Beautiful room- grateful for the ceiling and floor fans because it was HOT and humid during my visit. The design of the room is very well ventilated. Also happy for the mosquito net but I did not notice an abundance of mosquitos (I used the provided plug in repellant which I guess works very well!). Excellent, helpful, happy staff and adorable gang of beach dogs who I would think were also on staff if I didn't know any better. Really good cocktails and food. Best of all, Dos Aguas connects you with locals who provide activities in the area and this was my absolute favorite part - I did a great hike through the tropical dry forest (which wasn't dry after heavy rains but gorgeous and interesting) and the perfect yoga class. They are super close to a dive center and I enjoyed a day of scuba and also got a massage. I spent some time just lounging in the beach chairs in front of the lodge and floating in the warm ocean. People do approach you to sell things and they are so friendly and not aggressive at all. I tried some sweet treats and got some cute jewelry. It was just great!

Because of the room setup, it can be a bit noisy at times during the night, but wasn't too bad overall

- stunning eco lodge next to the sea - amazing staff - great food and breakfast - free coffee and tea - they habe their own recycling system and use the water 3 times - very conscious behavior towards nature

- nothing - the inly thing to take into consideration is that the rooms are not completely closed so maybe you hear the people in the other rooms (eben though it's forbidden to be loud)

Location is spectacular - right on the beach. Staff are brilliant and there is a genuine focus on sustainability, rather than just using it as a buzzword. Rooms are really comfortable. Activities were fantastic. A really memorable experience.

There is so much to love about Dos Aguas - comfortable rooms with large beds and that keep cool at night with fans, amazingly friendly staff that seem interested in their guests activities and satisfaction, and the location was exactly what I was looking for... a remote, small town of locals located directly on the coast. The lodge is environmentally conscious and seeks to foster sustainability and economic prosperity for the local community. I staid 6 days - and could easily have staid twice that. As an endurance runner, I appreciate running the main road (long runs) as well as the coastline (~6k) each morning. It was great to get familiar with other early risers as well as see a couple other local runners!

This was my first time to Colombia and I speak very little Spanish. I was concerned about being able to navigate from Cartagena airport to Rincon by taxi, bus, and moto. Despite language challenges - it was a long trip, but was actually very simple. This made getting there very affordable. The ride back was arranged by private car - and again a long trip (about 2.5-3 hours) but delivered directly to the airport to my flight. The WiFi was adequate enough for me to attend online class. I'm reaching for anything to 'not' like... part of my desire was to find a location that was not easy to get to!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They all try to give you best advice to have the best holiday. The location of the hotel is stunning, everything is super relaxed.

The breakfast could include a bit more fruits, especially the pancakes. And the main dishes could include regional options. The ladies in the kitchen are amazing and great cooks but we were missing some of their influence on the dishes.

We adored our stay here. favourite slice of heaven in Colombia. Their sustainability ethos is incredibly inspiring and I left feeling motivated to take forward some of their steps. Meli front of house is such an asset to the hotel. such a kind and organised easy going individual. the island boat trip was excellent. the food is delicious. the rooms are beautiful. the yoga area is beautiful. loved it.

the one thing was that we found the food service to take a bit of time. around 40mns after ordering. but also, if you accept the vibe and order a little ahead then it should not be too much of a bother.

Absolutely nothing

The food was excellent, the ambience very chill. Snorkelliingvawas great, swimming with bioluminescent plankton was amazing, so cool! For anyone coming from Cartegana that wants private transport forc290,000 COP, contact Amelia Transportes Guillo, they are excellent, great driver, nice comfortable, safe vehicle, way more reasonable than other private services. Alternatively a taxi to San Onofre, then the bus to or from Cartegena comes in at about 75,000 one way, and the buses are comfortable. Well with the trip, no matter how you get there.

The yucca chips were a little heavy, they would be better if they were sliced more thinly

The hotel is amazing, exactly like in the pictures with a kind and professional staff. The beach is beautiful and safe to swim at all times of the day. The cocktails and food prepared at the hotel are delicious, and more or less the same price as in the rest of the village. Can't wait to return!

It would be great to have some help with the luggage when arriving. They are very clear that the last 100m you have to walk on the beach and do send someone to help you carry the suitcase(s) when you're leaving - the same would be nice upon arrival.

The hostel is ON THE BEACH! Amazing! And what's even better is that it's at the end of the beach of Ricon, so it's very quiet and relaxing, without the noise of the rest of Ricon. Vegan fond was very good aswell :)

Everything went well. The staff are terrific : friendly...helpful...accommodating...informative...genuine. The efforts for sustainability are unique and very nice to experience. The food is diverse and fresh and very good. The owners and staff are committed to operating with low impact on the environment and are creative in the operation of this Lodge. This property is the best in Rincon...a very tranquil and relaxing place to enjoy a vacation.

The only thing that could have been better...is if I could have stayed longer !

The location is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful.

Please be aware that there is no hot water in the shower, but this is part of the concept and did not bother us.

The Hotel and the location are excellent for a quiet & relaxing holiday by the seaside.

Total Beach vibe! Located on a beautiful beach, good food en lovely people. The also have a great activity board.
