My husband and I loved our home away from home getaway. The place was very comfortable, clean, filled with everything you need and more. We loved our stay, it was very relaxing. The property manager was wonderful, very responsive and accommodating, thank you for everything!

This was our second straight year staying at this house. We enjoyed it even more this time. It's a great location right on a lake. You can go in the canoe or other boats. We made a fire and had s'mores. It's not too far from some good restaurants. Lots of hikes and other outdoor activities nearby.

The location is great! Everything was nice. Just one thing is not clean enough!

This place is so cute and quaint and a slice of heaven- i booked this place with the lake view in mind- it did not disappoint- the lake view is phenomenal- they offer canoes, a small boat for use, chairs for the dock, coffee maker, toaster etc- the check in process was super easy, and he even allowed for an earlier check-in. The only downside is the beds were small and uncomfortable. The neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet. I would definitely return.

Beautiful and quiet.

The house is very sweet - the property is directly on the water. there are kayaks and a row boat and a canoe. I took out the kayaks everyday. The lake is very small maybe a mile long. Twenty minutes away is Stroudsberg and it's a great town with a terrific saturday morning farmer's market. Some great cafes - and a few really nice restaurants. Try Momento.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay spending our time fishing on the dock, walking our dog around the neighborhood, and exploring the lake on the boat. The property had all the amenities we needed. We took some trips into town which was about a 20 minute drive. Very relaxing and much needed!

Excellent location! Right on the lake as promised. The pictures don’t even do it justice. The house is cozy and outside is lovely. Lots of places outside to relax and enjoy the view and grill. Stores are just 15 minutes away and there’s a lot to do close by. I hope to visit again!

We spent a week at this peaceful place. We needed a week to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. That is exactly what we got. Morning coffee sitting by the lake. Fishing off the dock and in the boat. Both my husband and my son caught some nice bass. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was beautiful which allowed us plenty of outdoor time. The property was clean and comfortable. The host was excellent to deal with and very accommodating.

We really enjoyed it here. What's unique is the location on the lake and the ability to use canoes, fishing equipment, etc. There is a great dock where you can sit and look out over the lake. We rode the canoe over to the beach/playground area. There are numerous good restaurants 10-20 minutes away. All in all, a wonderful vacation home!

Such a great location and outdoor property! Lakeside firepit and the dock for morning coffee, evening drinks and fishing is amazing. Fantastic proximity to DE Water Gap for Appalachian Trail hiking and general outdoor fun! Canoe is nice for a trip around the lake. Hard to leave….

Convenient location, nice landlord who wanted to make us happy. The cottage was not as clean as we would like - teapot and coffee maker full of grounds, windows dirty. Certain amenities that were on the listing online (like air conditioner) were not available when we arrived. I’d like to see a more accurate listing and a better maintained property.

The amenities and location of this property are incredible, quiet lake front with a large dock. Fire pits, seating areas, kayaks, boats and canoes. Lake Monroe is quiet and perfect for a weekend getaway. The home is just what you need, it could use a few upgrades, but we were never inside so it didn't matter. Owner is very responsive and super friendly. We will stay here again!

The location was perfect. Right on the lake. The owner was very helpful and quick to reply. A camp fire and nice view of the nice sky couldn’t have gotten any better

Everything was beautiful with our stay. Lovely way to start off my fishing and grilling season. I am hoping to be able to come back soon and take on more of the sights and surrounding areas. Two days just wasn't enough time to enjoy all that the Poconos has to offer.

The relaxation started from the moment we walked in the door. The location is perfect, the house had everything that we needed and the view was the best part. It was a little cold and windy so we took advantage of the wood stove inside. We got some fishing in from the dock, went to a very nice dinner and hit the Mount Airy Casino. All in all, this was exactly what we needed in a weekend get away. We can't wait to go back!

The house itself was wonderful. It’s well kept, clean and has all you need plus some games as well. It’s very cozy and quaint we felt right at home. Linens were provided and towels which was great. About a 20 minute ride into town to get anything you need and you can hit that up on your way in as well, but we went in a couple of time and really enjoyed the scenic route. Less than 2 hours from the Bronx we found a totally different world. We enjoyed taking the canoe out, cooking dinner outside and relaxing around the fire looking at the stars.

Gino was very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our stay. His space is quaint, ideal for a small family and their pup. It had all the cooking supplies you need (FYI minus a microwave - which was totally fine with us). And they supply everything you need for a great stay by the lake.

Perfect location on the lake. Fire it was enjoyable as was walking trail.

This cozy bungalow tucked away on the lake. Make sure you set your alarm at least once to check the breathtaking sunrise. Access to everything on site. Comfy bed too:). We had a family of deer come to our little slice of heaven twice for breakfast- grazing along the water line. I spent a lot of time in the lakeside hammock and my husband on the lake fishing. Gino was very helpful and responsive :) we can’t wait to go again!!!!!!

Caught 4 Bass the first night. Mountain Biked 100 miles over 3 separate days. Beautiful Lake, fun fires.

The house is well kept with two bedrooms and a bathroom as well as a full kitchen and living area with a smart TV (and TV's in both bedrooms, too). There is air conditioning (and heat, though we did not need it during our summer stay), an electric stove and full oven, plenty of cookware and utensils, and linens are provided. The property is gorgeous with a large dock, and Gino provides access to two canoes, a two-person fishing boat with an electric motor, and an aluminum row boat. He also provides fishing rods and lures. There are two fire pits, a charcoal grill, and lots of outdoor seating. The WiFi is very fast and reliable - we had only one connection issue during our whole stay (which happened after a large thunderstorm) but Gino responded immediately and had it fixed right away. It's a great place to stay and we'll definitely look to return for our next trip.

Beautiful with the lake right out back. They have the equipment to get your vacation jump started; boat, fishing rods and 2 places to have campfires. Quiet, serene and relaxing enough to let the stress melt away. We would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

Gino, Was a good host. He also calls me back whenever i leave a message. WiFi was very helpful otherwise no phoe signal. A cable or Dish will be helpful to watch some TV. Will return again. Please update the house # on the website. Thanks.

This place is amazing beautiful property right on lake monroe with private dock. The property owner is very nice and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend this place for your next getaway.
