We're extremely dissatisfied with our current accommodation. The cleanliness is far below acceptable standards – the inside of the kettle is disgustingly dirty, kitchenware hasn't been properly cleaned, and finding dried noodles stuck to a bowl was particularly unpleasant.Moreover, the facilities provided are severely lacking. There are no hangers in the wardrobe, hand washing supplies are missing from some of the toilets, and essentials like dishwasher tablets, rubbish bags, and kitchen towels are nowhere to be found. It feels like we're staying in an empty house with basic functions left unfulfilled.Upon entering the first floor, we were greeted by a foul odor reminiscent of sweat and staleness. This odor seems to emanate from the bunker room, which appears to have been inadequately cleaned and ventilated. The smell has persisted throughout our stay, forcing us to keep the room's door closed and the window open for ventilation.Overall, the quality of this accommodation does not align with the steep price of $360 per night. It's simply not worth it to stay in such a basic and filthy place.

We spent Christmas here with our friends from England, and we absolutely loved it!Lots of great space, bedrooms are spacious too. Separate living areas on each floor allow an extra space to chill too. Brilliant balcony to take in the stunning view across the bay. Plenty of parking, and straight over the road to the beach!Plenty of crockery, utensils etc, plus dishwasher was handy too.

Perfect for the group that went away great size for all

Our stay was short and sweet. The house is reasonably well appointed. It was a mission getting the food and kitchen supplies up stairs but the view was worth it. The ensuite without a door was a bit odd so thank goodness for the powder room next door.
The rear yard is secure for the doggos but mostly tanks. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if needed.

This property was excellent. We loved having two living areas, travelling with teens. The upstairs verandah area was amazing, with gorgeous views and plenty of seating. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed. We took all our supplies based on other reviews, but were pleasantly surprised with the quality and amount of items provided. Queen rooms were all awesome, we took extra blankets in case it was cold overnight. Bunk mattresses were ok, top mattresses thin, would be great for smaller kids. Short drive to Flaherty’s Beach highly recommended - can drive on with 4WD. Gorgeous water, low tide can walk forever before getting into waist deep water!
We will definitely be back to this property. Thank you for having us!

Vista Mare is located in a wonderful position close to a walking track and metres from the beach. Daily walks in the ocean as the tide was out and a swim when the tide was in were a must. The house is comfortable with air conditioning and a fan for the heat. The stairs were carpeted which was a bonus for our elderly dog who was welcome - and had a ball by the sea. Highly recommend

We loved what the Yorke peninsula has to offer. We were lucky enough for the perfect weather and had enough time to explore as well as relax. We loved the top floor outdoor terrace and the BBQ. What a spot to relax and make lifetime memories! We found the house to be very specious and privacy allowing, however kitchen was not handed to us very clean and the fact that no linen/towels, coat hangers, bedside table lamps, etc. If only there was Nespresso Pods coffee machine available for use with BYO capsules it would have been great, given lthere are no coffee shops @ PT.

Stayed in Point Turton many times - this is my fave shack available and book it every time it’s available during my holidays. Just the right blend of modern stay at home features to enjoy time in the shack, but with a view to Flaherty beach, it’s pretty motivating to lock up and hit the best beach in Oz.

Bunk mattresses quite uncomfortable tho, and quilts (supplied) just a throw type so as it is winter we didn’t go prepared for such light quilts

Very modern house with all the amenities you need for a great stay. Beautiful views from the lounge / dining room and the large balcony with enough seating for at least 10 people . The beds were a bit low but very comfortable and the bedrooms were well equiped with closet space and dresser for your clothes . Right across the road is a park/ grass area with a great walking track that extends all the way to Flaheretys beach and almost back to the Jetty the other way. General store is very well stocked and fairly reasonably priced . Fully equiped modern kitchen with pretty much everything you would need to cook for a large crowd and a nice BBQ out on the balcony . Plenty of parking space and a handy undercover spot right at the door if you need to unload the car . Think the last people might have had a dog who shed a bit as there was a bit of hair on the dining room floor and in the ensuite upstairs but you will get that in a pet friendly holiday rental ( we have 2 cats so we’re used to hair turning up after you vacuum) . Overall we had a great stay and totally enjoyed our time at Vista Mare and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Dee and Sharyn from Accomodation on Yorkes are great to deal with and are always prompt to reply to any enquires ( even silly questions ) in a reasonably quick time even on the weekend when they are supposedly not in the office.

A great spot and plenty of space, and its very dog friendly. But the property feels a little bare - it would benefit from a more generous bundle of grocery items in particular, plus an option to have linen provided. However, with our experience in hand, we'll gladly look to book again.

What a gorgeous location and the house had a great balcony. We loved waking up and watching the sunrise on the balcony with a cuppa, however the house itself was very dirty. The cleaner definitely had not been before our stay which was disappointing as we had to clean when we arrived. The fridge was full of food crumbs and the house itself was very dusty and the outside full of cobwebs, the bbq also needs a good clean and some TLC. Would be good to mention that there aren’t quilts like the blurb says. They are more like thin bead spreads. In saying this the house was kid friendly and it was great that there was a baby gate upstairs.

Only let down was property needed a good spring clean and due for a make over. Ie spider webbs everywhere plus bbq very dirty and old grease oil everywhere so just cooked inside as not cleaning products to deep clean bbg.

The convenience to the kid friendly Flaherty beach and playground won over the small people, access to good Kayaking and paddle boarding the next age bracket up. And rest were delighted with the nearby boat ramp, brewery and great views from the property.
Nice to stay with a group of ten with room for us all around a dinner table on the deck.

An excellent position near walking trails and the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. The balcony was al lovely place to eat at night and to sit during the day and look at the water.

T and A's 4th year extravaganza
Absolutely beautiful everything. The house was gorgeous, the people were great. The tavern was the best spot to just sit back and have a drink and a delicious feed with a spectacular view. Met the owners next door and they were an absolutely great couple to meet. Only small down fall was the bin was still full and was attracting ants through the kitchen but still loved every minute of the stay.
