We had a wonderful family getaway, and will definitely be back! The location is amazing - easy walk just a block to the beach with all the amenities, and a super relaxing stroll to all the restaurants and shopping. We had a car but opted to walk everywhere, even with an infant and toddler. The pool and hot tub were a great bonus when we needed a break from the sand as well. We were extremely impressed with the responsiveness from the management with some questions we had as well - very friendly and super quick to respond. Thank you for a great trip!

Great place for a family especially with young children, but we did not understand that it’s three floors up. Updating the kitchen and bathrooms would be huge. I was warned about the next door renovation but we weren’t expecting it to be so noisy at seven in the morning. Other than that, we had a super time.

This is not the place if you are looking for a party weekend. It is perfect for families tho.

The listing said it had beach access but unfortunately the stairs are broken currently. Also a heads up, you aren’t permitted on the beach patio with a view, it’s for permanent residents only.
There was tons of rules , which Made me nervous since I had teenagers but the property was so nice. The other guests were very friendly and the hot tub and pool were great additions to the beach.

We booked this property for a pseudo family reunion between 2 families to come meet my cousin's new baby/ family who live in Encinitas. The location is fantastic, the property is just about perfect. Having a bathroom for each bedroom is ideal especially with 2- teenagers in our large group of 8. We hosted Easter dinner at the property and comfortably prepared a meal for 12 people although we had to get creative with the slow cookers but we pulled it off. The only opportunities for improvement would be for the owners to provide more dish towels for the kitchen and replace the uncomfortable sofa in the family room. This was a wonderful property, perfect for our group of 2 adult friend couples, 2 teens and 2 kids. Kids shared the 3rd bedroom, and each couple had private bed/bath. Lots of common space and fabulous hot tub/pool. We only saw one other person swim the whole week. Location cannot be beat, great access to food, gelato, coffee and beautiful beaches. 100% would return. Sand/beach toys, large garage with 2 spaces and generally clean common spaces. Lots of stairs!

We stayed at this condo for 5 nights, January 18-23rd, 2023. The condo is incredible! Way more space than we expected! The 3 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms were perfect for our 2-family group that included 4 adults and 3 kids. The kids shared one room and adult couples had their own rooms. The views were incredible and being able to open the doors and listen to the waves crash was so relaxing!
Working with Eileen, the property manager, was very easy. Especially when we contacted her a couple days before our planned arrival to see if we could add an extra night on the front-end of our trip to get out ahead of potential weather issues. She was able to accommodate us on incredibly short notice.
Our only issue was that there wasn’t enough toilet paper left for the length of our trip (we had 3.5 rolls for 7 people across 6 days). While we recognize that we may have to replenish some supplies occasionally, toilet paper was expected to be one of those. I’m sure it was an oversight on the part of housekeeping.
Overall, we would highly recommend this rental property for anyone traveling to the San Diego area!

Great location and comfy family friendly environment for a small reunion. Kitchen fully stocked and 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms worked well. Easy walk to beach and downtown Encinitas. We had a wonderful time !

Great location with only a 2 minute walk to Encinitas' best beach. Located on the second floor of the ocean side, the condo has a good view of the ocean and there is built in safety due to the building being set back from the cliff. Nice and comfortable interior with the three bathrooms as a plus. It has two balconies. The balcony off the master bedroom is nicely sized and offers a good view of the ocean side recreational amenities.
The only minor issues are the four access key situations (main entrance gate, parking area door, condo's garage door, and key box to the condo front door) that can be a bit confusing and the condo access is via the stairs to the condo's third floor location on the street side.

I highly recommend the stay!!! The stair case to moonlight beach was closed for repair during our stay; however it’s less than a 3 minute walk - a very lovely walk within the neighborhood - to the main beach area. So it really was not a big deal at all. In fact the walk is nice!!
It’s also a prime location, you can walk (and suggest you do) to the downtown area where there are many cruising and bar options. We had a very great time and would come back again!!!
The home was clean and perfect for a group of adult friends/couples to stay together and still have their privacy and private bathrooms. Many home good items are provided and we really cherished the nice “welcome” gift from the property!!
The clean up request before departing was clear and reasonable. Thank you for a great stay!

If you are OK with 1980's decor, than u will love this place. The wall to wall carpet in the master bathroom may have been the trend in the 80's.. in modern times, tile is the norm. Imagine the germs in the carpet around the toilet!?
A little investment by the owners would go a long way in making this a solid 5 star VRBO property!!

