As City folk, it was weird at first how dark and quiet this home was at night but everyone should experience this kind of calm. The owners are fantastic and everyone was so friendly in the neighborhood. I definitely recommend this place.

The cabin is very cute and cozy. But the downstairs shower did not work (had to use bath only) the coffee maker didn’t work, beds were not made so we had to make them when we got there. Also had issues with washing machine. It is in a great location and we’d like to stay there again! Hopefully issues will be fixed for the next guests!

There was dog hair and heavy amounts of dust around the furniture and corners. The dishes in the dishwasher were dirty upon our arrival. Overgrown plants covered the walkway and a few of the outdoor steps felt like they were rotting. Overall, we enjoyed the area, but we would stay in a different property.

I have stayed here twice in past 2 years while in Clemson for games or other events. Close to campus, quiet, and sleeps 6 comfortably. Owner had prompt communication, accurate listing, and easy-to-follow expectations and directions. Would definitely stay again when visiting Clemson!

This was a great place to spend with family. The owners had games, videos and a beautiful rec room. Many card games around the kitchen table. Very relaxing place... log cabin. We loved staying there. Owners very responsive and wonderful to work with!

The pictures don't do this little cabin justice. It is super roomy and well lit. It was clean and well taken care off. The view is beautiful and we didn't hear any neighbors at all. Ample size cabin.. Would of preferred more lake view and community access..Cabin needed a thorough cleaning..Dust...AC filter needs replacement..We still had a lot of laughs and memories to hold..

The cabin is in good shape. It looks better in photo but very comfortable. The bonfire is a plus. There is not much to do walking distance but 25-45 min away of different waterfalls. Would be nice to have at least shampoo in the bathrooms.

This is our fourth time using Homeaway, and have never had a bad experience. The cabin was nicely decorated and the owners did a good job at keeping it clean. It was myself, wife, two adult age kids and two dogs. We lots of luggage and gear to unload and was a bit tough going up the path to the stairs, but it's a cabin in a rural area so it was expected. There was deer in the morning at the top of the hill one morning when taking the dogs out. Restaurants and activities are close by, yet far enough to be a quiet relaxing stay. Plenty of room downstairs, which we didn't use because of the dogs. Had an issue that I couldn't figure out that the owners took care of immediately. Great experience and stay.

Enjoyed our stay. Lots of room and furnished with everything we needed. Somewhere I missed that it was two stories with a basement. The master is on the second floor with a good while flight of stairs. My husband had recent surgery and was unable to carry suitcases. We probably would not have chosen a two-story cabin. Also none of the beds were made up when we got there . The sheets were laying on the beds. That was a bedtime suprise, Especially the top bunk and bottom bunk for grandsons. All in all was a nice place to stay.

3rd year in a row... Love it!

Great cabin,spacious,all you need for vacation

We stayed for 6 weeks in the Kraus cabin and it was delightful. the views from the loft we're just lovely and everything about the cabin fit our needs. The location was perfect, close to town, the lake, parks and hiking. The cabin is located right next to the common area for the neighborhood and since we brought our dog, it was so convenient for exercising and pottying her. The cabin had everything we needed ( including a large dog crate) and the gas fireplace was a delight on the cold days. The Kraus' were available for any questions we had. We would definitely recommend it to anyone interested.

We had a great family vacation at this cabin in Seneca. There was an ample amount of choices to choose from for food an activity. We enjoyed our time and loved experiencing this new location. Beautiful waterfalls to visit. We did not give this cabin 5 stars due to the ghost like footsteps heard constantly throughout the cabin. There was a lot of banging and what sounded like steps in rooms where no one was in and it gave us a couple of stressful times. Overall, the cabin was great! But beware of hearing things in the rooms.

Parking and driveway situation very odd and difficult. Perfect for four people - more than that would be a challenge. Stayed for a football weekend - easy drive to campus. Not too far. We’d stay there again for a game.

It's a nice cabin with three levels to relax in. Family room with games. This cabin has plenty of rooms to chill in.

Cabin was quiet and cozy. Clean place and everything you need. We loved it.

Cabin was just as described and was great to rent for the week. The cabin is not as large as some of the ones we have rented in the past, which we were aware of; our family of 7 had enough space with all having beds to sleep on and enjoyed our stay at this comfortable cabin. There are views of the lake / mountains through and over the trees from the 2nd & 3rd level. Mattresses were comfortable, which is not always the case in rentals. Cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood on a no outlet road; we only saw a few cars on the road all week. We did not get to use the fire pit or grill due to rain for a few days, but the rain made the waterfalls even more awesome to witness. One waterfall that we visited (saw about a dozen) was named twin falls, but on our visit it was clearly a powerful triple falls due to the rain. This is a fantastic area to vacation in and around; there are so many areas to visit and things to do within an hour. Stores and restaurants are close (within 12 minutes). The owner communicated well with us and our time at the cabin was fantastic. We saw a deer on the grass hill on the side of the cabin. We have stayed in this area a few times before and there is so much more to do and see than can be done in a week. Some of our favorite outings were: Church, Lake Keowee (several times), Teccoa Falls, Whitewater falls, Twin falls (roaring triple with the rain), Issaqueena Falls, South Carolina Botanical Gardens at Clemson and Tallulah Gorge (last but not least - especially if you get 1 of the 100 free permits a day to hike the gorge floor and slide down the natural water slide - strenuous with a couple thousand steps / rocks but well worth the effort - photo opportunities abound). Lake Keowee is a beautiful lake to boat, kayak, swim (water was actually warm) and fish in. Overall, it was a blessing to spend quality time with family in and around God's beautiful creation - we recommend this cabin.
