The place is spacious, comfortable, modern and fully equipped to make your stay so incredibly memorable. The views are breathtaking and the patio was much appreciated. We loved every minute of it, thank you!

Many thanks to Mario and his family! We visited their place during our trip in February 2023 for a couple of nights, and it was our best accomodation experience. The house is very comfortable and nice, even luxurious. It is located outside the town, and it was an advantage for us. It will take less than ten minutes drive to get to the beautiful beach with splendid view (but not for swimming). It took us an hour and a half to go to Addo Elephant Park. There are supermarkets not far from the house.
The appartment will be perfect for those loving nature and comfortable living. We wish we could have stayed for at least a week.

I liked everything about it. The tranquility was exactly what we needed. The furniture is very modern and very stylish. The house uses solar panels so that means NO LOADSHEDDING, which is an absolute bonus. The hosts were very helpful, very friendly and always available to assist with whatever you need. The beach is about 5-10 minutes away and is absolutely breathtaking. Overall, the atmosphere of the place is excellent. The house itself is exquisite and has everything you need to enjoy and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the noisy and polluted city. We will definitely be returning to the Cottage. Definitely. ❤️
The only thing I would recommend is maybe blinds on the bathroom windows, but everything else is superb.

The property is in a quiet area, short distant from the beach. It’s peaceful and laid back and just what one needed to escape the city buzz. It is clean and neat. Fully equipped with all the necessities for a self catering accommodation. the owners were very accommodative concerning check-in and check-out times.

The peaceful location is just what we needed to recharge our city batteries! Beautiful views and nature all around us. The furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. Our every need was catered for and the cottage was spacious and spotless. What a lovely space to be in. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Lovely cottage, everything one needs and more! Well thought through. The hosts were very friendly and most helpful, even leaving a welcome gift for us.
The views of the beach was great. We loved that the cottage is secluded, yet close enough to the beach and a large shopping centre with restaurants and all shops you could need.
Unfortunately it rained most of the weekend, but it still did not detract from the cosiness of the cottage. Plus the rain is much needed in the Eastern Cape!

Lovely peaceful area, surrounded by nature reserve. Clean and had everything we needed. Although in a 'bushveld' setting, we were 15min from a big mall and only 30 minutes from the city.

The Cottage is a 2bed well thought out and upmarket with all amenities you can think of for a secluded getaway stay in the country.
Caters for all seasons and the hosts are super friendly and and kind.

This place is absolutely amazing and the host is fantastic. We had everything we needed and it was honestly such a lovely and relaxing time. I would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone wanting to experience a different side of life! The best part is waking up to the sounds of birds chirping and seeing the donkeys, sheep, horses and believe it or not monkeys. What an awesome experience and I would definitely go back.

The cottage was beatifully furnished, clean & comfortable. Location is stunning in a peaceful setting nestled in the hills with nightjars chirping at night. Close enough to PE but yet felt like we were miles away. Mario was very friendly and available if we needed anything.
Nothing. It was a perfect getaway. The rubbish and litter on Maitlands beach was disappointing - that has nothing to do with the cottage rather than behaviour of some who acess the beach.
