Exceptional location, very comfortable apartment and particularly well-equipped. Owner was responsive. It was lovely to be able to see the streets and historic buildings of Saint Emilion from the window.

There couldn’t be a better place to stay in Saint-Emilion! The apartment is very nice, comfortable and includes everything you need to eat in, which also being right in the center of town for eating out and seeing this quaint old town. The hospitality by the owner was beyond exceptional!! We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Centrally located in the village. Fully equipped kitchen with all the basic essentials to self cater. Air conditioning in each room. Laundry. Secure garage on site. A bathroom on each level.
The narrow spiral staircase to the bedrooms could be a challenge for large luggage and some people

Sam was very responsive each time I contacted him. He was warm and welcoming -- even left us a dozen eggs from his chickens. The house was totally equipped.
The stairs were too challenging -- steep and curved halfway through. While the location was great, it was very difficult to drive there. The hosts could provide detailed directions.

The location is perfect for exploring town. Steps away from everything yet a quiet street. The private garage is a big plus and easy to get to (not meant for large cars, though.) The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the showers are great. There are 3 bedrooms & one full bath up a rather narrow spiral stairs and a second full bath on the living level. Communication was good.

Facilities including washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer, coffee machine. 3 large double bedrooms with very comfortable beds and luxury bedding and plenty of soft towels. The property was very clean and is ideally located in the centre of Saint Emilion with its own private parking. We were greeted by Sam, the friendly owner, who met us at the property to hand over the keys and run through things with us. We would highly recommend anyone coming to this area to stay at La Petite Fontaine. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely apartment in a great location in the centre of Saint-Emillion. Sam was very helpful, friendly and made us feel very at home. He went above and beyond to welcome us. The showers were strong with plenty of hot water for four people. The apartment has aircon, which was needed as it was very hot when we visited. The kitchen is well equipped and the cupboards were stocked with the essentials. Definitely recommend staying here!
The only issue was that the other guests left late, so we had to wait to get into the apartment. However, Sam made up for that by showing us where we could leave the car, where we could have a drink and generally making us feel very welcome.

Great location right in the centre of town. A really comfortable and well equipped property. The owner Sam was very helpful in helping us park on arrival (although property has its own garage, which is a great advantage here as free parking is hard to come by, we came in two cars).
Nothing. Only thing to be aware of is that the garage entrance is quite tight so a large car may not fit (although I did just manage to squeeze my Volvo xc40 in).

Perfect location! Super clean and very nice house. Very comfortable for our family of 4 plus 2 grandparents. Sam is a wonderful host and provided so many great pieces of advice and recommendations. We would love to stay again next time we are in the area!

The property is typically French and in a fantastic spot in the centre of St Emillion. We did have minor problems with Wifi and aircon but Im sure if we had contacted the owner these might have been resolved. We were not so bothered to do this, and so it did not lessen our stay. A mirror in the front bedrooms would be useful for hair and make up. The house is truly well equipped otherwise and we would not hesitate to recommend or stay again. Thanks to Agnes for a great stay and good communication
