Apartment very well suited for a winter stay due to its excellent insolation and its efficient fireplace. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, clean and friendly - thank you. Close to some walks in the area.

The host is extremely nice and did a lot to make us feel at home. The location is inside a peaceful village with very friendly people. The nature around it is every beautiful and a good hiking route can be done from the apartment itself

There are only two small windows in the apartment, which makes it a bit dark, and the supermarket was a 20 minute drive to do groceries.

This was the best place we stayed in on our extended trip to Portugal in September & October 2021. The village of Vilarinho is a friendly place & a great base for walks - 3 signposted walks pass through the middle. The accommodation was of a high standard & excellent value for money & the owner, who runs the local honey shop, was extremely helpful. Very highly recommended.

There was very little not to like about this place. There were no shops in the village, apart from the honey shop, but on some days sellers of fresh food etc visit - the times are posted inside the property. However, it's a good idea to bring what you'll need with you.

The stay was exceptional great. The place was sparkling clean and had everything you need: towels, games, extra blankets, hairdryer, kitchen tools. The owner is extremely friendly and welcomed us. During our stay he was always available in case we needed something. They also own a beekeeping shop with the best honey from Portugal. I can recommend to buy it directly from them. The place is so quiet and directly in nature. We had morning sun on the terrace and afternoon soon on the balcony. We definitely recommend it to everyone to come hear and enjoy some holidays.

Nothing, everything was there what you could ever need while living in a holiday apartment.

Great place to enjoy nature and relax! The house have everything you might need and it's spot clean. Luis is an amazing host and will welcome you with open arms. There are plenty of trails to either hike or bike, nature is all around you.

Casa do Pascoal was a great place to spend the Christmas. The house has everything you need and was very comfortable and warm. Luis, the host was very friendly and made us feel as if we were at home. Recommend that to anyone that wants to spend some time in Montesinho.

What a wonderful place! The house is very comfortable and we totally loved the fireplace in the living room which made the whole place even cosier. There is also a barbecue grill outside which we used almost every night. Vilarinho is a very quiet place and there are many trails around you can take and admire the beauty of the natural park. Definitely recommend to anybody who loves the nature and needs to rest their mind. Also an ideal place to stay at if you take your furry friend with you on holiday.

Great location, although not the house we expected (different picture shown.) However, the property was good and the host lit a log fire for us on arrival. Property owner is a bee keeper and there were samples of honey on a shelf with the prices on them. We bought a large jar after tasting the sample jar we were given. Very good honey!

Electricity kept cutting out, which was a bit off putting. Parking the car was a bit further from the property than we had expected too.
