This unit was beautiful, clean, and spacious. The view and sunrises were perfect. The grounds, pool, and secluded beach were perfect for our family vacation.
Our adult children and their spouses and one grandchild (1 1/2 year old) vacationed with us and loved this rental.

Great time at 525 Mariners Club. Our family of seven came to Key Largo for Thanksgiving. The condo had great views, there was plenty of beds and room for all of us. We loved the pools and hot tubs. Great location to restaurants, grocery stores and things to do.

Amazing Little Gem
First off I would like to start by saying this is an amazing little condo. It's a four bedroom SINGLE LEVEL unit. There are TWO ROOMS with a KING BED IN EACH! There is a third bedroom with two twin beds and the fourth room is a single/ trundle bed. The unit itself is extremely spacious with a gorgeous view of the water. There was also a laundry room in the unit which is a huge plus with the hot weather in the Keys. There are also two HVAC units in the unit which makes the condo comfortable. The only downside was the master was a little warmer than the other portion of the house but there was a fan in the closet so that helped. This unit is extremely family friendly. There is an elevator onsite that you can use to take your luggage upstairs since the unit is on the second level. One thing that I will mention is that there is not a luggage cart so I would recommend bringing a small foldable wagon so you won't have to make multiple trips. The pool is also amazing! It's really big and offers a nice relief from the hot weather. I would 100% recommend this facility and would stay here again.

Good bones, disappointing experience
Our group of extended family was so excited to stay at this property that was described in the listing as “immaculately clean”, “impeccably furnished”, “exudes luxury”. Unfortunately the description and photos are dated or inaccurate, as they both seem to put a filter of sorts over reality.
I'd like to first callout the positives:
-The Mariner's Club complex is well maintained, family friendly, with a lovely pool complex.
-The unit itself is in a nice location with an amazing view.
-The unit has a good layout and is quite spacious.
-The in-unit washer and dryer appear to be new and are in a dedicated space for all guests in the unit to easily access.
-The management company is responsive (caveat being their hands are tied with what they are able to help with by the owner).
Unfortunately we were underwhelmed with our experience otherwise. All feedback, including more details, has been shared directly with the management company in hopes of improved experiences for other renters.
-Most concerning of our entire experience is that the owner remotely controls the thermostats in the unit. One of the AC units is held at 72, unable to be raised or lowered. The other AC unit near 2 of the guest rooms can be adjusted down to 72, however, is set to automatically raise to 79 in the middle of the night. This was never properly addressed during our stay and appeared to be a known issue/complaint by the management company.
-The unit is in need of a deep clean. The floors were filthy upon arrival, many spots were dusty or fingerprinted, etc. The management company did respond promptly and have someone out to clean the floors on our second day. We were advised that the owners will not allow for a deep clean to be performed, so the lighter between-renter cleanings are all that is allowed.
-Many lights in the unit were either out or flickering. A few were able to be addressed early in our stay, while others remained.
-The furniture is tired and worn, with mattresses and bed pillows in need of updating in all bedrooms.
-Blinds were broken and unable to fully close in 2 of the bathrooms, which caused privacy concerns.
-The kitchen is haphazardly equipped. While there were amply things like plates and drinking glasses, there were insufficient quantity/variety of silverware, wine glasses, cooking utensils, etc.
NET: The owners appear to be cheap and not at all concerned with their renters' experience, doing the bare minimum to collect the $.

Beautiful place, great living area and great location
This is a beautiful condo in a great location. Well appointed. The pool at the property is also very nice; resort like. At first the master bedroom was very warm, but a call to the property management company resulted in a quick response; apparently the a/c was set to a high temp for that room and the management company was the only one who could unlock it- so call right away if that happens to you. The living area is big, kitchen is beautiful. Mattresses are OK- not great. But overall this was a great place for a family or friends. Nice views too.

Oh! Beautiful view. Great place. Clean, modern. Great location. Loved spending time on the patio. We lacked nothing.
One comment about the pool--- leaves should be removed at least twice daily. It looked like it was clean every morning but by early evening, palm debris in the pool again. Very friendly & provided a good packet of local info. Great communication & ease of getting/returning keys.

Loved this unit and working with the Barefeet team. Needed a few more mugs, but otherwise great! We were here for work, but found the space very amenable to a group writing project. Beautiful unit, perfect for our team! Upbeat, responsive and friendly. I found them to be very professional and easy to work with.

The property was very spacious! The gym was closed for repairs and the hot tubs did not have very strong jets. Otherwise the property was great! The team was great and very helpful! Thank you.

