problem without luggage or groceries for these Midwestern Flatlander's who are not accustomed to the altitude.

Wonderful condo in great location within walking short distance to downtown and gondola. Super clean, uncluttered with great views. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect after skiing..

Great spot near everything. Carole was a great host and the entire process was seamless. Highly recommend! The steps weren’t that bad in my opinion.

Location is great, everything was convenient and hastle free. Host was very easy to communicate with. Overall a great place to stay for 4 people. Ski out, sorta ski in.. don’t let the hosts warning about the stair climb up to the apartment dissuade you. If you are in good enough shape to ski the stairs aren’t that bad.

Very nice. Close proximity to everything. Carol is wonderful
