Great pool, out door fire pit area was very nice. Great location to walk to downtown and beach. Only reason not a 5 is lack of tvs in several bedrooms, tvs very difficult to work, with no instructions.

The Ross House was a perfect destination for our family of 16 (10 adults and 6 children from ages 3 to 19) to meet from near and far! The house was so charming and easily accommodated us! The kitchen was well-equipped and the outdoor amenities exceeded all expectations!! The pool, hot tub, game room, fire pit and porches provided spots for endless activities for all members of the family. And, the location could not be more perfect -- easily walkable to the beach, the harbor, the lighthouse, multiple playgrounds as well as the quaint downtown shopping/dining area. There could not be a more perfect location to enjoy all that South Haven has to offer!

We had a wonderful time. The home had plenty of room for everyone to gather and relax. We would love to come back another time!

We couldn't all be together for Thanksgiving so wanted a central location to gather and play games and be together. This spacious house with many bedrooms was perfect.

We love this place. Pool, hot tub, pool table, basket ball, fire pit, large kitchen to prepare meals, large table for eating and games, large living room. You never need to leave except for the beach and a dinner out.

This was a perfect place for our family of three generations. We loved having the pool and hot tub, the fire pit and seating, close proximity to town and the beach. The garage had lots of fun things including a few bikes for our use. We would have loved having an additional refrigerator for drinks and overflow. We all love to cook and the fridge was packed the entire time. Also, grab bars in the bathrooms would be great to have ( we have a handicapped family member). Thanks for a great time!

We loved the location of this property and of course the pool which was the main reason we booked it. But as far as what you get for the price, we were disappointed. The house is old and out dated. Things didn’t work properly (door handles, lights, peeling wallpaper/paint) The house itself, decor and landscaping could have used more attention. We arrived to the home with every trash can full to the brim and had to wait 2 days for garbage day. I guess we expected more for the amount of money we paid. But, overall the best part of it was the memories that were made with our large family on vacation for a week. South Haven is a special place for us and we will be back!

Being 2 blocks from the beach AND 2 blocks from the town were huge positives for us. The listing does not show a picture of the actual pool, but do not worry about this - the pool is AMAZING. In the house, we did have an issue with a spot on the floor that was clearly getting wet from something beneath it... a leaky pipe? The property managers were VERY responsive and had someone look at it right away. They were also very patient/understanding with a mistake we made with leaving a hose running and kids getting into spots they weren't supposed to go... What is worth noting for this property is that being an older house, MOST of the bedrooms do not have a closet. There are some dressers, but a couple of hooks on the backs of doors or on the walls (that you can put hangers on) would really make it nicer. Also, as is common in older houses, it might be worth being aware that it isn't an open floor plan. The living room, for instance, where we hung out as a family, is around several corners from the kitchen. That being said, the bathrooms were spacious and nicely updated (except the master bathroom, that was a bit tight), lots of fluffy towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The house is beautiful and easily fit our family reunion of 15 people and 3 different families.

This house altho expensive truly was perfect for our extended family! So close to the downtown, river, beach -and the pool was a huge hit with everyone!!!! I’d come back tomorrow if I could!

This property was everything we were hoping it would be! It was a quick walk to South Beach and downtown. We loved walking on the Harbor Walk with the kids to watch the boats! The house itself had plenty of room for my family of four, my sister's family of 4, and my parents. Also, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained when we were just hanging out at the house. My 6 and 8 year old boys loved playing basketball and the yard was big enough for catch! We spent our days swimming in the clean, heated, salt water pool and the nights roasting s'mores around the fire pit. Beds were comfortable and everyone seemed to sleep well! I would highly recommend this property. It has everything your family could ask for!

The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay!

