Great Villa. Great Views. Great for outdoors dining

A group of 10 people, 6 adults with 4 children, had a wonderful stay here. The villa much larger than we had expected and was plenty big enough for the 10 nights we'd booked. Each family had their own separate living quarters with en-suite facilities and air-conditioning which was a life saver as it was so hot. The kitchen had all the required amenities and the outside BBQ was used nearly daily. Within just a few minutes drive, you have multiple food shopping choices with Lidl and Aldi closest, but Mercadona and Carrefour markets also great options. The town of Nerja is easily accessible with a large car park in the centre of town. And just up the road away from the coast, the elegant village of Frigiliana. This was a fantastic break.

Casa Solanum os a wonderful place for a family vacation. My family of nine persons enjoyed the house with five double bedrooms, bathrooms, the indoor and outdoor facilities. The size of the house, gardens terraces and pool meant that we never felt crammed. We had some minor problems with the hot water and the draining systems. Clean, great view and location. Everything you need for a great Holiday

This property is beautiful and perfectly designed to accommodate three families. However there is a problem with the hot water system. Master bedroom has no shower available because of the water pressure so had to use another bathroom. Getting hot water was haphazard Everywhere in the property.

House was really impressive - all amenities that one could require. Very clean, modern, communication with property manager was excellent. Really convenient location being close to Nerja and Frigiliana

Overall this property is one of the best we have stayed in over the years. From the booking onwards everything went smoothly and communication was superb throughout. We did have a couple of small issues, both were resolved quickly without fuss, which is the mark of a great listing. Debbie was great, always available on the phone and helpful with suggestions for the area and explaining the villa. The property itself is great. The general level of upkeep is good throughout. The pool area is better than the pictures and the outside dining area is great. The main living area is also good and the TV was used for late-night movies. All the bedrooms and bathrooms are good, with the master upstairs being a real highlight. The kitchen area is well stocked with utensils and all the things you need while on vacation, the washing machine etc all work (not always the case) As with anything, there are some things that could be better. Water pressure is a bit erratic. The WIFI is just ok, it fluctuates between 2-10mbps. The barbecue didn't work. Some electrics were strange, some lights not working, some switches that don't do anything (we assumed) To be honest none of these really had a negative impact on our stay. We would 100% recommend it and would book again.
