It was great. We enjoyed the porch so much m, reading, eating and drinking coffee watching the boats and just looking at the beautiful lake from the porch.

Quiet area. Relaxing. Wooded and shady. Outside chairs for sitting in the yard, a grill, and a great hammock! Screened in porch full of rocking chairs and a giant table for eating as a family! Outside shower is also another plus. The inside of the home is bursting w a lifetime of memories made there in the past. The only thing that wasnt in our favor, was the lake level. We werent able to bring our boat to the property, but that's no fault of the owner. Always be sure to check that info ahead of time if boating is in your plans! Otherwise, absolutely wonderful and I hated having to leave. Host also gets 5+ stars!

If this place were pressure washed and deep cleaned, I'd give it perfect score. The lake was relaxing & gorgeous!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a small lake house that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and accommodating staff who ensured my stay would be as pleasant as possible. Had a great a few days relaxing at the lake. The water table was low but still caught some catfish off the dock. Was looking forward to a soak in the tub, but it was a stand up shower instead. Need to update the photos and description on your site! It was quiet, beautiful scenery and just what we needed. We will be back!!!

the only issues was trash removal which we could not due we had to check out at 12 and dump did not open until after 2pm and we did not have means to carry it with us after packing and the other issue the refrigerator would not keep anything cold in freezer or frig part. We will be staying there again :)

This place was perfect for us. Me and my beautiful wife had the most relaxing weekend vacation ever. The view was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was when we had to leave. I think me and the sky cried when we had to leave. Absolutely beautiful the whole time, until the day we left. Rained the whole morning. I feel your pain lol. Can’t wait to go again. Money well spent.

It was a great getaway. Place was quiet and relaxing rain or shine! Will definitely book it again!

Beaver Creek is a hidden gem and the cabin fits in perfectly. We left the cabin 3 times during our 6 day stay. Once to rent a pontoon, another to see live music at the Beavers Den and lastly to enjoy dinner out at Dock 97 (all three locations 4 minutes from the cabin) The cabin was comfortable and had so much character, even including older family photos. We utilized the outdoor shower everyday after fishing on the dock and sitting on the sandy beach, all attached to the property. The screened in porch was always an option if we wanted to be outside but in a more shaded area. The owners were available and so kind. We are already planning our visit next year.

This place is gorgeous so serene. The host was amazing she has virtually everything you need. Great getaway for anyone, hands down we will be going back.

We enjoyed our stay in this vintage family cottage. It was amply supplied with cooking/eating gear, and plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. My only criticism is that the queen bed mattress is NOT firm (as described online). It is soft and sags toward the middle. I enjoyed eating breakfast on the porch while watching the birds, and the early morning fishermen.

Judy was the most wonderful host, who communicated exceptionally well. Which isn’t surprising considering she’s an accomplished author/journalist :) she was flexible with us, and accommodated us warmly. There were a couple of curve balls I had to throw to her (questions about surrounding properties, needed items for boat rental, opinions on certain things around the lake etc) and she was just a saint! The cabin was perfect for myself, friend and kiddo PLUS my Silver Lab Gracie LOVED the screened in porch. The fishing was incredible! Caught a big 18pound blue cat off the dock, lost a 30 pounder, but caught 3 5 pounders too and ate them up off the fryer I bought! I had to extend my dates a couple of times and she was willing to work with me and I’ll never forget the memories made there, and will make more there again, soon!

Cabin was clean and well stocked. Improvements to bath with a step in shower with shower bars was roomy and bright. Outside shower stall is awesome if nice weather. Beds are somewhat “soft” but manageable. Beautiful lake view and great dock. Judy was a excellent host and always responded quickly. Will recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! What an amazing and cozy cabin and a BEAUTIFUL location and piece of property!! We are so grateful that we had the honor of staying at "The Cabin" and we are hoping to be back soon!

This property has a beautiful view of the lake! The cabin itself was everything we needed. My 17YO son and myself came for a weekend of fishing to celebrate my birthday, however the weather did not cooperate. It was rainy, windy, and extremely cold for the middle of March so we were not able to fish. We were not able to enjoy the beautiful back porch either since it was damp and cold. We sat inside and watched TV. It was nice being somewhere other than home but not the fishing weekend we envisioned. At two hundred a night we were sure disappointed, although the weather does not change the fact that the cabin had everything we needed. We cooked a couple of meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The little wall heaters were pumping the heat as hard as they could with the temp dropping to 25 degrees one night and the cabin temp stayed comfy. Beds were also very comfortable. The cleaning fee seems a little steep since you have to take your trash with you and bring your own towels and sheets. (There was a hammer left in the sink when we arrived and cans and blanket in the backyard.) But we would definitely return with hope of better weather next time. Thank you for sharing your cabin!
