Great home with everything we needed! It feels secluded enough to be a get away but also close to ASU which was helpful for us as we were there for our daughter who attends. Lots of sitting areas in the house, beds for 4 plus some couches, a well stocked kitchen. Only one bathroom but it was fine. Plenty of space to park outside too.

We stayed at this home at very last minute, and it was perfect! Excellent location close proximity to App. Communication with the owner is easy, even including a speedy appliance replacement.

We enjoyed our stay! If it hadn't poured rain the whole time we would have had the best time! Charles was great in getting an initial crisis resolved quickly. The house is very clean and we really enjoyed our evening fires.

Beautiful setting. Top of the hill. Easy access. Nicely landscaped. Extensive grounds. Inside was very clean with all the emenities and fabulous great room. Large dining area with seating for 10. Loved being close to wooded area.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The great room was our favorite room. Listened to music, played games and worked from there. The house has lots of space. The location is convenient to Boone and places to hike. We look forward to staying here again.

My family stayed here for a couple nights while our son toured App State. It was nice to be in a quiet spot after walking around campus and town. We loved the outside firepit and the house was cozy and well stocked for our needs. Communication with Charles was great. Very responsive to queries through the VRBO app. I would recommend this as a great place to stay for a night or longer if you're lucky!

This is a very nice home near Boone. We picked this place for a weekend of skiing. Have the give a major positive to the host for communication. During our stay there was a snowstorm. The owner was very helpful and had the best communication of any host I’ve had

It was a short visit, but we liked the house and location, so will definitely look for it again on our next trip up the mountain.

We absolutely loved our stay. Well stocked, sparkling clean and the sunroom/great room is such a cozy fun place to hangout! we sure will be back!

This place is not toddler friendly - there are tchotchkies everywhere and all of the outlets have extenders that make covering them unrealistic. We were able to mostly childproof the greatroom but we still had to watch our child like a hawk.2. The owners expect extensive cleaning. I've never stayed anywhere that expected more than general kitchen cleaning, garbage out, and putting used linens in washing area. This house expects laundry done, vacuuming, mopping, mirror and bathroom cleaning as well as the aforementioned. Perhaps the listing made this apparent, but had I known we would have stayed elsewhere.Definitely a great house and a good value.

We really enjoyed our visit. The Great Room was stunning and the patio perfect for enjoying the scenery. Is was easy to bond over the setting, the piano added to the fun.

The decorations for the holiday seasons were unexpected. Felt like home away from home for the holiday's.

We had a wonderful weekend at this cozy cottage. It was decorated for Christmas which made it even nicer. Well stocked, very close to campus and very clean. We definitely recommend this so home to anyone to rent

Our stay at this property was amazing. The home is so comfortable, clean and roomy. It's stocked with supplies for any and everything you may need. It has a detailed instruction book for everything. The owner (Charles) did and outstanding job communicating with me every step of the way. I highly recommend this home!

Perfect for what we needed as we passed through the area touring the Skyline and Blueridge parkway. Charles was very accommodating with allowing us to have five motorcycles in the driveway/garage. He was also very quick to respond to questions and had a nice guide in the house to help with some local recommendations. Check-in and out was easy. Would recommend if passing through
