Beautiful views from a well equipped log cabin.Beautiful scenery to explore in the area and a great place to unplug, relax and immerse yourself in nature! Very relaxing!
3.0
Great location and most comfortable beds we have ever slept in...including our own! It is located in a remote area so it was quiet with lots of wonderful views. The sunsets were beautiful! It was well stocked with all the dishes/cookware you could possibly need. They even have cute little Dove shampoo/conditioner and soap. And the pool table is a great amenity for those days we just wanted to stay home and relax. The A/C was super cold which helped on those hot summer days/nights after returning from a day trip at the lake.
If you are allergic or don't like dog hair everywhere then this is not the place for you. Unfortunately, the dog hair is everywhere and there are stains on the carpet.
Also, being out in the forest there are lots of critters, but there is a mouse problem and you'll have to clean off the patio table and chairs every morning.
We won't be back unless they do some serious maintenance and cleaning which is a shame because this cabin has so much potential.

This place is very peaceful, saw a deer off the deck. Very comfortable and nice that it is pet friendly. Would definitely stay again. Beds were comfortable too.

Fond memories of last years stay.

This property was an ideal location for our stay. It was out of the way from excess noise and people usually found closer to the water. The cabin, view and surroundings were beautiful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything needed during our stay.

Loved the view off the deck. House was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything needed. Could not find trash recepracle so we hauled our own out. Bats nesting under eaves of roof gave us a show as they flew around as the sun was going down. Mosquitos were a bother, could provide some Citronella candles. Overall, we really enjoyed this home. Had some great quality family time.

The cabin was beautiful and relaxing. We would recommend to anyone, looking to get away, to go stay here. It was everything we needed for a relaxing vacation away from the city!

Amazing, beautiful, relaxing, quiet!! Everything we needed for a relaxing get-away! I think the only item I would suggest is a brush for the BBQ, we ended up using some crumpled up foil to clean the grill. Everything else was PERFECT!! We spent most of our time on the patio enjoying the view. We will definitely be booking this cabin again.

The peaceful and quiet beauty, the little touches, all combined blow away a hotel room...it's just perfect.

A beautiful view, so peaceful and quiet. The cabin is lovely and was pretty well stocked with everything you would need. The management communicated quickly. The dirt road is very steep in places and it's a little tricky finding the cabin - pay attention to the directions and details they give you and download directions while you still have cell service. No signal once you're off the main road. It's a great place to stay if you're looking for a place to relax.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Beautiful cabin with super comfy beds. Well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Warm, inviting fireplace. Lovely view of the lake through the large windows. Coffee/tea on the deck viewing the lake. Spotted stellar jays, finches, Alvin (the chipmunk) and deer. We stayed at a time of year when few people were around, which enhanced the relaxation we were looking for. We would highly recommend this cabin.

It was a great get away... the cabin was beautiful and we'd definitely love to visit again.

We love the views, the jacuzzi tub and the fireplace with soft fluffy beds.

I stayed in this property approximately 6 years ago. The owners have made a few additional upgrades that made property even better than before.
From a wonderful deck outside basement entrance to fully stocked cabin with everything you would ever need.
You will feel completely at home at this cabin. What a wonderful view of mountains and Cascade Lake.
Wild life right out off deck and a firepit for smores.
This property was wonderful to enjoy the wintery spring season. Not as easy to get to in the winter, but such a joyful, relaxing place to be.
This would be rated a 10 in my book, and I don't give 10's for anything.

The location and surrounding property are great. It’s a short drive from the highway, but since it is over a hill, there is no noise and it feels so secluded and private.

This is such a cool traditional log cabin sitting on the side of a mountain with a view of Lake Cascade and West Mountain!

We loved the layout of the cabin. It never felt cramped or overcrowded. The cabin had pretty much everything we needed, and a few things we didn’t even think we needed. Except for food, everything was ready to go. You can just come in, unpack, and relax. Overall, it was an awesome stay at this cabin. We would go back in a second.

We loved this cabin! If you are looking for fancy hotel-like stay, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay in a cabin in the woods, this place will probably exceed your expectations. I really wish we could have taken this cabin home with us. I loved the layout. The main floor had kitchen/dining, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and laundry room. The loft had a big bathroom, and 3 beds. The lower level had a pool table, bathroom, couches, and a nice TV setup (this was our favorite room).
The inside was very clean, and comfortable. Almost everything we needed was there, but you usually had to do some searching to find it. (We didn’t find the laundry detergent and dishwasher soap until about an hour before we left.) The refrigerator was pretty large, and would accommodate a lot of groceries, which is good, because the drive to the grocery store is one you don’t want to do a lot. The main floor had really nice views of the lake. At night we would go out onto the main deck to watch the bats do their nightly hunting. The views of the stars were also amazing from the main deck.
The few negatives weren’t really that bad, and we all really enjoyed our stay. The road in is dusty and rough. A car would be fine, just take it slow. The main floor and the loft would get very warm. The windows give you great views, but they also let in a lot of sun. The outside areas also could use some work. Not deal breakers for us.
We really didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful cabin with stunning views of Cascade Lake and the mountains. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Loved the deck also.

