We got caught out by a strong thunderstorm while hiking for 4 days in Vosges and sleeping in a tent. We were completely soaked and also all our stuff as the rain covers didn’t help this time, so we were saved by this lovely guest house. Staff were friendly and kind and even though she only spoke German and French but no English we managed to understand each other. Bed was comfortable and shower the best after all we’ve gone through!

Booking.com only offered triple room which was slightly more expensive than double, but at the property we discovered that they still had few double rooms that didn’t show on booking.com. We could have saved money but it wasn’t property’s fault as she showed me her app and it showed rooms available. If you want to save 20eur, call them before booking

Over and above all the LOVE that reigns in the place thanks to their hosts and Absolutely Everything, the warmth, the authenticity, the energies, the hosts, the beds, the natural surroundings, the outstanding restaurant and service, the natural non adulterated food presented (we have very big intolerances to gluten, soy, corn, canola oil, sugar,.. due to its highly likely if not certain genetically modified origin) and they absolutely served us delicious meals. Importantly and moreover, the pure raw honey they have is beyond control, the best fir honey ever (and we have been consuming very good honey, which happens to be very close to human blood, in its raw non adulterated states - the vast mayority of honey in supermarkets or even bio stores has sugar added, white or in one of zillions camouflaged forms, to increase addiction and numb the human psyche, when raw honey is so nutrient dense that calms your hunger in very moderate amounts - for many years).

This question does not apply to this sacred place. And I have enough information to know it will never do. AUM