Absolute paradise! What is there not to like about a huge 4BR/3BA condo that opens to ocean views?? Well maintained and updated. Working with Barefeet Rentals (Mary) was seamless and very easy. Mary was always quick to respond with any questions or suggestions.

Security not friendly, my brother in law told can’t come in to visit, even after I explained his wife (my sister) just died suddenly and he needed to spend time with us instead of alone at his resort

Our unit had exceptionally beautiful views, clean very large, 4 bedrooms, kitchen well equipped. We were on the 2nd floor and had an elevator. Highly recommend

Wonderful Property!
The condo was ideally located, was exactly as pictured, and the complex was perfect for all ages in our group. Great pool, and 10 minutes away from most tour/diving shops. Very clean, seamless checkin and checkout process. A gem!

Everything was great but a little annoying that you have to give so much info before you get there
Need to allow 3 cars for a 4 bedroom-better ability to check in at all hours and the bedding in our place was terrible-the 4th bedroom eaad really not a bedtoom with trundle bed that was extremely uncomfortable for adults -we had 8 people for a 4 bedtoom All adults need better beds!-place overallwas absolutely eb with great view -great pool-explain more about the club amenities -no towels or anyone to speak to day we were leaving to use facilities once out of room at 10AM-pretty expensive not to have better communication

Everything in the unit was nice & clean. The staff was helpful. We only had one issue with the air Conditioner. With 6 people in the unit it continued to get hotter, we could only lower the temp so far. Otherwise it was a great trip.

Rarely do we rent a property for our family of 7 and actually have living room and patio seating for all, dining room table space for all and even silverware/plates/glasses for all. Owners have well supplied this place.

Clean, comfortable unit in a nice complex
Nice, clean, comfortable unit in a nice complex. Our family including 4 teenagers has plenty of space and enjoyed the pool, exercise room and tennis/pickle ball courts.
Be aware that the TVs are not smart TVs. Also, the unit is not as fully loaded with supplies (i.e. laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, cooking supplies, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) as most VRBO's we have stayed at. Nothing was missing, per se, but I'm not sure what happens to the extra supplies that renters leave behind because they weren't in the unit.

Our extended family of seven loved this property. Plenty of room, beautiful views, great outdoor space and awesome pool. We felt relaxed and rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

Great Place - But not what we originally requested
Very nice property with excellent amenities. Well provisioned, clean and updated condo. Wonderful pool and good workout facility. We originally reserved a different condo in the same complex that was sold in the interim. A substitute was proposed that was pretty close to the same or we could have gotten a refund. I'm glad we chose the replacement.

Outstanding Summer Getaway
The condo was remarkable. It was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. The location to the pool was even better. We enjoyed the morning views of the sun rising each morning. I highly recommend this place.

Recommend going to the John Pennekamp Coral Reef state park. They had lots of stuff to do! Very friendly and informative team members.

This condo was everything we could’ve hoped for. The description and pictures were perfectly accurate. We loved the large windows in the living room and the balcony looking out at the water. It was absolutely amazing. We will be coming back for sure.

Love, love this unit. Until I prepared for bed & realized the AC wont drop below 72. Well, I sleep at 67 and 72 is too hot! I cant even imagine renting this unit in The summer with keys’ super sonic heat. Could also have some couch throws. I loved this location and amenities and would love to book this unit again, but wont consider it without the ability to control the AC. I would be willing to pay a premium or fee to alter settings to my comfort. Missing large pots n pans & tongs. Had to borrow from another unit. MGR RESPONSE: We are happy to accommodate when requested. Pricing was competitive, communication was very good.

Great place, great location, pet hair
Unit 525 is really top notch, both the layout and appointments and we enjoyed the club setting and keeping our boat at the marina. All quite ideal, except for the pet hair all over the fabric of the chairs and slider tracks. Two of our group mildly allergic. Odd for a 'pet free' rental we thought.

Christmas in Key Largo
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mariner’s Cove. The villa’s view is unparalleled. It’s proximity to the ocean front pool is great, and it’s location as the end unit provides privacy. There is plenty of space (4 adults/2 children), the kitchen is updated and has all needed items. The property’s landscapes, pools and amenities are well maintained and the staff is pleasant and accommodating.

Will never stay again
There were several issues that made our vacation not enjoyable. First of all there were no grills to cook some steaks or burgers. Second, A/C thermostat was blocked at 73 degrees. If you cook something in the kitchen or the oven be prepared to sweat... Finally, the refrigerator did not have a water fountain. We had to use several packs of bottled water. Horrible for the environment. In summary, I will never book this condo again
