Superbe adresse à Kampot, endroit magnifique où tout a été pensé et très bien réalisé pour le bien être de ses hôtes. Chants d'oiseau au bord de la piscine, deco contemporaine raffiné. Le petit déjeuner est super copieux et délicieux servi dans une belle vaisselle. Nous avions pris la suite et je ne regrette pas. On se serait cru dans un appartement avec une petite terrasse. Pauline nous a accueilli et reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse, elle donne plein de conseils pour visiter et pour diner ou faire du shopping. On a loué des scooter et tout se fait facilement. La ville de Kampot est très sympa, on peut facilement y séjourner 3-4 jours (Kep, les marais salants, les exploitations de Poivre, Bokor, la rivière ...)

The interior design of this hotel is exquisite. Its lush internal gardens and pool, surrounded by art deco design makes for a beautifully tranquil and cool environment. Our bedroom was huge with a fabulous bathroom and gorgeous balcony. We also had views down into the pool area. The staff were super friendly and helpful, with lots of local tips. The bonus here was Gin Club! Discounted gin whilst relaxing by the poolside. Everything was excellent.

we had a fantastic stay at hotel Old Cinema, it was the highlight of our stay in Kampot! the staff really looked after us so well, they were amazing! the hotel is really beautiful, you can see there is great attention to detail, a real gem! The room was large enough and had everything we could have needed. The breakfast (and food in general) was delicious, and very beautifully presented, i couldn't wait to wake up to have it. Fantastic project, well done to the team! We hope you manage to do something to bring back to life the Royal Cinema closeby too.

Very spacious room with large comfortable terrace. Excellent breakfasts…the best we have had in Cambodia. Very helpful staff and beautifully decorated.

More sun loungers round the pool rather than cushioned mats on the ground would have been better.

Equipo de chicas con una gestion de 10, desayunos impresionantes de verdad, servicio top, agua rellenable en las habitaciones, juegos de mesa para tomar algo en el bar y pasar un rato agradable....quedamos a cenar una noche y tb muy bien....no utilizamos piscina, es mega pequeña...pero para mi servia mas de decoracion que para utilizar...dormimos muy bien, habitacion muy bonita...

El pueblo de Kampot necesita inversion ....no obstante nota potencial y que poco a poco volvera a tener encanto ...no es culpa del hotel....son una luz que brilla muy fuerte en medio de todo esto......nos gusto mas Kampot que Kep...para los que lo dudan recomendariamos quedarse aqui en este hotel y hacer excursion de dia a Kep para comer en zona crab market, pero no hace falta quedarse alli a dormir.

The Hotel Old Cinema is a beautiful hotel and is in a prime position in Kampot. The staff are lovely and breakfast is amazing.

Die Gastgeberin Pauline hat uns herzlich empfangen und uns gleich einmal einen kleinen Kampot-Crash-Kurs gegeben (wo gibts die besten Nudeln, wo guten Kaffee, wo sollte man als Westler nicht unbedingt essen, welche Strasse evtl. meiden, welche Ausflüge sollte man auf keinen Fall verpassen etc.). Jedes einzelne Detail stimmt im Hotel Old Cinema, alles ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Unsere Suite war schlicht und einfach super gemütlich, mit einem wunderbaren Balkon, einer Sofaecke, herrlichen Wandbildern, einem sehr luxuriösen Badezimmer. Das Hotel hat zwei Innenhöfe, einer mit Pflanzen, einer mit einem Pool, beide erholsame Oasen. Das Frühstück ist absolut top, Mittag- und Abendessen (unbedingt das Sesame Beef mit Kaffir-Limettenblättern bestellen) der Hammer, alles wird wunderschön präsentiert. Eine Top-Empfehlung!

Location is excellent, everything walkable In the centre of town. They have a beautiful inner garden, nicely decorated in art deco style. Very friendly owners that help organizing tours etc

Breakfast was a bit light

Elegantly restored old Chinese cinema in a beautiful yellow, open-air hotel. Room was quite luxurious, especially after staying in hostels, home stays and eco villages, complete with a shower, TV, robes, a small balcony, tea, coffee and all modern amenities. Beautiful, refreshing pool, cool jungle greenery, relaxing lounge chairs, poolside bar/restaurant and friendly and attentive staff. Super friendly, part-owner and staff greeted us with a “welcome drink” and an unexpected room upgrade, since there were so few guests! This is high-class living!

Hard to come up with any negatives. The bed was quite firm but I still slept great. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating that it’s impossible to fault any of the hospitality.

Great place to stay in Kampot. Excellent management and staff. The building has a lot of atmosphere, including the internal garden and swimming pool. Breakfast choices were great and filling. Was given a room upgrade as mid-week hotel wasn't full.

Small issue just for me with back issues. Wide wooden frame around bed made it difficult to get in and out easily.

This hotel is stunning and was pretty much built from scratch by the owners! The staff were a delight, as was everything - the room was so dreamy and spacious (we were very kindly upgraded for our honeymoon), the pool, the food, the cocktails - all so good! Great location in the center, just a couple of blocks from the river. We hired a scooter through the hotel for $6usd/24h, which was meant we could explore further afield on our terms. And out of the range of activities they suggested/recommended - we did a buggy tour with Kampot Adventures, which was fantastic! Can't imagine a better place to stay in Kampot!

Chose this hotel because of its quirkiness and we were not diasappointed. Room a bit on the small side but had everything you wanted. Great breakfast choices. Amazing common areas with pool. Super friendly staff, Pauline the host was great. Thorougly recommend this hotel.

My friend and I stayed at Hotel Old Cinema for 2 nights and we've had such a good time. The building itself is spectacular, previously the building was used as a theatre and cinema and while it is a hotel now there's still a lot of cool architectural features that have been kept in tact. The moment you walk in, the hotel has a very good feeling/atmosphere. The staff is very kind and helpful and provide you with useful tips on what to do in and around Kampot. The interior of the room is amazing, you can really feel the art-deco theme - which matches the vibe of the building perfectly. The bed was really comfortable, the AC was very clean (which can be hard to find in Cambodia sometimes), the bathroom felt very luxurious and had all the amenities you're looking for. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the lush garden downstairs with the most beautiful tropical plants. Beside the room, we also really enjoyed the restaurant and swimming pool area, surrounded by plants and with some of the best service I experienced in Cambodia. The food we had was of really good quality and presented nicely. We had a great afternoon hanging around the pool and enjoyed the happy hour gin & tonics (don't forget to try these!). I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Old Cinema and I can't wait to stay again!
