Draußen verfügt diese Unterkunft über ein überdachtes Schwimmdock. Das Dock verfügt über eine 10 x 24-Zoll-Überdachung mit einer angeschlossenen 8 x 16-Zoll-Badeplattform. Die Plattform verfügt über eine 4-stufige Badeleiter und einen Terrassentisch mit Sonnenschirm und Stühlen. Die Bucht ist mit absolut KEINEM BOOTSVERKEHR für kindersicheres und sorgenfreies Schwimmen geschützt.
Das Haus liegt in der Nähe des Wassers und der Hang ist sanft. Die obere Ebene des Hauses verfügt über eine überdachte, umlaufende Terrasse, die mit einem Gasgrill, einem Picknicktisch, Terrassenmöbeln, einem Schaukelstuhl und einer Schaukel auf der Veranda ausgestattet ist. Unter dem Deck gibt es eine überdachte Veranda mit einer Hängematte und eine weitere Schaukel, auf der Sie nach einem großartigen Tag auf dem Wasser entspannen können!
Im Obergeschoss befinden sich eine voll ausgestattete Küche (mit neuem Granit, Spüle und Geschirrspüler im Jahr 2018), ein Essbereich mit Tisch und Stühlen (Platz für 9 Personen) und ein Familienzimmer. This home was super clean and very cozy. We had a large group and plenty of room. This is a very well maintained rental. Would definitely stay here again.

The property was everything we had hoped for and more! Plenty of room for two adults and four children. Kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. Walk down to dock was easy with not a lot of steep steps. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck. Property was very clean and well kept! We love Norris Lake and will definitely be looking to stay at this property again in the future.

As an adult, life can get very stressful with the every day worries of work and home life. I feel that vacations are so important and this one was a wonderful one. We had the best time. The home is spacious, very clean, had alot of options for outdoor activities such as corn hole boards, basketball and hoop, and fire pit. As well as a few board games and puzzles inside. The lake view is breathtaking and the ease of getting down to the dock/water was great. Some lake homes have incredibly steep hills you must conquer in order to get to the lake which can be very challenging for some. The covered porch was so relaxing for reading, visiting, even ate out there on the picnic table a few times. We will 100% stay here again. We had no issues or concerns, nothing but great memories. The only thing that was not on the listing that some should be aware of, is that the driveway is VERY steep. If you have a low vehicle, it could cause issues. Our suv's did fine on it after the intimidation wore off lol

We had the absolute best time! The place was more than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing and it was so nice to have the dock steps away. Our kids had the best time floating in the water and the kayaks were a nice bonus. We already want to go back. Thank you so much Mike!!

We had rain the entire week but made ways to make it fun! There were moments of no rain and we were able to sneak out for a quick boat ride out for fun. The dock is perfect for my granddaughters to go out for some swimming and fun too, quiet and secluded. Thank you!

The house was perfect for our group. The walk to the dock was not bad at all. Mike was very easy to deal with. House was clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this house. Everyone enjoyed themselves. One of the best stays we’ve had at Norris!!!!

Tuns of FUN!!
This is the second time that we have stayed at this property. It never disappoints. The owners are more than accommodating and seems like when we returned they have updated or added more to make our stay comfortable. They are located on a very pretty part of the lake close to many fun activities and not to far from a main highway. They are tucked away in a protected cove which is great for floating and playing at the dock. We have rented a pontoon boat for a full week from Norris Lake Marina both times that we have visited the property. We are close to many marinas, rope swings, the Norris goat cave, and cliff jumping. There are very steps to the water and everything outside is well lit. We look forward to rebooking at this property soon.

Best VRBO stay ever
We stayed a week at the Murray’s in early May and it was the best family vacation we’ve ever had.
Owner Mike was amazing to work with, extremely accommodating, generous and available for all our questions. The lakefront home is stocked with everything you’ll need from the kitchen to the living areas to lake access and dock. Upon arrival, everything was extremely clean and organized— our family felt at home instantly. The access to lake is unmatched— very low grade compared to others and the floating dock fit our boat perfectly. After a day on the water, we were very comfortable coming back to cook dinner for the kids and relax. An hour to Knoxville and about 2 h to the Smokeys. This place has it all- 5 stars!!

