The area is super cute and the home was great! It was super clean and so comfortable! It had everything we needed! The owner was very nice and very accommodating. Will definitely stay again!!

Comfortable house with plenty of bedrooms

We really enjoyed the stay. The place was clean and plenty big. Anders was wonderful communicating with and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again

The house is great. Perfect size to accommodate a few couples or families. The house is very spread out for people to have their own space and privacy and it's very clean and updated. Would definitely stay their again.

Anders and his properties are everything you could hope for in a vacation rental. They are well kept, clean, and inviting. We rented both Valhalla and East of the sun for the weekend with a large number of guests and the houses could not have worked out more perfect. There is so much to do in the little resort and every need is met from bicycles, rackets, balls, inside games. . .and our personal favorites the karaoke stage(GREAT Sound) and the pool tables in each house. Anders was wonderful at checking in and replying to anything we came back with, I cant give 10 stars . . .but I would - highly recommend!

This house was the perfect location for our bridal party, especially loved the bridal suite which is large enough for numerous people, including makeup artist and hair stylist. Tge basement is such a bonus, and the screened in porch is just lovely. Thank you for the great stay!

My son was married at the botanic gardens in Michigan City, the house was centrally located for all our activities. All the bathrooms were a god send!😁 Beautiful home love the decor and the kitchen was well stocked.

We had a wonderful stay at Valhalla! The house is not large, but there is plenty of room for 6-8 folks. The house was very clean and had coffee already in the cupboard! Not always true. Though there are houses very close to this one, it is very quiet. Every house around us was occupied and yet we were able to get our kids to sleep by 8:30 pm and the area was quiet. We were unable to take time to enjoy the resort, but we sure will next time. Seems like a perfect vacation spot.

Great location & very clean rental

The Beachwalk community was a great place to stay. There was so much for our teenage sons and their friends to do at the house. They really enjoyed the pool table and all of the sports memorabilia. Quite a collection! They also got into the board games and played those, too.

What a great place! There were 8 of us, and we had such a great time. The house slept so many…we had plenty of room. We love the resort area with so much to do. The golf cart was used everyday too! Thanks so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

Anders met us upon check in to welcome us. Everything was very detailed in the check in process. Great house, very clean, nice location and lots of amenities!! Would definitely rent again! It was perfect for our girls trip!!

Anders is a wonderful host -- super responsive and helpful. Valhalla was great and loved the amenities and proximity to Lake Michigan, the pool and clubhouse.

We loved the house. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. There were plenty of sleeping options and perfect for our little ones.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciate all that Andrea did to make it so.

It Was Such A Good Vibe Love The House , Everything Was So Perfect For My Birthday

We loved our stay here, the property is clean and exactly as the description reads. The area/resort is very nice and secure, if we had one and only complaint (which is entirely out of the owners control) is the closeness/congestion of the property next to others. Many of the surrounding homes are absolutely beautiful, but we did notice how easily sound traveled from other properties. The parking is minimal (3 cars fit) but there is an overflow just down the road for any other vehicles. The game room downstairs was a great time, but it is a tight fit even for just a few people (again out of the owners hands!) but was a fun time. A light in the basement bedroom also often flickered on/off, but overall we had a great experience!

Anders was the best host I’ve ever rented from. He was very helpful, detailed about instructions/rules. He was also very rapid with responding. The place very clean, stocked up, warm, exciting, and plenty space for the two family’s.

We had an amazing stay at Valhalla to spend Christmas with family! The beach house was beautiful and a great space to make memories with our kids and family.

They house is great., everything you could need. Arrived at night and it was very hard to locate the home. Our overall stay was great just wish we didn’t have such a hard time finding the home at night.

We loved the Valhalla property. Great location within the Beachwalk community. Close to park, fishing, and the beach. All within a 5 minute golf cart ride. Everything worked as you would expect. Check in and out was a breeze and the instructions easy to follow. All amenities were in working condition and most appeared new. Although this was just our family could easily fit two families within the house. Plan on coming back!

This property was absolutely charming. What a surprise to drive into this lovely neighborhood. We picked the perfect time of year (although we were told summer is prime time) the leaves were changing; the air was cool and crisp. Perfect weather for taking the golf cart out to enjoy nature. Quite & peaceful, exactly what we were looking for. Early morning walks and long evenings on the porch sipping some wine from the local winery. The hosts were amazing & kind. The house itself was spectacular! Everything we needed was supplied throughout the house. Definitely 10 out of 10.

This was our first girl's trip to Michigan City. The accommodations were excellent!! The host was on site and very responsive!! The environment was peace, relaxing and in a great location. I will definitely rent this house again.

Vahala is a nice vacation property for all ages. Plenty of space for dining, lounging, and play. The outdoor spaces - the screened in porch and front porch were both great. The living room, small but seated 6 comfortably. The TVs were easy to use, once the Wi-Fi was connected. The kitchen table and bar allowed for plenty of dining space. They do have some spices and seasonings in the pantry for you to use. There was also dish soap and trash bags. The trash was conveniently located. Overall the property was clean. It is a haul to the beach without a cart so renting a golf cart is highly recommended. The bikes were decent and the shared fire pit outside were a great touch. The host was great at communication.

Home was well appointed, especially the kitchen with everything you need. Owner is very helpful and responsive. Neighborhood is very family friendly with easy access to the beach. The golf cart, pool, fire pit and activity area were an added bonus!

I rented Vahalla and East of the Sun. (311 and 313 Childers way)My brother rented the Trolls Den . Houses were great no complaints. Sleeping arrangements- be flexible. Kitchen facilities great. Go to Al's supermarket on us 12 for ice and food and cvs across street on us 12 rather than across town. Take advantage of karaoke in East of Sun. A lot of fun. Parking can be a trick depending if more than 3 cars per house at Vahalla and East of Sun. Only one car for trolls den. Get a permit from owner to park in overflow lot a couple of blocks away. House facilities plenty of couches and chairs for socializing and family games.. very nice especially in East of sun where I stayed. Needed card tables and chairs for playing cards.. Golf carts available for Vahalla and East of Sun. Useful and fun. Rented tennis Pavillion in Washington Park for family gatherings from city parks and recreation.

It was a great stay . we only reserved it for two nights just to give it a try , I regret that it was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back

This is a great property to gather as a family. We had so much fun exploring the area in the golf cart! I don't think Anders could be any more helpful or nice, thank you so much! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep and enjoy meals together. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. And the shared firepit and bikes were a great addition for a fun filled vacation!

Fun, eclectic venue. It has everything you need. Beds are comfortable, pool and beach are nice and close. Well-equipped for children. Host was helpful and accessible.