The house was great - it is huge, has 7 bedrooms and lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the basketball hoop and playing pool in the garage area, though the garage was full of a lot of pool supplies so it was pretty difficult to navigate - getting to the ping pong table was very difficult. The house was decently clean but we did find more than one left over sock under the beds so that was gross. My main issue was with the property management group. When we arrived there was some one in the drive because the hot tub was broken. He wasn't able to fix it so they sent someone out the next day. The maintenanc person they sent was planning on emptying the hot tub into the yard while we were there (I only found this out as I went outside and saw the hose from the tub into the yard). We asked them not to because we didn't want the yard to turn into a swamp and freeze over at night (we were with 4 kids and 2 dogs). He called the the management company to let them know of our concern and then he left. I then called to request a late check out (check out is 10 am) which I had previously called about but they told me to call back the day before leaving. There was no reservations for that day or the next day (I checked) but they denied my request because they had to fix the hot tub. Which I found a bit ridiculous given it was not our problem the hot tub was broken but it became our problem. Then on the day we were checking out, we were unpacking the house, it took a bit more time (we had 4 kids between 5 and 8 and two dogs) and we were about to head out around 10:30 when I got a call from the property managers saying the cleaning people had "driven by 3 times and were waiting for us to leave". We were clearly packing our cars and trying our best to get out, so I found this a bit distasteful. All and all the house was great and it was easy to access I just felt the property management company only cared about getting us in the house and not necessarily ever having us come back. They were more concerned about the next client then the current one.

Management was very responsive.

We rented this home with 3 families—kids ranging 9-17. Had a wonderful stay. Perfect location with plenty of room to spread out. Kids loved basketball and hottub, parents loved fire pit. Thank you!!

We did a scavenger hunt on the property, morning walks into town or the beach, loved the hot tub, fire pit was lovely, everyone had their own room, the living room doesn’t have blinds which was a little fish bowl-like but everyone walking by seemed used to it. We had the best time.

The house was perfect for our large group and you can't beat the location.

Property was perfect for our family. Close to the beach/playgrounds as well as shops, grocery store and boutiques. Absolutely loved the pool and hot tub! Corn Hole was an extra bonus.

Great location to beach and downtown area. Very much enjoyed the pool and fire pit. Plenty of space for the family to spend time together, inside and out. Extra fridge nice to keep drinks cold without using fridge in kitchen.

This was our first time renting. The home had everything we needed. The location was excellent.

We had such a great time at this house. Our extended family of 11 people went and we were so pleased with the Ross house. The pool was fantastic-the kids spent all their time in it. The hot tub was great. The house was amply stocked with pool floats, toys, games and everything you could need to make the stay comfortable. The kitchen was great and there were plenty of areas to eat inside and out. Our favorite part was making nightly fires in the firepit and sitting out until late. The house was located close to town and walking distance to the beach. It was the perfect place. We hope to be back.

The house was everything we wanted and more! Great location, plenty of room, every amenity we could have wanted. The pool was great and our entire group - from ages 4 to 75 had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay again.

Our family was very pleased with our stay here for a weekend in September. We had everything we needed and loved having a private pool and hot tub. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night. The game room was just ok, but we had such nice weather that we preferred to be outside. No complications and we would stay here again.

The property was great! Very nice house which easily accommodated our large family ( 8 adults/1 child). Location was perfect - walking distance to beach and town. The house had many amenities - beautiful heated pool/with many floats available for use, hot tub, fire pit, game room, hammock, nice size yard and porches to relax on. The house was well stocked with kitchen accessories, towels, cleaning products, etc. We would definitely stay there again!

The property had many perks! The lit patio with fire pit was a hit as well as the hot tub and heated pool. The salt water pool was very warm into mid-late September. The kitchen had every utensil we needed. We had 5 women cooking at one time and didn’t feel cramped. The yard games and BBQ were an added bonus as well. We had 14 girls staying throughout the weekend and this house accommodated everyone. Having 4 bathrooms was a huge help! My only disappointment was not having a common space big enough for us all to congregate. The house has two living rooms and two dining rooms right next to each other where we played various games but not enough room for us all to be together. Other than that, amazing! Would love to book this earlier in the season for a family weekend or another girls trip so we could enjoy the pool on warmer days. SO close to the beaches and boutiques. Loved it!

Everyone in our group loved the house. Beyond the fact that the house was in pristine condition and included thoughtful conveniences, its amenities made our trip a pleasure. The hot tub and pool worked well, we grilled and played bocci on the lawn, and the patio lights were beautiful. Also, management was very helpful and attentive in ensuring a great stay.
