Just a Marvelous property on all aspects- views - surfing- snorkeling - closeness tot ocean. We used the Shaka guided driving app to explore the island and loved it. Aloha Greg & Connie from Scottsdale

The views from the condo were spectacular! The afternoons were the best times to watch the turtles in the waves. Surfers start early and go all day. It was also fun to go walk by the rocks at low tide to see crabs. There was a beach with in short walking distance but it wasn’t very big. We needed to drive to better beaches. Locking the door was tricky but Walt was very responsive . They do have nice beach hairs and umbrella available to use. I would enjoy sting again!!

Amazing views and location!

Can’t say enough positive things about this property! The room was great with amazing views. We sat on the balcony and watched sea turtles and surfers. Excellent sunsets! The location was perfect with shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing. The owners were great. Would definitely stay again!

We were only able to stay here 4 nights, but the incredible location and views made us not want to leave. Very beautiful condo, and we watched the surfers for hours! Dearly loved this home & hope we can come back! Mahalo! Julie & Bruce

This condo is in an incredible location with spectacular views. The condo itself is gorgeous and very well equipped. The sounds of the crashing waves is very soothing and mesmerizing at the same time. Very little need for any TV, even after sunset. Awesome sunsets and views of sea turtles riding the waves. Easy access to everything. Absolutely loved our stay and would love to return! Hosts were instantly responsive.

My husband and I had a fabulous time in Walt & Joy's condo. Clean and comfortable with great amenities. We enjoyed the ocean views and watching all the sea life & surfers. We especially loved all the spectacular sunsets from this perfect corner unit! Would highly recommend this condo!! 🌺

This cozy oceanfront condo was amazing. It had everything we needed and we loved being REALLY oceanfront. We enjoyed the waves, beach, surfers, turtles, rainbows, sunsets, snorkelers, restaurant next door, views! So close to the best shops, restaurants, and beaches. Perfect hosts. We would come back!

We loved this property. The 2nd floor unit with 180° views can’t be beat! The sunsets and sunrises are amazing! You barely have to leave home. This morning we saw turtles, whales, dolphins, snorklers and surfers before 9 AM from our lania. We loved being able to walk to the shopping center with lots of eating and entertainment options. The South Shore is really the place to be. Thanks Walt and Joy!

We thoroughly enjoyed the deck overlooking the ocean and spent many hours out there. The owners were quick to reply to any questions we had. Comfortable and relaxing!

First time on Kauai. We sat on the balcony so much. We saw sea turtles every day. Wathing the surfers was also really cool. The condo was really nice and the beds were so soft and easy to get a good nights rest. This is a good central location to get to the different activities on the island. I would definitely stay here again.

First the ease of making the reservation and communicating with the owner was very good. The rental is located conveniently close to South Shore beaches and other attractions. The Condo is clean and the kitchen has a good assortment of cooking tools and some spices/ingredients to cook with. The rental fee was fair and probably a bit of a deal. It was easy to enjoy our stay here.

We loved staying at this condo. The ocean views for sunrise and sunset were spectacular. We watched the surfers every morning and saw sea turtles and dolphins too. Next door is The Beach House which is a great place for food and drinks. You can walk to a very close outside shopping center that also has great restaurants and stores. There's a grocery and a pharmacy over there too. The condo is clean and has everything you need for a beach day or a dinner at home. The beds and comfortable and the space is perfect for four. The owner is quick to respond to any questions you have. I will definitely come bqck.

This is a great place I would recommend to anyone going to Kauai.

Everything was as described. I couldn't imagine having a better view in Poipu of the ocean and sunsets.

Location was exceptional.

The place was stocked so if you forgot something it is probably there. Able to communicate with the owner easily. Property is located in a great spot for all activities. Has all the amenities. Beds are comfortable.

Our family of four ( 12 & 13yr old daughters) had a wonderful stay at your beautiful home. The views and sounds of the crashing waves are incredible. Perfect location with the best shave ice at Riptides across the way. We loved watching the sea turtles and a great surf break out front was awesome. The condo was fully stocked with everything you would need. Beach chairs, towels, umbrella and plenty of coolers and snorkel gear. Thank you Surf Song, we will return again for sure.

The views from Kuhio Shores Condo (especially this unit) are stunning. Not only that, right in front of the building you can jump in for body boarding, surfing & snorkeling with majority of time honu’s are in the area - please respect & stay a safe distance from them. As always, know your ability when entering ocean. If this spot gets too rough for you to go into, just a few steps away is nice beach area to enter. The Beach House Restaurant is next door but I can’t comment on that as most of the cooking was done within the condo unit. It must be good as the place was always filled with people! Communications with Owner’s were excellent. - Mahalo

The view of the ocean and the waves and watching everybody surf right outside your window is fantastic. The Surfin snorkeling, and everything is right outside your property to sum it up it’s a great place to rent for your vacation spot. Don’t really like the idea of having to wash your own towels. We had an early flight to catch in the morning laundry rooms don’t open till 7:30 was really cutting it close and to me that’s just something the property people should be taken care of not the guest

The location of the property and location of the condo in the property were perfect. Beach access beside condo. Maintenance personnel keep the property looking great. The condo was perfect. We ate out most nights but used the kitchen for breakfast and snacks. Everything is well stocked. The owners were wonderful in communicating everything we needed.

Great location

7th year at Surf Song. Magical each Time

Location was wonderful with beautiful view and close to restaurants etc. Upon arrival, we did not find anyone to checkin with but we did already have the code to get in. Disappointed when we found the condo still having previous tenants trash. There was also no parking permit left in the condo so we had to seek that also from the Manager. I left a phone message for the Owner but had to call back the next morning to talk with him. During the night we realized that the AC was not working…blowing warm air and would cut itself off in the middle of the night. This went on for the entire vacation. The owner did say he had a breaker changed prior to our arrival which indicates there were problems already with the AC. The Manager was brought in and eventually an AC company came 3 days later finding that a part was needed that had to be ordered. It would have been nice if we had been told about the AC upfront. Roaches were also found in the hall shower. We had to request more towels and bath mats as they were not there to begin with. The Owners did refund us $350 for the inconvenience but it certainly didn’t make up for the hot temperature in the condo and all the time spent for us to try to get the AC to work per the owner’s request. Remember there are a lot of windows and the west sun hits hard in the afternoon making it really hot. The windows were opened, but because it had been hot for so long, it was hard for the condo to cool off and the breeze wasn’t as plentiful as it could have been. As for Kauai…it was great…..very beautiful island.

We stayed in room 219 and it had to of had the best view of the ocean, the sunsets were magnificent . Seeing all the rainbows in the ocean and watching all the turtles and dolphins, just made our trip the trip of a lifetime. Thank You.

This is a beautiful ocean front condo with everything you need for a great vacation. The views are spectacular - surfers, spinner dolphins, turtles and whales - all from the lanai. The owners were lovely to deal with, very responsive and helpful. We hope to be back again soon!
