Die Mindestmiete beträgt 1 Monat, Langzeitmiete ist erwünscht und wird bevorzugt. Das Haus verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer. 3 davon im ersten Stock, jeweils mit eigenem Bad und großem Kleiderschrank. Eines der Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und das zweite Schlafzimmer hat 2 Einzelbetten. Die Master-Suite mit einem Kingsize-Bett befindet sich im zweiten Stock und verfügt über einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und ein schönes Badezimmer. Die Master-Suite hat auch eine große Terrasse mit Blick auf den See und den Golfplatz. Die Master-Suite ist nach Süden ausgerichtet und verfügt über große Fenster. Sie bietet viel Licht, Leben und eine großartige Aussicht auf den See.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice, well equipped, with an excellent distribution of the rooms and a gorgeous view of the lake. The master bedroom is fantastic and there is a 4th full bedroom to use. San Gil is a beautiful and safe neighborhood with a Club House that serves delicious meals for a good price. There are plenty of great places to visit in the area, don´t miss San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan, Bernal and Mansion Galindo.
We would love to go back.

Great house and neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay! The house is very nice, well equipped, with an excellent distribution of the rooms and a gorgeous view of the lake. The master bedroom is fantastic and there is a 4th full bedroom to use. San Gil is a beautiful and safe neighborhood with a Club House that serves delicious meals for a good price. There are plenty of great places to visit in the area, don´t miss San Miguel de Allende, Tequisquiapan, Bernal and Mansion Galindo.
We would love to go back.

Lovely place at a great price.
I wish I could say there's places like this one in Chicago but there isn't. This place is isolated enough for our family to disconnect from the life in a big city yet close enough to town to not lack any of the amenities. Cristina was quick to reply and help us out all throughout our trip and I hope we get to stay with her again.
The place was clean and well upkept in a gorgeous location that made our family feel safe and comfortable. Gracias Cristina!

La casa es preciosa, con una decoración muy bonita e impecable y de buen muy buen gusto. La cocina es amplia y con todos los accesorios. La vista al lago que es única y maravillosa!
Mi familia y yo disfrutamos cada momento, ya que es un lugar muy tranquilo, fuimos a pasear a Bernal y a Tequisquiapan, están muy cerca. San Gil es muy bonito, seguro y la gente muy amable.
Hay un Super Q en donde compramos leche, huevos y botanas, también hay un restaurante de pizzas y pollo, muy rico y sencillo. Hay otras tiendas que venden queso, leche, verduras, frutas y carnes.
No hay necesidad de salir de compras. San Juan del Rio es una ciudad Colonial bonita con todo. Fuimos a Liverpool, es pequeño, pero mi hija necesitaba un traje de baño.
Paty la cocinera es muy buena y amable. Cristina estuvo pendiente de responder a nuestras preguntas inmediatamente.
No tuvimos que ver a nadie, pues la casa tiene chapa de combinación así que la llegada fue fácil y tranquila.
Si esta pensando en rentarla, usted como nosotros quedara sorprendido por el lugar, por la bella casa y el servicio.

Preciosa casa, única ubicación!

We want to thank Cristina for all the help we received from her. The house was just gorgeous, lots of details, clean, everything working perfectly, much more of what we expected. The lake view is beautiful, specially the sunsets. San Gil is a great place to rest and the surrounding towns are a treat. Our friends and us were delightful with the house, no complains, just gratitude. We hope to come back soon!

San Gil es un gran lugar para descansar y para recorrer localidades cercanas de gran interés turístico y culinario en el centro de México.
La casa se encuentra en excelentes condiciones y tiene una ubicación privilegiada con vista al lago. Todo, instalaciones, muebles, decoración y utensilios, se encuentra limpio y en perfectas condiciones.

Gorgeous lake home with fantastic second floor master suite with very large balcony!
My wife and I stayed here for just under four weeks and we loved it. We walked around the lake almost every day (70 minutes total), ate outside both by the lake and on the balcony, and were really able to unwind and recharge.
With the wifi I could work every day.
Shopping for groceries in San Juan Del Rio was easy, and if we needed something small there are stores in San Gil that sell food, vegetables, cheese and pizza (they deliver).
We enjoyed eating dinner at Campo Bravo, Galindo, and Corral de la Vaca, all reasonably priced with excellent food. For breakfast we ate at the Club House in San Gil overlooking the lake.
We rented a car and driving around was easy with the MapQuest app.
We recommend this place and we will return! Thanks Cristina--your attention to detail and commitment to perfection shows!

Love it and will go back.
My wife and I had the opportunity to get out of Queretaro for one night and experience a romantic getaway. The house is in a gorgeous and isolated country club called San Gil, a 20min drive from the big city “Queretaro.” We were treated promptly at arrival to this community and ended up grabbing snacks, drinks and groceries for one day at the local store, which I’m happy to say it had everything we needed. The drive into the house was scenic and soothing, something about the air there seems just magical. Upon arrival at the house we were delighted to see the place, the pictures don’t do it justice as the view from the main room is outstanding. Cleanliness didn’t disappoint either as the house had the smell of new and fresh! We only had the chance to stay for one night but we will surely come back for a longer getaway.
Coming by yourself, with your significant other or with your whole family should be fun as there are plenty of green areas and I can only imagine the lake is a playground for kids over the summer, not that it was cold at all over the winter.
Communication with the owner was great. This place is a hidden GEM and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting or wanting a getaway.

