This place was so great for our extended family! We had kids 12 and under, up to the grandparents and everyone was happy and comfortable. The room with the bunk beds worked out perfectly for the kids! The beds were incredibly comfortable- we all slept wonderfully. The host Heather was extremely attentive and responsive with any questions we had. We loved our stay!

We have a big family and this house was perfect for all of us. Bonus is two master bedrooms with en suites. The bunk room is great for the teenagers. House was clean and had more than enough towels, linens and supplies. In the winter is it really nice to have a two car garage. Owners supplied plenty of wood for the fireplace. I would highly recommend google mapping the house. You can identify the long driveway and where you have to enter it. It can be a bit confusing.. but looking at an ariel view makes it totally clear where the turn is to get to house. Don’t pass this house up!!

We had a great time at this home. Our group was three small families with kids ranging from 3-14 years old. There was room for all of us and we couldn’t have been more comfortable. The ease of using and close access to Tahoe Donner activities was great for us, and we weren’t far from other activities like horseback riding and the beach when we wanted them. Loved it all and hope to stay at this property again in the future!

Truckee is a wonderful place to visit with soooo many things to do. So very beautiful and the forests are lovely.
The house: Nice big rooms, very comfortable!! Carpets on stairs are worn. I would take night lights as haul stairs are VERY dark at night.
So nice to have 3 bathrooms. Lots of windows in house for fresh air!
You can use the Donner/Tahoe rec area. Cost is 17dollars a person. So.... Plan an entire day there at the various recreation areas. You need to call in advance to reserve things like tennis or pickleball or archery.... There are pools and many nice things to do.
We hiked, rented a ski boat, went rafting, played games......thank you for a wonderful opportunity!!

Overall we enjoyed our stay in this property, easy access to north Lake Tahoe and within truckee city. Beds were comfortable, only problem in summer is that the house gets too hot, but if you leave the windows open few hours before bedtime, it cools down. Would have been nice to have some basic pantry stuff like salt , sugar n oil. But overall highly recommended.

It is a beautiful home with all the amenities that you and your friends could want then some. We had 3 families in the house for a ski vacation and the house was perfect for us. It is very well set-up for a group. Love the location. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend a stay

This is a real nice property that is kept very clean which is what we mostly look for. The layout is very nice to keep all family engaged and big enough for big groups, we ended up with an empty bunkbed. It had snowed the days prior to our arrival so our kids enjoyed so much playing outdoors. The only downside is the location for the driveway entrance which is about 500 feet down the road and when it's dark and with lots of snow is very easy to miss, and there was still ice on the entrance which cause my sisters two wheel drive mini van to not be able to drive up so I had to pull her with my 4x4 SUV, luckily I had taken a strap with hooks.

We are a party of two families and booked this house for a summer weekend trip. The wild fire up north suddenly got out of control right before our trip and the air quality in the whole area was bad. We contacted the owner and she kindly let us delay our trip to October without any problem.
We went in October and it was a very pleasant trip. The house is comfortable and quiet. Only one small issue is we didn’t find any coffee but we were ok because we happened to bring our own instant coffee. All in all, it is a lovely house and the owner is very nice. We had a good time.

I had no other choice to accept and sign. It was nothing mentioned about the contract in the listing.
But, overall it is a nice house and fully furnished. Enough beds and comfortable mattresses. We enjoyed and I do recommend it.

Passes get you in but then you have to pay $16 per person over 6 yrs which was all of our 11 people but one who is 3! We just enjoyed the lake by visiting the State Park for $10 per day and it was fabulous, better than traveling to North Tahoe.
The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, crock pot, mixer, lots of silverware and such but don't expect that the last renter left any spices, etc. as they ask you to take everything out of the cupboards which wasn't a big deal as I try to bring olive oil, some spices, etc. to places.
Living room and dining table were great for a big group - we had fun playing games around the kitchen table each night.
Wish the double beds were queens but we made everything work and it was still great.
Heather was VERY responsive to a few questions I had before our arrival and we had no issues while there, everything was great! We would rent this place again.
Only thing is that the house doesn't have a driveway off of the main road and if you arrived at night it would be extremely difficult to find but the directions from the host helped with that since we came in during daylight,

Staying here was a well spent winter getaway weekend! Clean bedrooms and very spacious especially the kids room (even the driveway). The living room setup was perfect for us to hangout and the kitchen was well stocked with all you need. The owner was very helpful and easy to get in contact with. We had a great time and will definitely do this again!
