This was our second time staying at Cabin in the Pines and it is one of our favorite rentals. It has everything you need to feel at home and hope to return for a third time.

Very relaxing and wonderful place to spend a vacation. So close to the White Mountains and access to your very own private beach. We spend the day in Portland Maine which is just over an hour away. You should definitely make the drive to check out the Portland Head Light (lighthouse). Some of the best views on the north eastern coast. The place is a steal considering where you’re at. Added bonus is it’s pet friendly. We highly recommend a stay here and if you have a problem Tim is quick to respond. 5/5. The Morgans.

We loved the location and layout of the home. It was kid/pet friendly! Open floor plan made it easy to be together and the bedrooms provided a space to get away if needed.

Lovely house, even nicer than the pictures show. Only two minor issues - when we showed up at the check in time the cleaning person was still cleaning so we had to drive around a bit before she finished and we could go in. We didn’t kind it much but thought I’d note. Also they use scented trash bags and two of our party are very sensitive to scents so we had to put the scented bags outside (even when put in the basement you could still smell them) and buy our own bags. Again, not a big issue and was easily fixed. The food in the area was some of the best food I’ve had in ages! The community is very cute and we hope to return some time in the summer or spring

We came up for a few days for February break. It was a cozy, clean cabin with some toys and books for my kids (3 and 5 yo). The owners were helpful for activity ideas and available for any needs that came up. The cabin was warm but the floor was cold so bring slippers!

Friendly neighborhood and a wonderful stay!

It is a really great to come and rest ! The place is very clean and quiet. You can chose to stay inside and enjoy playing board games/ watching Tv or going outside to walk around the lake. The place is spacious (we were 4 adults and 4 kids). Really great Thanksgiving weekend !

It was a surprisingly spacious, cute cabin in the woods and it was wonderfully close to my cousin's wedding at Page Hill. The only downside was when we went to check in, there was a woman there with a child who said she still needed to clean so we could not check in at 3 as originally thought. We went to get groceries and came back an hour later and they were just leaving. The floors were still wet when we went in, having just been mopped, so it was clean but a bit slippery. More importantly, they were both unmasked so we ended up spending the first 45m-1h of our time in the rental with our masks on and the windows open to air things out (thank goodness it was still warm enough.) I would recommend in the future having someone come to clean earlier than when the rental is supposed to be available and also having the person cleaning it wear a mask.

Overall, our stay was “OK.” I truthfully did not love the property and thought the photos online were deceiving, making it look as though the lake was in the backyard. When we first pulled into the driveway, it honestly looked like people hadn’t been here in months. Everything looked overgrown, leaves everywhere, that I actually swept the deck because there were so many leaves. The TV turns on but couldn’t get it to connect to any channel. Two of the beds (bunk beds) were completely stripped with new linens placed on top (for us to make) but all of the other beds were made, which made it confusing as to not being sure if the sheets were clean? Why were two beds stripped but the others not? There was a Twinkie wrapper under the solo queen bed and a few Bobby pins on the ground. There are children’s clothes (underwear and bathing suit) in a nightstand in the bunk bed room. Definitely questioned the cleanliness. Prior to even checking in, the owner called me and asked me to purchase a microwave (and would reimburse) as the guests before us said it didn’t work. I thought this was strange. We made the best of our mini getaway and enjoyed our family time, but will not be rebooking here.

Everything was perfect. Little private pond beach was easily accessible with plenty of kayaks available to explore.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cute little cabin! It was very well maintained and homey feeling. The location is great with an easy drive to the lake and playground! Would definitely recommend.

This place has all the amenities, beach chairs, outdoor grill, fire pit, beach towels, rackets, basketball, canoe and life jackets, fishing poles, bikes, lots of games, well stocked kitchen, and a Deck. The location includes your own private beach with a parking pass, basketball hoops and a playground. You're right around the corner from White lake State Park I'm close to several other lakes as well.

We had a restful week’s vacation at the cabin. Everything was provided. It was very comfortable. We loved the proximity to the lake and being able to walk safely in the neighborhood. The cabin was a good home base to explore the surrounding area. We had a great time and would book again.

Our stay at Tim's cabin was nothing short of amazing. We visited for a relaxing girls weekend and only ventured out to picnic by the water; the house is extremely cozy and spacious, and they had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quaint and easy to find, it almost feels like you're camping when walking the dirt roads down past the woodsy cabins to the most beautiful lake and mountain view a short walk from the house. Exceeded expectations, thank you for a great stay and I definitely recommend booking this cozy cabin getaway!

Overall, we had a nice stay. The cabin wasn’t cleaned when we arrived. It was easy to get in touch with the owner. He took care of things right away and gave us a refund for the night. A gesture that we very much appreciated. The cabin had everything we needed for a short stay. It was a short walk to a playground and a beach. We enjoyed a fireplace and board games. When we didn’t feel like cooking, good restaurants were just a quick car ride away. This is an ideal summer vacation place for a family with young children.

My husband and I stayed at Tim's property for our honeymoon. The property itself was fantastic - quiet, relaxing, super peaceful - definitely Cabin in the Pines! The dogs loved the yard and walks in the neighborhood. Tim was great - we decided to stay an extra night and bring our dogs and Tim was prompt with responses and easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic time at Cabin in the Pines. It was clean, had everything we needed. Wonderful place to ride bikes, nice beach, lake which we enjoyed very much. Not too far of a drive to do stuff, as there is so much to do in that part of NH. Close to Maine too. Tim was easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions right away Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin is conveniently located to access all the attractions in the Mount Washington Valley and also the Lakes Region, with the added bonus of having a lovely beach and lake, and playground in the neighbourhood.

Everything was great with the property, the canoe, and the lake. We enjoyed the area immensely.

Overall everything was amazing!! The house was a great size, we loved the privacy, the beach was awesome and all the little extras for the kids like bikes and pool noodles all helped make the trip more fun. The only "complaints" I would have were that there was no AC.. Made for tough night sleeps.. windows did not offer a great breeze in the real heat of the day/ night. So the hot ar felt Stuck in the house.. Fans were helpful but the house is so big it didnt make a huge difference. The ony other thing was the double in the back room was very uncomfortable/hard.. other than that it was amazing.. !! Thank you

This cabin was in a great spot - centrally located near a ton of good hiking spots and only a short walk to the private lake. The space was a nice and shady for that summer heat and it was great to have such a good size deck outside to sit around and enjoy some food. At night we were flooded with the stars! Would recommend for couples and for those traveling with kids!

This was a very relaxing getaway for my husband and I. We loved the cabin! It was so nice to be able to bring our puppies and enjoy some time alone. It's a very quiet neighborhood with great beach amenities. We were hoping this property was directly on the pond, but overall a great stay. Thank you to the owners for the quick replies! We felt at home.