Great stay at San Gil
We loved staying at San Gil on our recent trip to Queretaro.
at first, we didn´t expected it to be so far out from the city, but this turned out to be one of the best features the house has to offer.
its location is great if you plan to visit the nearby towns, we enjoyed day trips to san juan del río, peña de bernal and tequisquiapan.
getting to this "pueblos magicos" is a short drive from San Gil.
The house is beautiful, well kept and its location overlooking the lake makes it all the better, its peaceful and quiet and really lends its self for enoying quality family time.
Patricia, the house keeper, is friendly and warm, she even cooked somo seriously delicious pozole for us!
We loved our time here and will definetly consider coming back!

Wonderful lake house, perfect vacation.
We stayed at San Gil for 4 weeks. We were a family of 6 including my parents. What a great place to stay! The views to the lake and the large terrace facing the lake and golf course were our favorite part of the house, my kids enjoyed swimming on the lake every day.
The trail around the park was wonderful to run, so pretty and convenient for the 'elders' to get some nice walks in too. The kids made some friends, San Gil is a friendly place.
We felt very safe at all times, San Gil security staff is very efficient, only residents have access to San Gil.
The location served us wonderfully, Queretaro the capital city has interesting museums and places to visit within 30 minutes of the property!
This house is in great shape, nicely decorated and was extremely comfortable, clean, quiet and easy to enjoy, the cleaning lady was a bless, she knows what to do and gave us some extra hours of rest!
Mexico has the best weather! No AC or heat needed, we were able to open the Windows and let fresh air in (what a treat!).
The house was very affordable for our party of 6. We opted to have more meals in than we originally planned for since it was so convenient and comfortable to just eat there!
The golf course is amazing; We even took some golf lessons.
San Juan del Rio the closest city is small and charming has everything we needed, great restaurants, grocery stores, even a Sam’s store!
Queretaro and San Miguel Allende are also very close, we never thought this are of Mexico would be so beautiful and affordable, peaceful and eternally sunny!
We felt in love with San Miguel Allende and stayed there one night at a beautiful Boutique hotel.
Cristina the owner was always available to help and answer to our questions, she does a great job and knows how to make you feel at home.
Leaving San Gil was the most difficult part of our trip. Perfect vacation made even better by finding this great rental.

Vacaciones inolvidables
Pasamos 7 días en la casa del lago San Gil, y nos encanto todo, el lugar es precioso, la casa esta impecable, limpia y muy bien equipada, las recamaras son muy amplias y los baños muy cómodos, todo funciona muy bien, es muy acogedora y decorada con muy buen gusto, lo mejor es la vista, es la mejor de San Gil, además es muy privada ya que la vista que tiene es totalmente al lago, y la calle es cerrada, no hay trafico más que de 2 casas mas, prácticamente nadie paso por la calle, en las tardes caminábamos por el parquecito que esta a una cuadra, el atardecer es precioso, no necesitamos salir más que por comida , hay un Super Q dentro del fraccionamiento, y un buen restaurant en casa club, San Juan del Rio esta a 10 minutos para comprar en la Comercial Mexicana, Querétaro esta a media hora y San Miguel Allende a 1 ½ hrs. Fuimos un día de compras es un lugar divino, vale la pena pasar un día ahí.
Volveremos pronto, ya que nos enamoramos del lugar, la Sra. Cristina es muy profesional y amable su asistente nos recibió y se puso a nuestras ordenes para cualquier duda, fue una semana inolvidable.
Recomiendo la propiedad, es lugar es mágico.

We stayed at Cristina’s lake house in late November of this year (2011) with some close friends. Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was nicely decorated in a contemporary Mexican style with nice colors and textures. The lower floor is unique, invites you to enjoy the peaceful lake view, the large glass doors open directly to the lake.
My favorite place at the house is most definitely the terrace and its phenomenal views of the entire lake and golf course. We started and ended each day on the terrace with a great Mexican cup of coffee and appetizers. In addition the living area on the first level is just delightful. The house is very clean and in excellent condition. An additional bonus to our stay was the one block away park and its charming paths. We walked daily to relax and enjoy the perfect weather. San Juan del Rio, downtown area and other surrounding spots are easy to get to, taxis are inexpensive and easy to book. Cristina the owner was great and truly a blessing. When we return to Mexico we will most assuredly stay at this beautiful house, again.

We were pleasantly impressed that the home looked so much better when we arrived than the photos show. The balcony off the master suite, overlooking the lake, really made it hard to come downstairs and join the real world! Needless to say, the home was tastefully decorated, very clean, and the owner a pure delight to deal with. She was professional, friendly, and always answered our emails quickly.
We walked around the lake in the mornings (roughly 2 miles) enjoyed the few dinners we had at the club house.
We also liked the fact that the house is on a cul-de-sac, so it is a very private location.
We completely recommend this property.
