Peaceful Cabin on Munds Canyon with Open Forest from the Decks

Der Odellsee ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt und lädt zum Angeln, Kajakfahren und Wandern ein. Wir haben einfachen Zugang zu Wanderwegen, Radwegen, ATV- und Schneemobilwegen. Im üppigen Pinewood Country Club, der für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich ist, können Sie in 1,1 km Entfernung Golf spielen. Die Putting Greens sind unglaublich. Der Country Club verfügt über ein beliebtes Restaurant mit Nachmittags- und Abendaktivitäten, auf die gegen eine zusätzliche Gebühr zugegriffen werden kann (bei Interesse bitte anfragen). Der Country Club und der Golfplatz sind saisonal von April bis September geöffnet (bitte erkundigen Sie sich im Voraus nach den genauen Öffnungs- / Schließdaten).
Unsere Hütte ist ein praktischer Ausgangspunkt, um den Norden von Arizona zu erkunden. Das weltberühmte Sedona ist eine einfache 45-minütige malerische Fahrt entfernt. Flagstaff ist 20 Minuten nördlich mit seinem vielseitigen Charme, Restaurants und Golfplätzen. Snow Skiing im Arizona Snowbowl ist 45 Minuten entfernt. Das Snowbowl ist auch im Sommer ein schöner Ort zum Essen, Picknicken, Wandern und Radfahren. Der Grand Canyon ist ca. 90 Minuten entfernt. Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind der Oak Creek Canyon, der Slide Rock, der Meteor Crater, die Walnut Canyon Indian Ruins, der Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course, die berühmte Route 66 usw. Sie sind alle relativ kurze Fahrten von unserer Kabine entfernt.

We loved the property, it is as described. Had everything we needed in the kitchen etc. Beds were super comfy as well. Can hike right from property and location is quiet and perfect for getting to Flagstaff (20 min drive). We will be back in the winter! Thanks so much!

Wonderful, peaceful and serene cabin. The bedding was out of this world. Nicely stocked with the essentials. The deck was amazing and we had a creek below with soothing sounds.

This property has such beautiful views and the decks you can enjoy the sound of the water below. There was still snow on the ground so the kids were able to use the snow toys and had a blast. The cabin was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again for sure. Our property Mng. Tim was available and very helpful.

My family and friends spent new years in this house and let me tell you!! We had an amazing time , we didn’t do much outdoors because the weather didn’t help so we spent alot of time inside!
This house has everything!! Very clean, comfortable beds, a very well equipped kitchen with everything we needed it to cook our meals , amazing views.. close to gas station and a cute little bar called el borracho we had great time there, we we’re all adults, total of 8 and the house had plenty of space for all of us,
This house is very very cozy in the winter , nice chimney with lots of wood to use

Very clean and quiet
The cabin was very clean. Loved the patio. Enjoyed the horseshoe game. They have nice bike for use. We didn’t , the home is on a steep hillside and It was more work to get the bike up the driveway. Neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Loved the cabin.

Relaxing Getaway
We have stayed at Tim's cabin several times and we have never been disappointed. Tim is very efficient and timely with concerns or questions. The cabin is in a great location and the sensation of seclusion is a nice weekend getaway. The cabin is clean, beds are comfy and supplies are more than adequate. Cabin had literally everything you could need even for a family of 6. It was clean, and the surrounding property was beautiful. We had so much fun sledding down the driveway! Owner was attentive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Overland Expo West
First let me thank Tim for the excellent communication. It made me feel welcome and appreciated that we selected this home to stay at. The place was clean as a whistle including the decks and outside areas, which I know have to collect pine needles and oak leaves pretty quickly (not a leaf to be found). It is a very cozy cabin and makes you feel quite snug. The front layout is a bit tight, but overall plenty of room to separate into the three bedrooms or outside decks if need be. The area was beautiful, but a bit of a drive if you want to be in Flag. hence the 4 stars on location. Close enough though. There were conveniences nearby, such as a few good restaurants, saloons/pubs, and gas stations. We came to Overland Expo and stayed here instead of camping it because I wanted room in the truck to take back all the goodies we bought at the expo. This is a pet friendly place and Lucy enjoyed running in the trees in the back yard. A courtesy notice to Tim when you are bringing your pet goes a long way. There were dog bowls and a couple cans of dog food in the cupboard, which was a kind touch, along with doggie bags by the door. Yay! Overall we would love to stay here again and recommend folks consider this as a great place to kick up your feet.

Awesome Cabin in a great location
This is my first experience with staying at a cabin rented through VRBO. I hope all future stays go as well as this one. The cabin was perfect for my family. Wi-Fi / Internet was good enough for me to be able to work from the cabin. There was plenty of kitchen stuff to be able to cook anything I wanted. The bathrooms were stocked with everything needed. Plenty of games to play. Deck was amazing and had plenty of chairs. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Nice cabin
Tons of games to play if you’re bored. I spent a lot of time on the deck, with a nice deck chair. Tim was great to work with and communicated very quickly. Neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Everthing we needed
This was a great place to come home to after a day of exploring. I especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. I am used to bringing my own coffee, spices, kitchen tools, but this place had everything imaginable!

Family Christmas well spent
This review is long overdue! My family and I stayed at this property over Christmas and it was wonderful! From checkin to check out the property owner was available for anything we needed or questions I had. It’s a cute cabin for a family to spend time in, the backyard is woodsy, you can ride the bikes the owner provides or use the heater on the back porch at night. It truly is a hidden gem of a property, we will definitely be back!

Perfect, quaint getaway
If you're looking for a cozy cabin up in Northern Arizona to relax and get a breath of fresh air, this place is perfect! Tim is very friendly and helpful, it's a gorgeous area and you have a nice patio overlooking the woods to grill and relax. Not much more needed in my opinion!

Amazing location and comfy beds
We have stayed here a couple times and enjoyed it every time. The wrap around porch overlooking the tree lined wash is amazing. You feel like no one else can see or hear you for miles. One with nature. Comfy beds . Netflix. Propane Fire pit And heater supplied in porch. small comfy home has everything you could ever need. Owner is awesome and responsive and very kind. Can’t say enough good and we will be back!!

Good Times
We found this gem in the woods! It was so well stocked with cookware, glasses, coffee and lots more. If wanted to do laundry we could have. The outside deck was so nice to sit out and watch horse shoes and bag toss being played.

Quiet cabin in the woods
We just spent a week in this cabin in Munds Park. Weather was lovely. The cabin has everything you need. The back deck is gated which was great for our small dog. The terrain around the cabin and the stairs may make it difficult if you have any ambulatory issues, but it was fine for us. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks

the cabin was perfect, great location- you feel very isolated with Forest surrounding 3 sides of cabin. Nice walks & some hikes are very close. Inside of cabin is just as described. We can't wait to come back!

Peaceful Easy Feeling!
The location of this property is perfect for a quiet peaceful time in the forest. My wife and I enjoyed the trees, hiking trail across the stream, and cooking outdoors. The stars were bright and with a 3/4 moon, the night was even bright!

This was exactly what we wanted! The house was comfy, relaxing, quiet, but at the same time had all the modern conveniences. While we enjoyed the fireplace, the kid was enjoying the w-fi and TV! Was a perfect spot to come back to and relax after a long day of exploring Arizona. Thumbs up!