We had our family including adults and children. The place is in a fantastic location and the pool, hot tub view of the Ocean and the pool patio area was excellent. The unit was large and easily slept 8 of us and had everything we needed. The only reason we did not give a 5 star rating was that the cable did not work for most of the time. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and location with easy walks to downtown Encinitas.

This is our second time at this wonderful place. It has amazing views and a great location. The beach has lifeguards during the summer. Restaurants and shops are a short walk away. The washer and dryer was much appreciated when vacationing with kids. Enough beach towels for everyone in our group. Eileen was very responsive answer any questions prior to our trip.

Perfect place to stay near Moonlight Beach!
My family and I loved our stay at this condo. Very short walk down the hill to moonlight beach, easy walk to town. We never had to take our car out once we got there. Speaking of which the garage is HUGE. I was surprised to see such a big garage by the beach (usually they’re a very tight fit). The condo was very comfortable and quiet with a great view. Great communication from the management company. Can’t recommend this vacation rental enough and we definitely hope to return.

Great trip. Lots of stairs so make sure your up to lots of exercise. Overall beautiful place, property, just blocks to rocky beach & shopping. Great play area for kids. Wagon & beach toys included which was great.

We enjoyed our stay at the "Hamptons"
Pros: this condo is spacious and has a great view of the ocean. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The condo had everything we needed in the and included chairs and umbrella and beach toys to use at the beach. The location is very close to moonlight Beach. The washer and dryer was very nice and new and worked great.
Cons: the condo had been cleaned but there were smudges on the windows and dust on the furniture and fixtures. Some rooms we're lit only with lamps so you had to go around and turn on all the lamps to get light. Some of the furniture is very out dated as well as the carpet. Two of the bathrooms had carpeted floors. There is no way to access the beach stairs so that should be removed from the listing as an option for accessing the beach.
All in all we enjoyed our stay the location was great. Something to note there are a lot of stairs and a steep hill coming back from the beach so if you have someone in your group that struggles with hills are still stairs that might be an issue. It wasn't a problem for our group.

This was a perfect vacation condo for a family of 6. We brought our 2 sons and daughter in laws and each couple had a very private space with their own bathrooms. The condo is very spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed sitting on the balconies and watching the ocean and the sunsets. The views were amazing! All of the appliances were up to date and easy to use.
We were especially pleased with the location. We originally thought of staying in San Diego and are so happy that we picked Encinitas instead. The condo is on the ocean on a very quiet residential street in a fabulous beach community. Many wonderful restaurants and stores within a few blocks. Swami's and Moonlight Beach are also within walking distance. Nice beaches and great surfing to watch.

Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. Place was very clean and spacious. Hosts were very responsive to all questions. Place is well stocked with equipment, grill, etc. Had pack and play and high chair for infant. Would appreciate a little more TP. Overall great experience with lots of good memories!

We used the pool and hot tub, and while the hot tub definitely could have been cleaner, I realize it is in a shared space and not necessarily in the control of the vrbo owner. What really topped it all of for us was the location. We were able to walk (one stroller, a 4 and a 7 year old in tow), pretty much everywhere. It was a great way to see the sights and eat the foods. SO much good food. The beach is right down the street (conveniently at a dead end so traffic was minimal). We would definitely stay here again. Appreciated the personal gestures as well! THank you!

Great Spot!
We booked this for a nearby family wedding, so location was the primary concern. We were able to get another unit in the same complex, which was ideal. The unit itself was really great. It's not new, so had a great homey feel that we appreciated for our down time. The view was beautiful. Access to Moonlight Beach and easy walking to downtown Encinitas were excellent. We were sorry that we didn't get to spend more time just enjoying the place. Only downside was that it is on the third floor, so pack lightly!

Awesome location for sunsets,moonlight beach vistas and restaurants and shopping. Walking distance for all even with a one year old in stroller.
Residence was spacious with beautiful views. Steps up to second floor could be tiring but once there everything you need is available.

Family trip with adult children had plenty of space for all of us, great views from the condo, short walk to Moonlight beach and to Encinitas restaurants and shopping. Easy access to highways to take us wherever needed in the area.

Breeders Cup rally
Stayed here with 3 friends while in the area for the breeders cup @ Del Mar. location was perfect with easy access to restaurants & bars and also close to the freeway.
Unfortunately weather wasn’t great so didn’t get to take advantage of the pool/hot tub.
Eileen was very helpful throughout the whole rental process