This cabin felt like a treehouse in the woods, with nice views of the trees and lake. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and beds were comfortable. It was clean and cosy. It's a couple of miles down a windy dirt road, which makes it feel remote and quiet (and I can imagine might be an issue getting to in the winter.) Cabin only has one bedroom on the main floor, however the open loft on the second floor has two queens and one twin bed as well as a full bath. The lower level had a fun game/media room and another bathroom. Surprised it is advertised as only sleeping 4, as we had lots of room to spread out with all the beds.

The house was exactly as described, and was very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked, with any size of pot or dish you may need. Could have used a few more wine glasses, but I understand that they break easily. We used the fire pit, as plenty of dry wood was supplied. Such a relaxing time.
A beautiful home with a beautiful view. Would definitely rent again!

The house is perched on a hillside a couple of miles down a gravel road. The cabin felt secluded and quiet and had nice views of the trees and the lake. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay.

The view, peaceful and quiet was all as advertised and the cabin was charming and perfect for us. The only downside was the dirty windows that were a big distraction from the view. We will definitely be back!

Love this cabin only downside is no refrigerator as it’s broke but freezer worked. Trash was full, had to vacuum as soon as we got there and live wasp on window sills. Otherwise very comfortable and kid friendly for a 2 year old. Stayed here 4 years ago and had lots of improvements since then. Had a great 2 night stay overall.

July 8-11, 2022. We've stayed at this cabin twice before. When we arrived expecting the a/c units to work. They weren't, along with a ceiling fan that did not work either. We called and the maintenance man he arrived 1 1/2 hours later. He located the breaker outside and reset it he also determined the ceiling fan could not be repaired. He left. Ten minutes later the units were throwing an error code. We googled the code and determined it was a compressor problem. At that point we decided to wait until morning to report it. At 9am the next day we called. No one ever called or followed up. Since it was so hot, we opened the patio door and windows. A chipmunk made it inside. This was quite the ordeal to get it out. My friend noted that she heard a bird and chirpping all night while sleeping in the loft. On Sunday night while she attempted to go to sleep the bird flew right over her. She came and told the rest of us about the bird. After seeing it closer we determined it was a bat. As you can imagine, this sent the 4 of us into a tailspin. At 2am we barricaded ourselves in the basement and waited for sunlight. We left as soon as possible! It's a nice cabin that we really enjoyed in the past but it needs a deep clean. The carpets are dirty. The furniture downstairs smells like feet. There are cob webs in the rafters and the windows need to be cleaned outside.
On a possible note the cabin has lots of room.

Loved the cabin, the spaciousness, the view. They aren't kidding about 4x4 required in the winter and the alternate route you must take. It snowed and our new Cherokee 4x4 wouldn't have been able to get all the way if the plow driver hadn't happened by at the right time.

But it seems like the jetted tub leaks down to the second floor bathroom when draining. Also the hot water heater for the jetted tub doesn't work fast enough. I had to wait 45 minutes just to get the water heated. And if you're planning on going during the winter and snow . PLEASE BRING A FOUR BY FOUR VEHICLE AND IF YOUR NOT USE TO TRAVELING IN THE SNOW. PLEASE STAY HOME!! You will regret it if you don't. Thank you!

Lovley cabin with a beautiful view.

Showed up to find dead bugs all over house, comforter with snot smeared all over it, dirty pillows smelling of hair products and perfume, Cheetos and paper on floor, garbage can full outside which a critter scattered all over the property, dirty BBQ, mouse poop covering table and chairs outside, and more. Spent our vacation washing all the bedding and towels, and on the phone trying to get the problems dealt with. The on site manager was great, but problem still hasn’t been resolved. Did not receive call back as told so from the supervisor. At this point, I would never use Vacasa home rentals again. Our stay was the opposite of relaxing; it was awful.

We had 8 people and fit in the cabin fine. The view from the deck of the lake is great! The gravel road back to the cabin is pretty long, but adds to the charm.

Spacious, clean, fun pool table, private, quiet and beautiful scenery! It was a perfect cabin for our honeymoon!

This property was perfect for us we were working in cascade for the week and it was a great place. The cabin gets very hot in the summer heat and AC could not keep up with all the sun coming in the windows in the afternoon/evening some blinds on those west facing windows would make a huge difference. But the accommodations were spot on comfortable beds and very clean
