My friend and I were the only guests at the time (mid May 2021), so we had that side of the house to ourselves! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for cooking. Great for people traveling around the whole country because they have a washer/dryer that they let us use!

Not a bad thing in case a traveler needs assistance, but the house is connected to (I would assume) the owners' side. To be respectful, my friend and I didn't want to speak/laugh loudly after hours at night. This would probably apply even more when other guests are staying there, as the rooms are quite close to one another.

The accommodation is in a good location. Close to Asbyrgi and Dettifoss. We stayed here, because it was close to the starting point of doing hikes as from The Asbyrgi visitor centre. The accommodation is exactly as on pictures. Lots of space for all the guests. 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms. Also you can do your laundry here which was very convenient. We enjoyed it very much!

Guesthouse is from two parts, one part has 4 bigger rooms, wc, bathroom and a kitchen, another part has 4 smaller 2 bed rooms, kitchen and a bathroom. Each part has their own entrance and can be separated with doors. Everything was clean and modern. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer,it was really usefull!

Twin room was really small, it is just for sleeping. Very little place to put your stuff
