Great location. comfortable beds.

We noticed a damp/mouldy smell on arrival. When we found a wet mouldy patch on the carpet in the master bedroom, we notified the owner, who’s response was to ask us to not use the bath so it could dry out and be resealed when we leave, and sorry for any inconvenience. We found thick black mould on the corner of the bath. half of the dishes in the cupboard were unclean/ and chipped cups. Someone else’s opened half used pack of noodles on the cupboard. It just so happens our son became very unwell on the trip, and I’m certain breathing in mould spores is no good for your health at the best of times. I have asthma which flared up due to the damp.

Very comfortable, very well equipped and peaceful. We had a great few days with the dogs, lots of lovely walks nearby. Would love to stay again.

Play park was only 1 swing which was very high I could not reach never mind a child and 2 bouncy things.

Location was perfect for exploring the area and the accommodation had almost all we needed. Would definitely come back if planning to visit the area again in future.

No wi-fi and very little/patchy phone reception in general, which means needing to plan and book ahead. We knew this in advance though.

Good sized lodge, with a large master bedroom and a generous amount of outside decking. Clean and comfortable. A good base for exploring Aviemore and the surrounding area.

This is stated in the description, but the lack of wifi and a dependable mobile signal is real. The lodge also deserves a better TV than the one it had during our stay.

Great location and only a stones throw from Aviemore for amenities. Very quiet site and comfortable accommodation. Comfortable bed and very spacious living area.

. Wasn't impressed to find dog excrement on decking from potentially previous occupants. This we reported to the owner. We also reported that the BBQ' was filthy and hadn't been cleaned by the previous occupants. I had hoped that during our stay the owner would have arranged for it to be cleaned. Sadly this didn't happen and we couldn't use it. My wife also cleaned out the cupboards of out of date foods that had been left.

Good location for walking my dog, nice and quiet very clean and looking forward to my next stay.

great location for exploring aviemore, short walk to a lovely local pub, 10min drive into aviemore! easy to arrive and leave! lodge was clean and had everything we needed for a few nights away.

nothing - holiday was great! not having WiFi can be a bit of a problem for googling and planning your day. I found that our 4g signal was mostly E with occasional 3G / 4G. as long as you are prepared / plan in advance of coming it’s great but having WiFi would be very helpful for looking up walks / attractions / restaurant menus. however this was expect and did not ruin our holiday in the slightest! I’d say it perhaps made it better turning off from the world!

Only small criticism, cleaning above counter level ,ie lights covered in cobwebs, decking precarious in poor weather,previous visitor's rubbish rammed in salt bin

from start to finish we had a great trip. the lodge itself was clean and had everything we needed. the bbq was a nice addition to have a last minute bbq dinner on the sunny days we were there. the board games and dvds came in handy for things to do at night and was a nice touch. I know some of the reviews mention about the wifi but I preferred there wasn’t, made us spend time as a family and not had our phones in screens. it’s close by to everything which is handy would recommend to anyone in the area

The location was excellent, the park itself was very well kept and very peaceful. Honeydukes Lodge was exactly what we expected, it certainly lived up to its excellent reviews. Pet friendly and our dog and kids loved it as much as we did.

The holiday home was beautifully presented and an excellent standard. We enjoyed it very much

Very clean, lots of excellent features such as the Nespresso machine. Great location.

Lovely mobile home, very good condition & spotlessly clean. Really good quality fixtures & fittings, bedding was good quality & really comfy. 2 bathrooms with a great shower in one, bath and overhead shower in the other. Large master bedroom and a good size twin with full size beds. Large decking area with table & chairs plus gas BBQ. The large site is very quiet with not many facilities, No shop while we were there, a small laundry and a tiny park, 1 swing & 2 bouncy animals but right next to the road. Would definitely recommend Honeydukes if you want a quiet get away or base to explore from.

Only one downside, NO WIFI My fault as I didn't check, but didn't expect in this day & age a rental to not have WIFI. Not a deal breaker for us but could be issue for teenagers & young adults as it was for my son, especially with poor mobile coverage.
