Staff were warm and friendly as well as full of information re surrounding areas i.e., what's taking place and where. Accommodating as we extended our stay by 1 night and it wasn't a problem at all. Thx

Herzlichen Dank an Rick, James und das Team. Sie haben uns sehr gut betreut und alle Wünsche erfüllt. Sehr schöner Blick auf die Lagune, sehr schöner Garten und Pool. Zentrum nah, trotz N 2 Nähe sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab dunkles Vollkornbrot.

Location was excellent. Nice and open. Didn’t feel Caged in.

No front gate.

De ligging was prima, het ontbijt en het personeel ook. Mooie tuin met zwembad.

Alleen (slechte) wifi in de openbare ruimte maar dat was bekend. Onze kamer (oyster genaamd) was oud, slecht onderhouden en vies. Het rook er muf. Een donker bruin hol zonder enige vorm van gezelligheid met een oude bank met een vies kleedje erover waar je niet op kon zitten zo laag en hard. Klein bed. Schimmel en spinnenwebben op de muur, kapotte gordijnen en vlekken in het tapijt. Wel een grote badkamer met goede douche. Wc was vies. De schilder zou hier een leuke job aan hebben. Heel jammer, snap de hoge reviews dan ook niet...

Wonderful breakfast. Thoughtful staff who went the extra mile, packing breakfast in a container so my son who had stuffed himself on fruit salad could still eat his bacon and eggs on the road. A quiet glass of wine offered to a tired mum once the kids were asleep in the evening. Welcoming and warm.

My family and I travel quite a bit. We were MORE than blown away by this jewel of a place in Knysna with probably THE best and friendliest staff and owners I have EVER come across at any guesthouse. We only stayed over for one night and could not help but feel sad when it was time to leave the next morning! It was like we stayed over by close family...in LUXURY. The rooms, the shared areas - EVERYTHING at this place is TOP notch. The views from almost every angle are spectacular and then the breakfast - WOW. just WOW! And we had to leave early in the am, so the cooks were not in, so our breakfast was made by the manager.... SERVICE ABOVE AND BEYOND. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Room was very spacious and beautiful view! Super helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely make use of their accommodation again!
