Nice modern property

Staff not friendly Ordered a meal staff didn’t want to serve a sweet after our main course because it was after 9pm

The rooms were spacious and beds were really comfortable. The location was great. Food was lovely. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. I’d definitely stay in this hotel, and any of the other The Inn Collection Group hotels again.

We were in room 14, the cleaning cupboard was next door and the cleaners weren’t exactly quiet but apart from that the stay was spot on.

It was full English breakfast that was delicious and good variety of food.

The check in could be a little bit earlier.

This location was excellent we went walking everyday. The food was very nice good choice at breakfast and although busy on the evening it was cooked and served in a good time. We will definitely look at staying again but do like to go to different place.

Nothing not to like

Spacious, modern and comfortable room that was spotlessly clean, with a large car park and hardworking staff. The surrounding area is fantastic for walking/ cycling but the hotel itself is on the outskirts of town, so there is a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of town. Some nice touches like a free drink if guests forego daily servicing of rooms, which I’d not seen before. Breakfast was plentiful.

There was a very long wait for food in the evening, and although I was pre-warned, it took almost twice as long as suggested. Admittedly, the food was delicious and over-worked staff were very apologetic. I made a decision not to eat there on the second night…..and I’m glad I did as there were notices up to say there was no food left!

Breakfast nice. The location is good for those who like walk into town. Excellent parking.

Good location our room had rear door was nice get fresh air in nice looking interior

Could done with little tlc on paint work /didn’t like no door handles had to let door slam not good for other guests there was no place to hang your do not disturb sign because handles where taken away even though it’s was quite lots things missing off main menu couldn’t have soup because wasn’t any was early and they was running out of food/ first breakfast was basic lot things missing no beans/ scrambled eggs / mushrooms not cooked there was change of staff Thursday breakfast was brilliant everything was there beans scrambled eggs etc

Rooms were clean and comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.

We booked evening meal and were very disappointed.. Many items on menu not available. I.e. for example no fish and chips and pie of the week advertised but not available. What was available wasn't of great quality. At least 5 things on menu not available. Second morning no fruit juice for breakfast only water. Cancelled meal on second night and ate elsewhere.