Just what the DR ordered!
The week before our stay my wife had her 1st cancer treatment. This place had it all. Love at 1st site. The views were breath taking, the fresh mountain air was calming. Beautiful clear water awesome boat house this place was amazing. We will definitely be staying again!

Hands down THE BEST LAKE FRONT RENTAL
This was the best lake front rental my family has ever stayed in! The home was spotless and everything we needed was there. The owners were in contact with us whenever we needed them and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The dock was just the right size for our boat and both of our jet ski's. Loved the view from the large, covered porch. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and very clean. The wifi was strong enough for all 4 of us, we could receive and make phone calls/texts on our cell phones and still respond/check our emails. The floor plan is perfect for a large gathering or even a small one. We will be returning in the near future. From our experience, the owners will make every effort to make your stay perfect and you will not want to leave, it feels like home and not just a vacation rental.

Great Lake getaway
This is our second year renting this property and we absolutely love it. We can sit on the porch and see the water, and we are close to marinas. My husband loves to go out fishing at night, and the dock is very well lighted. The house has everything we need, and we would definitely recommend this property. Mike always makes sure we have everything we need.

Lake Life at it’s Finest....
This property was more than we could have hoped for. Snuggled in off in a cove for safe swimming and little to no waves for kids to swim with life jackets on. We rented a pontoon boat from Norris Dam Marina to use for the week. The dock was very easy to use with the Pontoon. VERY little stairs from the house to the dock. We had two families totaling 7 people we have more than enough space. Owners just recently updated parts of the house that we enjoyed! The beds were super comfortable and the layout of the house is spacious. The owners were super easy to communicate with and gave us allot of great information prior to us arriving. We received step by step directions to their property, a list of restaurants to visit and some hidden gems of things to do while we were in town. Their property is very close to a rope swing and several cliffs for jumping. We enjoyed all family meals and our morning coffee on their beautiful deck that gave us some protection from a few rain drops.. We love this lake and the family memories that have been made this weekend we will cherish forever. **if you have never been to Norris Lake this property is a MUST. Thank you to the home owners. Norris Lake Excursion
This was our first trip as a family and we could not have been happier with our stay! The pictures do not do justice to the comfortable, clean, well organized, beautiful home. The location is perfect for a fun swim around the dock and close enough to hop on the main lake to tube and ski. The entire group agrees they would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you, we had a blast!

Quiet & low tech
Beautiful home has everything, except the hot tub in the picture. Has boat dock and everything thing a big family needs-beds & kitchen supplies, & washer dryer. The owner is exceptional and communicated frequently. There is a land line. Teenagers and big techie people who need entertainment 24/7 online may be somewhat disappointed but the outdoors was wonderful for boaters or basketballers. We (adults) loved it.

Clean and spacious!
House was awesome! We loved the big wrap around porch and the fire pit to chill at after a day on the lake. Mike was very responsive and helpful with advice and making sure we were taken care of. Would def stay again!

Tennessee Vacation
Everything was just as described. Cabin was clean and well stocked in addition to what we brought. It was just my wife and I, but there is an abundance of room. Enjoyed the deck and we rented a pontoon to explore the lake, fish and swim. Fishing was a bust, but not anyone’s fault, but the guy at the end of the pole....me. It’s deep lakes, so perhaps a different approach would have been better. Definitely rent a boat for a few days of your stay.

2019 Norris trip
There was 7 adults on this trip and the house was perfect. We loved that it was an easy walk to the water and we had a nice cove that you were protected from any waves. The outdoor covered porch was great as well since we had a rain day we could still enjoy being outside and stay good and dry. Mike also emailed us and checked in a couple days into our trip to see if there was anything we needed which was very nice of him. He was also very helpful leading up to the trip answering any questions we may have. I recommend this house to anyone and we will be back.
