When walking in, there was a portable a/c unit with a tube running to the window. When running, the unit was loud. Needless to say we didn't sleep well at all due to the uncomfortable mattress and loud portable a/c

This was our first stay on HHI and I was very pleased with our choice of lodging! Although it doesn’t have the greatest view of the beach, you can see it and it’s only a short walk! Also within walking distance of Coligny’s restaurants and shops! It’s not fancy or boujee but that’s fine with us! With our budget, I was pleased and would stay again!

Contacted the owner, Gina Mariotti, several times in the days right before we were scheduled to leave for our Aug.5 to Aug 12 stay in Hilton Head. All weather reports as well as the Town of Hilton Head Facebook page indicated that the area should be avoided due to extended torrential rain, flash flooding, storm surge, etc. Ms. Mariotti was asked point blank to refund our money. She did not refuse, she simply asked if we had purchased 3rd party travel insurance, which we had not, and ignored additional requests for a refund. When she finally did respond, it was to tell us that there hadn't been any flooding, that it was a sunny day, and if we were still coming to use the last couple of days of our rental time. We ask that our money be refunded, in full, due to the hazardous conditions that existed, as we would have been at risk traveling into the area for the majority of our booked days. Local officials and emergency services were posting to stay away from the area, stay off roads, and take all precautions, as the predictions were for "historic" amounts of rain. As far as the above ratings for various aspects of the rental, I cannot give an accurate rating, as we never arrived, but the page will not let me submit without doing so, hence the 1-star ratings. Great location..wife enjoys beach..very short walk..

Everything was close to the condo. Gina was great and let us in early. Will stay again.

The unit is not a luxury home away from home, 55 plus crowd may want an upgrade. Close to beach though. My stay was not the best due to the hardness of bed. The amount of bug spray used to combat seasonal bugs caused major allergies and migraines. The window screen to the patio is damaged, making it difficult to enjoy the outside area or get fresh air into the unit.

The property was very clean. We had problems with parking, but those were quickly resolved. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Great area for the beach.

Really enjoyed the location. Very close to the beach and necessary shops. However, it was hard to get in touch with the host at the beginning and end of the vacation. We left some items unfortunately and when trying to reach her the number is no longer in service and when I reach out here I’ve gotten no response at all. Kinda let down but the stay was fine communication isn’t.
